Number 95, we are nearing the big 1 double zero :D! Noble Six ask me to write this for his story on his page, so make sure you check out his story to see what is going on.
Enjoy :)!
It was opening day at the San Diego Memorial Stadium. Everyone was lining up to get in and see the game between the newly made Cyclones and the Detroit Devils. Of course the locker rooms were also busy with their own preparations for the game the reporters piling in to talk to the two division 3 teams.
Visitor locker room...
Reporter Johnathan: Excuse me Mr. Lucian.
The couch turned to the reporter.
Couch Lucian: Yes, wish to talk about the game?
Reporter Johnathan: Yes sir, tell me what do you think of this new team? They have a veteran on their team and new players with exceptional skills?
Lucian gave a thought, before nodded and speaking.
Couch Lucian: Paul Dungy has always been a go getter, ready to take the world on even if he gets hurt so it's no surprise that he joined the newbie team.
Cyclones locker room...
Reporter Aleena: You took the chance when they called you?
Paul Dungy: Of course! This is a whole new experience, not to mention these boys are determined to get out on to that field. Some of these are from the reserve draft that never got the chance to get picked a year ago so this new team is giving them a chance to play!
Reporter Johnathan: How do you feel about Grant Tanner being on the team.
Couch Lucian: Bit worried about that choice, he's a good player but he's also got a steak of almost making it but short. But it has to be better than not playing anymore?
Reporter Aleena: You think you will be able to break Tanner's streak?
Paul Dungy: Well for starters that whole curse rumor about him are %# $, I will have no one say otherwise. He's a great player and will be a amazing mentor to the rookies too. He's got not only skill but powerful knowledge.
Reporter Johnathan: And how do you think the two new stars will do on the Cyclones? Lewis and Robert?
Couch Lucian: Those two are pretty good but this is the big leagues. Those two better stay on the right side and not get into any trouble. I'm sure that Paul will make sure those kids are alright.
Reporter Aleena: You must be pretty protected with the rookies.
Paul Dungy: Of course. I want to make sure my boys stay safe, out of trouble and are healthy. Lewis and Robert are new to the league so they will see things that will even make the strongest and toughest couches and players spine shiver, but i'll make sure they are safe.
He nodded before he clapped his hands over and the team gathered around.
Paul Dungy: First of all, welcome to you first game boys. This here is where you will be challenge and tested on the field, just as you will off the field. The Devils are tough and brutal, if you have any question about what you need to do or a game plan please let me, the staff or the veterans know. Listen well, whether we win or lose is not the point. We want to first leave a strong impact this season, winning the league would be a huge bonus if possible. Remember, stay safe, stay focus and don't let rage overwhelm you.
Players: YES COUCH!
Paul Dungy: Alright! LET'S PLAY BOYS!
With that the team ran out of the locker room nearly running over the reporter women if she wasn't moved to the side by Grant.
Reporter Aleena: Thank you?
Grant gave a nod as he ran off with the team. He reached the couch soon.
Paul Dungy: Thank you for helping her not get smooshed.
Grant Tanner: Of course, not fun getting flatten like a pancake on the first game of the season.
