Chapter 2

Takeshi POV

We have been on the move for months now, and every time we have found somewhere to peacefully rest. Scareyes ends up attack us when we lest expect it. It is like he has got a vendetta against Razors pack or maybe towards Phantom. Not that I want to know since Phantom has told me a bit about him, well also Razor. Which is enough for me to understand who this guy is. Well actual make that raptor but that is beside the point.

As for Silvereyes, well, we have not seen her since she brought back. And while that could have softened my aggression on her, it still bothers me a lot that she's Scareyes' daughter. The more she is near us, the more uncomfortable I get, especially around my mate.

The truth is, I have been more protective of both her and the pack. I'd even volunteered to stay up for the night to keep an eye out for Scareyes' pack. True there have been times where we can finally take a rest but do to everyone being on edge and on high nerves, Razor made the call to keep on moving.

But what really gets them, is that we lost most of our pack, and a lot of the eggs that the other females had laid, smashed by Scareyes pack. It was devastating to say the least.

Now, Matthew and his small group had helped us a lot. Surprising I know, but if there is anyone I can trust right now that is not a raptor its him.

As of now, were just a few miles from there new hide out. Yeah, new, they moved out since they attacked our pack making them to close for comfort.

So I guess that makes three things that I really nervous, Scareyes' Pack keeps on attack when they get the chance, Matthews' life on the line, and my mate who is pregnant, who is also going to be laying soon along with the other females. A least what is left of them that is.

In the meantime, Razor is trying to keep his own pack from turning on him and just hearing the arguments going on and on is just hurting my head. Which is why Phantom is helping him out, but I've tried to help as well.

"I SAY WE STAND AND FIGHT!" yelled one our members.

"YOU BLIND," responded Jane, "WE'VE LOST A LOT OF MEMBERS OF OUR PACK AND YOU EXPECT US TO STAND AGAINST HIM!"

The male soon answered, "SAYS THE GIRL WHO STILL HAS A MATE TO BEGIN WITH!"

"ENOUGH!" shouted Phantom with his voice being a bit soar, "ALL OF YOU! Now, just get this straight. None of this is Razors fault, and all of you should know that…"

"Your right, its that Silvereyes fault." Stated one of the last few females of our pack.

"This isn't good.", state Alkane.

Right now, the two of us are just trying to say out of it, mostly because of my temper is staringly searing up a bit. The last thing we need is turn on each other which is probably what Scareyes is counting on.

"Yeah, but I do see the point on both sides."

Alkane looked at me with a bit of confusion so I explain, "Razor and Phantom knows they can't stand up against Scareyes pack now. And it may seem like a good idea to keep moving. The other side is a bit hard to explain but its basically, we would rather fight to the death then run away. Something like that."

"Nice to see your back to yourself." Said Alkane noticing my change of mood.

I just took a deep breath and didn't say a thing for the next few minutes.

Once the dust settled, Razor and I decided to head out to talk for a bit.

"Do you think it was a good idea to send her away?" asked Razor.

I know who he was talking about but refused to answer, which was good enough for him.

"I mean, I get that she's his daughter but why would she risk her life to bring Phantom back? It just doesn't make sense."

My instincts started to rise a bit, but I keep it down and responded, "Maybe she's just doing this so Scareyes could track us. I mean, he knows Phantoms scent and hers as well."

"I guess but…" Razor stopped for a second and picks up someone's scent.

I could smell it to, and it did not take me long to figure out who it was. And sure enough, it was her, Silvereyes. My body started to tense up a bit, and even let out a bit of a growl.

"Nice to see you to." Was her response.

Razor just stands between the two of us, for what reason I have not have the slightest idea. Deep down I know what to do, and my instincts say to kill her. But keeping myself composed, I stayed back. The last thing we want is another fight. But even if she wanted to start one, Silvereyes would be out matched or should I say outnumbered.

"What do you want?" I asked with a growl.

Another raptor came right beside her, and it was the same one who came with her. I believe he calls himself One-Eyes because of that scar on the left eye. Maybe he is blind in one eye, or possibly both.

"We want to help you find a safe place…"

"No." was my answer, but Razor snaps at me wanting to hear them out. Not wanting to deal with it, I just left him but not to far. Do to the fact I want to keep a close eye on the two of them.

The next few hours have passed, and we are on the move again. Honestly, I did not want to move but it was to keep one step ahead of Scareyes pack and that is all I need to hear to convince me.

And where are we going, is beyond me. As long as our pack and my mate are safe, then I'll be fine.
