Sometime between 1946 and 1970's…

I felt the stinging pain of a deep cut on my leg dripping with blood, leaving a wet red trail to snake down over my calf, ankles and on to my bloody red high heeled shoes. It wasn't a bother really and I had no time to stop and heal it. Time was precious and at that moment and I didn't want to waste a second of it.

I continued down the hallway quickly, heels clicking against the hard cold floors, trying to find a way to escape. Several doors were in sight but none of them were the ones that I wanted. I quickened my step, eyes focused trying to find the one with the glimmer. Suddenly there was a loud explosion behind me that rippled the air and shook the ground. I felt myself sway, arms holding out to balance myself, and then I moved forward again.

More explosions were heard; powerful sounds of magic which were thundering against my shield. I had no time to look back, no time to pause before I started jogging, and it wasn't easy to do so when wearing six inch heels. I felt exhaustion all over my body, in my overworked muscles and sore feet. But the weakness of my body was the last of my worries, in fact I needed to escape, to heal and to regain my strength. I wasn't far away from the place I needed to apparate safely to my location, but I needed to be faster than him.

He wasn't far behind, and at the rate of explosions being fired speedily against my weakening shield would not be enough to hold him back. Immediately my eyes spot the door, there was glimmer of magic on it in, like a wavering light that disturbed the air which I had concealed it from wandering eyes. I gasped in relief and then fully sprinted like a madwoman down the hallway. I was seconds, seconds so close that I could have easily reached out with my fingers to grip the handle and rip it open, when the floor shifted underneath my feet from another powerful and deadly explosion. It was so strong that the floor cracked in places underneath my shoes causing me to fall. The walls split and then the ceiling lights fell down, crashing near my body as I braced myself on the floor with a cry.

I looked back and saw in horror my shield crumble down slowly, it's pale light fading from the top and right towards the ground before a long muscular pant cladded leg stepped over it, until both his shoes were pointed towards me. I trailed my eyes over slowly to the cause of my fallen protection, the wizard who was preparing to kill me with no hesitation to spare. The one I had spent the past few years trying to hunt down but now was making it his personal mission to hunt me.

There was murder in his eyes, a violence that emanated from his black orbs as he burned his gaze in to mine. A slight hint of smile played at the corner of his full lips, he tilted his head like an animal and studied me coldly and clinically like a python, ready to strike. How could I ever forget such a deathly gaze, bottomless and soul sucking, as if a dementor had lived inside of him, rooted itself so deep in him that they became one. His black glossy hair was parted as usual in waves, and not one single strand of it was out of place. For someone so beautiful, carved like marble, sculpted like a god himself, and dangerously handsome, he was everything but good. If he was anything else, he would be leaking black ichor out of eyes, mouth and ears like some demon set out to curse anyone it came into contact with. He considered my state of dress, eyes roaming over my ruffled long curls messy with our previous combat, the rips in my long red dress and then to the cut on my leg.

For a moment I was jealous that he looked so composed compared to me, whereas he was clean and looked as if he had just stepped out from a modeling magazine- I was the opposite. I felt like I had run through a warzone in a slinky red dress that did little to protect my body from harm. Even the heels weren't even comfortable at this point.

Goosebumps rose on my skin when I felt high amounts of dark power radiating off of him, like waves of cold icy water. It pulsed from his body, sharp and heavy with the weight of a stolen magical core, his and someone else's joined together. He didn't need to have his followers with him anymore to do his heavy work now, a choice he had chosen to make, but now he just needed himself and that was what made him more dangerous. I gripped my wand in my hand and pointed it to him, my position on the floor was uncomfortable, and the slit on my dress which I regretted wearing was now revealing more than I had liked. However it served for a good distraction for his dark gaze which locked on to my exposed upper thigh, and it was a second enough for me to murmur 'Incendio' before a bursting jet of flames erupted from the tip of my wand and into his direction.

There was a split moment of surprise that flashed in his eyes before he casted another shield, and at the same time I jumped up ignoring the sharp pain in my leg before reaching out to the door handle again. I wrenched it open before a sharp noise split the air and something whipped out in the corner of my eyes; a green but pulsing rope that snapped painfully around my ankle like a snake. It pressed in to my skin and caused me to hiss out before I turn to glare at Tom Riddle over my shoulder. I bared my teeth at him as he pulled the rope back and my heels dragged against the floor, over the cracks and back.

I clench my fingers around the door knob, desperation running through my veins as I try to wrench my feet forward. I managed to twist and open the door before I felt the rope digging into my ankle again and then Riddle abruptly pulled it causing my body to drag back in a game of tug of war. Pure wrath was evident in his eyes as he opened his mouth and mocked me, "Trying to run away already? I had rather thought you quite enjoyed our little dance but before I kill you, I do believe you have something that belongs to me-" He stepped forward, his lean body coming closer as I struggled against the rope. "Something valuable to me, something precious."

I narrowed my eyes and spat at him as my heart raced in my chest, "Fuck you Riddle. I hope you choke on your own spit and die." I hissed out and then pointed my wand at him. "I don't know what gave you the idea that I have anything that belongs to you on me." I lied through my teeth. I tried not to adjust my cleavage as I felt the small object digging into my left breast causing me to wince. "In fact, I believe your just looking for an excuse to strike me down."

He grinned, sharp canine's glinting in the light as he ran his gaze over my body again but more so in a accusing way, "You are becoming a nuisance, incredibly so in the past few months, but it has warranted enough of my attention for me to find you- my pretty little thief, but first let's start with not telling lies, shall we? Didn't your parent's ever teach you that it's wrong to steal what isn't yours?" I stiffened, my breaths coming out erratically as he continued. His voice lowered, venom lacing every syllable that came out of his mouth, "Oh, that's right, how silly of me. You don't have parent's anymore- I almost forgot," he paused, black eyes lingering on my chest before raising them again, "that's because...I killed them."

Ice ran through my body, like my blood had turned into glacial water as I felt my breath stutter. How dare he. It was bad enough that he partook in my parent's murder but now he was going to mock their deaths. My chest seized and then an overwhelming amount of fury, sadness, and bitter hate courses through my limbs and right into my wand. All I saw was red as I whipped out my wand again and shouted, " Confringo! Expulso! ." The rope around my ankle waned thin as Riddle quickly shielded himself - he was quick to respond because my anger was what he wanted, what he expected and I was giving to him. I could have had the opportunity to burst through the door behind me and apparate but I was acting on several rampant emotions - the adrenaline pumped through my body and I felt like a dragon breathing fire in his direction.

I was going to stomp on him, the fucking bastard. 'Stupefy! Crucious!'

More spells erupted from my wand, responding to my intent as the snake like vice of rope disappeared from my ankle. ' Sectumsempra!' All of them were either deflected, shielded or evaded, but Riddle remained satisfied, his mouth turning into an evil grin the more I directed spells at him which further fueled the wrath in my veins. I dodged a spell that I shot which had bounced off his shield and came back. There was a blur of motion before I skidded to the side and I shot spell after spell with no plan on stopping. I was pushing him back, his steps retreated, as the speed of his reflexes increased from the onslaught of spells that I cast towards him mercilessly.

I could feel the aches in my muscles increasing, and my magical core straining to keep up with my fury as I rained hell on him. As he dealt with the spells I quickly pointed to the ceiling 'Expulso!' A burst of light shot into the ceiling above him, breaking apart the ceiling plaster as it started to fall on top of him. For a moment his eyes widened and the grin on his face disappeared as he looked above before casting another shielding spell. It was a second too late before he was hit in the shoulder roughly by a piece of the ceiling. This caused his wanded hand to drop, I gave him a smug look. I then pointed my wand at his feet ' Incarcerous!' Riddle had no time to avoid it as his shield vanished before thin cords of rope wrapped around his feet and travelled above towards his flailing limbs.

They wrapped around him quickly, powerful and thick as they pulled him to the ground and caged his body. His nostrils flared as he glared at me, expression turning into a seething look before he curled his lips. I backed towards the door eyes trained on him before wrenching it open. I stepped back into the room, chest heaving with exertion, and then his eyes lowered. There was a moment of pause, a pregnant silence that felt tangible in the air as the clench in his jaw slackened and his brows pulled together tightly. There was a different shade of darkness that overcame his gaze, almost heavy and wicked as his eyes locked below my neck.

What was he looking at? Did he have no decency?

I felt cold air on my breast, a coolness that sent goosebumps all over my skin. I quickly looked down and realized with mortification that the top of my strapless dress had rolled down, and it must have been while I was sending spells at Riddle that it happened, because, oh Merlin help me but my right breast was exposed and Riddle's horcrux which I had shrunk was poking out in plain view in between the valley of my breasts.

I could feel the surge of prior rampant emotions dissipate into the air leaving me shame faced. He didn't even meet my gaze, instead he looked like he was burning a hole into my chest but that was because his horcrux was in sight. Want appeared in his eyes as his lips pulled back against his bared teeth while his fingers twitched. He struggled against his binds, his breaths coming out erratically like a bull being restrained.

Now! Use his distraction! He is a man after all!

I quickly conjured an image in my mind- my location and then before I felt my body being pulled away into teleportation, my last view of Riddle was his dark and furious gaze and the look of utter unadulterated wrath in his eyes. If I had looked closer I would have seen the vein pulsing in his temple as his muscles strained against the binds. I subconsciously licked my lips as a smile etched on to my red lips, "I'll take good care of your horcrux for you Riddle..." I purred at his face.

To spite him even more I held up my hand and gave him the middle finger before he vanished from sight completely.
