Her feet sunk into the shallow depths of the river, a blissful sigh escaping her lips as the gentle push of the current dances and swirled the water around her skin. She watched as he continued to wade out further, stopping to finish the preparations of his rod and casting to test the line.

He seemed much more at peace in this surrounding, like the haunting of his mind that he believed she had forgotten could not reach him as he cast the line a final time and waited for something to bite. Sera sighed and let her head fall back slightly, drinking in the sunlight as she listened to the simple sound of nature.

"You always used to enjoy joining me here"

She didn't bother to look back at him as she let a small smile grace her lips, knowing that his smile would mirror her own at this moment of peaceful perfection.

"I like being outside and in the sun. As long as you don't think I'm wading into that water with you"

Will's laughter echoed through the trees as her smile grew just that little bit wider, her heart singing with joy at the knowledge she had brought such a reaction from the tortured man before her.

"I'd never ask such a thing, not after the first and only time I got you to fish with me... I believe that I have it recorded on a home video somewhere"

"You have home videos?"

She was looking at him now, eyes wide with wonder at the concept. How could he have home videos of her if this was all only a dream? Unless her mind was trying to draw her into this reality even further by fabricating such a notion.

"Well yeah, home videos were always something you insisted on. You used to like watching them when you felt upset. There's some with Hannibal and Felicia as well, although those two prefer photo albums that can't embarrass either of them with how childish they can be when together."

The thought of Felicia behaving childish wasn't a difficult thing to imagine, as well behaved and proper as the blond could be when in the view of strangers, she had pulled her fair share of stupid stunts in the past. Hannibal, however, was a completely different story. Sera was convinced that he had popped out of the womb already middle-aged, suited in Armani and hair slicked back with hair products Sera could only dream of affording. The thought that the man ever had a childish bone in his body was beyond her comprehension. Clearly something that needed to be explored.

"You'll have to let me watch them at some point"

Will couldn't help the grin that formed on his face at her eagerness to the idea. So much like the Sera he loved. She used to sit watching those videos for hours, rebuilding her memory bank of embarrassing information to taunt both Hannibal and Felicia with.

"I'd love to see that myself. That Alpha and Omega pair are such tough nuts to crack"

The voice sent a nauseating sensation through her entire body as Sera turned to look behind her, eyes narrowing in anger that she didn't quite know the origin of as they landed upon the woman behind her. An Alpha it seemed as her senses began to ring alarm bells within her mind at the overly strong, bitter scent that clung to her. Almost like limes, a flavour Sera had never been fond of.

The woman was sending a sickly sweet smile towards Sera as she moved a step closer, stopping only at the low rumbles of a warning growl that emanated from Will as he glared daggers of his own. Sera was vaguely surprised as she sent a quick glance to the man in the river, unsure of how to feel at the sudden feeling of danger that surrounded him.

'Beware. For here be monsters that you know nothing of'

The words rang out within her mind as a shiver ran through her spine. What was that supposed to mean? Will wasn't a monster, he was kind and caring from what Sera had seen so far. But if that were so, then why was she beginning to feel like she'd only seen a fraction of the man before her?

"What do you want Miss Lounds?"

"Funny, I never did understand why such a lovely Omega would go for an Alpha like Mr. Graham. With all his... Instabilities... I'd have thought he'd repel any Omega with survival instincts. But I suppose that someone had to love him eventually. A shame it was you, Miss Wright"

Sera felt her fists clench at Lounds' words. She'd never liked Freddie Lounds when she'd been back in her own world and watching her on certain episodes of Hannibal on the TV, but she hadn't thought it would manifest upon her even in the coma dream she was having, and definitely not as strongly as it seemed to have. She hated her, even the sight of her was enough to make her blood boil.

'Hannibal should have let us kill her when we had the chance'

The voice was spat with venom that stoked the burning hatred within her even further, her fists moving behind her back as they began to flex with her growing agitation, face calm and tranquil as she began to step closer to the fiery haired Alpha, a charming smile upon her lips as she spoke.

"You'll have to forgive me, but I really don't remember you beyond your name. Have we met before?"

Freddie's returning smile was sickly sweet, goading Will in her considered 'victory' as she eyes the Omega that now stood directly in front of her.

"I guess it can't be helped if the rumours of your amnesia is true. We met before you became mated to Will, at a thesis presentation being held by the hospital you were a trainee at. I was rather shocked to later discover that both you and your sister were Omega. Not that I blame you for it, the weaker sex must always find a way to survive in this cruel world without an Alpha to protect them"

Sera's smile became twisted as something finally snapped within her own mind and her hands shot out to clutch the shoulders of the Alpha, a vicious gleam within her eyes as anger began to drip into her voice, Will shuddering as he recognised the fury behind it.

"I may be an Omega, but I don't need to be stronger than someone who's clearly weaker than I'll ever be"

Will shuddered involuntarily at the crunching sound that sang out as Sera thrust her skull towards the other's nose, shattering the bone with satisfaction before pushing the bloodied Alpha aside and beginning to storm away, back towards the house with Will sticking close behind.

The house shuddered as the pair entered and Sera slammed the door with severe force. Her blood was boiling, her adrenaline high and mind racing with a desire to maim Ms. Lounds as much as her hands could manage.

She hated her, it was just as simple as that. As much as she should have been appalled by her own behaviour and thoughts, she just couldn't bring herself to feel it. It just felt too right to feel this all consuming rage, to want to maim and destroy anything that mocked her.

"If you don't mind, I'm going for a shower. I need to wash away that woman from my skin"

She didn't give Will a chance to answer as she made her way up the stairs and slammed the bathroom door behind her. Will sighed, rubbing a tired hand across his face as he moved towards the kitchen. He had been stunned by her outburst, hadn't expected to see such violence from his Omega before she had fully regained her memory.

Compared to Felicia, Sera's temper was a well kept secret usually. It lurked beneath her jovial nature and happy smile, formidable and shocking to any who witnessed it and often lethal to any who were on the receiving end of it. Will would need to speak to Hannibal about silencing Freddie if the female Alpha took the incident too far.

His musings were cut short as his cell phone began to buzz within his pocket, a concerned look upon his face as he pulled it out and saw Dr. Lecter's ID flashing on the screen. What could the doctor want? Surely he and Felicia hadn't gotten into another spat he thought as he opened the text message.

'Good Will, I trust I find you in good spirits. There is something I must request of you'

Will felt the colour drain from his face as he began to reply, nothing good ever came from any of Hannibal's requests.

'Not really, Freddie turned up and now Sera is seeing red'

'Oh my, surely such a meeting could not have ended well, neither Sera or Felicia have ever taken kindly to that Alpha'

'She head butted her'

The reply took a little longer to arrive as Will began pulling out items from the cupboards and stacking them on the side, intent on trying to cheer Sera up once she returned from the bathroom with a cup of her favourite. Extra sweet coffee.

'Apologies for the delay Will, but I find that rather humorous'

'You would doc, you would'

'But I believe that this event may work well with what I was hoping to request of you. I have found that, in the case of my own mate, kindling Felicia's temper and then feeding the fire has proved effective in coaxing out the memories of her past. I believe that the same may apply to Sera. With that in mind, my request is simple...'

Will felt the blood drain from his face at Hannibal's request. This was why he hated the doctor asking for anything from him, it was never clean cut or easy.

'No way. I thought you were insane to begin with but this just proves you've fallen from the sanity tree. She's already riled up and has broken an Alpha's nose in the process, what the hell makes you think I want to start world war three anytime soon? Does Felicia even know what you're suggesting to me?'

'My theory is well founded thus far dear Will, so far with my own efforts, Felicia has already realised that the world around her is reality and begun to piece together the fragments of her life. Can you report the same success? And no, she knows nothing of this, she is currently in her room preparing for tonight's dinner with Dr. Chilton as our guest'

Will gritted his teeth at the message. Why did Hannibal always have to have an answer for everything and evidence to back it up? It wasn't that he didn't want to speed up the recovery of his mates memories, but could he really justify such actions based only on Hannibal's 'efforts'.

'I don't like this Doc. You remember how volatile Sera can be?'

'I am well aware, but I am thinking only of your future happiness and well being'

Will bit his cheek as the urge grew stronger and finally won out, his hands beginning to move on their own. Why did the doctor always have to get the better of him?

'You've made the right choice Will. I pride myself on knowing how to coax out the true nature of an individual. Just as I once helped to bring about your own true nature, I shall now help you retrieve Sera's'

Will clicked his tongue in vague annoyance at the final message as he took the bin bag out of the house. Lecter may have played a large role in awakening his own inner monster, but were any of them really prepared for what might happen if they riled up Sera?

She sighed as she turned the switch and the hot water ceased to run, the steam lingering as she left the shower and wrapped the towel firmly around herself before moving towards the bedroom. Her mind was still buzzing but she felt calmer for having taken some time to herself.

She didn't feel guilty for her actions, but she knew she'd need to apologise to Will for her outburst.

"Why did she have to turn up anyway? We were having a good time until she ruined it"

Throwing on one of Will's shirts and a pair of his boxers, Sera made her way back down the stairs and towards the kitchen. She was going to say sorry, but first she needed coffee.

"Hey, are you ok now?"

She turned to face Will as he appeared behind her in the kitchen door, a worried gleam in his eye as he watched Sera's hand reaching for the coffee jar. She thought nothing of it, believing it to be to do with what had happened earlier that day as she smiled slightly.

"Yeah, feeling a little better, just dying for a brew"

The worried gleam only grew stronger within the Alpha's eye as Sera returned to her task, hands freezing as she peered into the empty sugar jar.

"Will... Where the hell is the sugar?"

"We ran out"

An unearthly snarl ripped from her throat as she spun to face him fully. hadn't she had a bad enough day as it was? Now the sugar was gone and he was lying to her about it.

"I made coffee this morning, I KNOW it was full! Where the hell is it?"

Will began to back up as a maddened gleam came to the Omega's eye, her fists beginning to flex once more as she advanced upon him. He knew he shouldn't have listened to Hannibal. Sera was dangerous when angered and no amount of sweet smiles or amnesia could clearly change that fact.

"I'm sorry love, but it's for your own good. Dr. Lecter said it was for the best"

"Then Lecter is a DICK and you were an idiot to listen to him!"

Will didn't have chance to prepare his defence as Sera flew at him and manhandled the phone from out of his pocket, searching through the contacts before placing the cell to her ear, her voice venomous as she snarled.

"Hannibal! You're a dead man walking. I know where you live and you had better sleep with one eye open. You may think your some scary ass motherfucker but this time YOU messed with the wrong person. My sugar is gone and I swear to god SOMEBODY is going to pay. Namely YOU!"

Hey everyone, I am so sorry for how long this has taken. Things haven't been going so smoothly for me recently and I've had to take a step back from my stories whilst I try to organise my life. But everything seems to be sorted now and I'm hoping to have another chapter up soon, so I hope that you all enjoyed the latest update and will let me know what you all thought.

Apologies again for the delay and a huge thank you to all the readers who reviewed and favourited/followed in the last chapter.
