The house stood silent, it's occupants stunned to silence as they each tried to piece together exactly what had brought them all to this point. The dining room lay in a shambles, Hannibal's face distorting with the annoyance of it all whenever he allowed himself to take in the sight before returning his eyes to the two Omega's that sat opposite him, both holding wine glasses and looking far too satisfied for his liking.

"I believe I was mistaken for trusting either of you to behave this evening"

Sera cackled at his words, raising the wine glass in salute before taking a large gulp, ecstatic at the gleam of pure annoyance that lay within the Alpha's eyes.

"never underestimate the wrath of two pissed off Omega's"

Will groaned from his position on the floor, alerting the attention of the other three as they turned towards the Alpha as he clutched his head and looked around in mixed horror and confusion. With her head rested against her palm, Felicia chose to be the one to break the ice.

"Welcome back to the land of the living curly top, how's your head after the knock?"

"What the hell happened here?"

Sera and Felicia sent a brief glance towards each other, not once losing the smug smiles from their faces. It was a good question really, what could possibly have taken place that would have left Lecter's dining room in utter disorder and given the guests of his latest dinner party enough gossip to last a lifetime. But as Sera had stated: Never underestimate the wrath of two pissed off Omega's.

"Oh where do we start?"

*Two weeks previously*

Distress. Thick and almost touchable as the scent moved through the house and seeped through his bedroom door, reaching his senses and alerting him that the Omega across the hall was far from happy. He could hear the sobs and whimpers as he exited his own bedroom and moved closer to her own, opening the door silently to find her tossing violently in her sleep as she fought against invisible enemies.

The sight made his blood boil with rage against the man he knew caused these nightmares, fed the desire that he could be brought back from the dead so that he could murder him once more.

"Felicia. My love, wake up. You are safe"

His gentle hand finding her own caused her eyes to snap open as she bolted upright in the bed and looked frantically around at her surroundings, the tracks of her tears upon her pale cheeks evident in the moonlight as she began to calm down and hugged her knees tightly too herself. She felt vulnerable and at the mercy of a dead man as she buried her face away, only to have Hannibal bring her back to look at him.

"A new memory or an old ghost?"

"Nothing new, just the same torture... Beatings, mental abuse, memories of bandaging my own injuries and helping Sera tend to her own"

He placed a light kiss against her hair as he pulled her a little closer, surprised when she didn't fight against him and chose to move just that little bit closer to him as she allowed herself the comfort that she found only he could give to her.

"Why do I have to remember Hannibal? Why is it so important to you to get these memories to the surface again when all they do is cause me pain?"

"Because they are what made you who you are, the woman that I love and would give the earth too if I could. They are the memories of how you and Sera became sisters, not by blood, but by suffering and that is something that you should not want to throw away"

She hadn't realised that she'd moved so close to him until she had to remove her head from its resting place against his chest so that she could look up at him. Would there be happy memories waiting for her once she remembered her first encounters with Hannibal? Memories of courting and loving touches? Something told her that it wasn't quite the case, but that they would be happy memories none the less.

"Then I'll do my best to endure them... Thank you"

His smile was soft, something she knew was a rare sight upon his face with anyone other than herself. She watched him as he pulled away and stood from the bed to make his exit.

"Try to sleep once more my love, I will be here if you need me"

the door shut softly behind him as Felicia continued to stare at the door for a moment longer before a devilish smile began to creep onto her face, her eyes shining with all the menace that the devil within her mind possessed. The nightmares and her own fear had been real, the distress she had felt still evident in her mind. But she was not a woman about to allow an advantage to pass by. She had yet to take her revenge for what had happened only days before with Sera and her precious sugar, with the coffee when he had tried to bribe her allegiance.

What better way to get her revenge than to play the innocent, damaged Omega that he believed her to currently be. To worm her way under his skin by playing his Alpha instincts to protect against him.

'You've forgotten a lot, but some things will never change'

The inner demons voice was gleeful as Felicia pulled herself from the bed as well and straightened the button up shirt that she wore for nightclothes, pale blue with a lingering scent from the last time that Hannibal had worn it. It felt good to have it against her skin. Her lips twitched slightly, a menacing chuckle leaking out slightly before she set her face straight and began to move towards her destination. Hannibal's bedroom.

Hannibal had just gotten himself comfortable beneath the sheets of his bed, just settled his head down against the pillow to drift back into the lonely sleep he had come to expect from his nights since Felicia had gone into the coma, since she had returned to him and proven how little she remembered of their life together.

He missed her, his dark angel of death as she hunted down her next victim and executed the art that she created with Sera, missed watching how she manipulated the crowd at their dinner parties and had them believing she was every bit the perfect Omegan mate for an Alpha like Hannibal. She was perfect for him, but not in the way that they all believed as they ate the flesh that he carved himself, sometimes enjoying the help of his beloved as he stored each bloody image to his memory palace.

"Hannibal?"

His eyes turned to the door as he pulled himself up in the bed, surprise evident on his face as Felicia stood in the doorway, a look of embarrassment upon her face as she clenched her fists within the shirt he had given to her. If she hadn't looked so vulnerable in that moment, he would have scolded her for possibly damaging one of his well tailored shirts.

"Are you well my love? You have not come to my room once since your return"

Her face flushed a pretty tinge of pink as she averted her gaze and scowled slightly through her embarrassment. She had never liked to display the vulnerable side of her gender, but it was always a treat for him when she did.

"I... I can't sleep... Can I stay with you tonight?"

The Alpha within him began to purr with satisfaction as he pulled the bed covers down and allowed the petite woman to climb in beside him, watching as she pulled the duvet over her and began to busy herself with finding the best position to sleep in, all the while looking frustrated and bothered. It was strangely adorable after so long of being alone.

"Can't be helped... guess it's my only option"

He'd have thought nothing of her words if they hadn't been followed by her body moving closer to his own, her head moving to rest against his chest as a delicate hand moved to join it upon the broad expanse, stroking cautiously through the hair that scattered along the surface.

"Sorry. It's just that you make the nightmares go away"

It wasn't a complete lie. His presence was intensely reassuring as he wrapped an arm around her own waist and held her securely against his chest, but her inner devil seemed to be doing cart wheels of joy as she cackled manically to herself.

'We're likely going to be digging two graves after this, one for you and one for Sera, but fuck if this isn't going to be fun'

Felicia fought with herself to keep the menacing grin from her face, not wanting to tip the Alpha off that she had ulterior motives in mind for her sudden desire to share his bed. It would take time to build up the needed facade of trust with him, but the outcome of her revenge would be worth it. Oh, it would most certainly be worth it.

She couldn't believe what she was seeing, her eyes wide with panic as the young Omega before her curled tighter into herself and clenched her fists. She looked in absolute agony, but the scent that filled the room told Sera a different story. Thank god Dunhill wasn't home yet.

"Felicia... You're starting your first heat?"

Felicia's eyes flashed in acknowledgement, turning to look away from her sister once more as she fought desperately against her own, baser, instincts. She didn't need this right now, her body beginning the next stage of her development since she'd turned sixteen, it was too dangerous. It would pass soon enough, not quite in its fullest stage of the heat, but if Dunhill returned home before then she would be in far greater danger than a mere beating from his belt.

"We need to get out of here Sera...We need to run, never look back"

Sera bit her lip in worry, surely Felicia couldn't be serious? It wasn't as if she'd never thought about it, but only in her most miserable of moments.

"Where would we go? We've got no money and absolutely nothing to help us survive"

"Do I look like I care about that?... Do you even understand what he'll do if he finds me in heat? What he'll do to you when yours finally comes?... It'll be worse than any belt or punch, trust me"

The colour drained from Sera's face at Felicia's insinuation. Surely Dunhill wouldn't go that far? He was only interested in beating them senseless, he wouldn't be interested in either of them like that. Felicia seemed to read her thoughts from her expression alone as a bitter laugh broke passed her lips.

"You really are naive, aren't you? Did you actually believe that crap they teach you at school, that your first bonding with an Alpha would be all roses and rainbows? That he'd love you unconditionally and you'd have a happy ever after. It's a lie Sera! If we don't escape now, then both of our first heats will be nothing but rape"

Sera felt tears form in her eyes at the venom within Felicia's voice, the rage in her eyes as she forced herself into a more comfortable position against the bedroom wall. The notion of finding her prince charming had been the only dream that had helped Sera sleep at night, the hope that not all Alpha's were as twisted as Dunhill. But what if Felicia was right? What if the dream of finding true love in her life was nothing but a giant lie.

Her thoughts were interrupted as the sound of the front door being thrown open, slamming shut with a force that caused Sera to flinch. Felicia looked horrified, her eyes widening as she sent a frantic look towards the other Omega. It was too late for her now, she was sure, but she could still save Sera.

"Get out Sera. Run and never look back... Please, don't let him destroy both of us"

Footsteps could be heard running up the stairs, heading for the room that both Omega were within. She couldn't leave Felicia behind, the thought would never cross her mind no matter what danger they were in. But her body moved on its own as she moved to hide in the wardrobe and watched through a crack in the door as Dunhill barged into the room, a deranged look within his eye as he flashed his teeth in a sickening smile.

"well if the little Omega hasn't gone into heat... Can't say I've not been looking forward to this"

Sera watched as he made to advance upon Felicia, his hands moving to undo the belt around his waist, to pull down the zipper of his trousers. She could feel a black shroud coming over her mind, her own hands beginning to wander in search of a weapon. Hell would freeze over before she let him take away the last virtue Felicia thought she had. Felicia had told her to run, but that had stopped being an option the day she had taken care of her injuries after her own first beating. She'd never run if it meant leaving her sister behind.

Her hand wrapped tight around a firm object, the small amount of light allowing her to realise that she clutched a baseball bat as she made to leave the wardrobe, the sound of Felicia trying to fend off her attacker as Sera snuck up behind the Alpha, his lust filled brain not even processing the second Omegan scent that filled the room.

"Get the FUCK away from her!"

The bat swung down hard, both Omega staring in shock as Dunhill collapsed to the floor with a heavy thud. Sera could feel the colour drain from her face as the bat joined the body on the floor as Felicia moved to check for a pulse, sweat brimming her forehead as she fought to calm down her own racing emotions. The heat was starting to subside, but it had done it's damage.

"Oh god, I killed him! I'm a murderer"

"Calm down, he's not dead, just unconscious"

Felicia forced herself to stand, her legs wobbling slightly as Sera moved instinctively to support her as the blond scanned the Alpha at their feet with an expression that sent a shiver up Sera's spine. Cold and calculating, like she was simply looking at a puzzle that needed to be solved, a puzzle that she seemed to have given thought too before any of this had ever happened.

"Grab a rucksack and pack it with the essentials. Some clothes and any food that won't spoil too soon. Don't worry about money, I'll sort that out"

Felicia moved away carefully before setting about her task, Sera following her instructions as she grabbed a bag for each of them and began shoving clothes inside, leaving the room and watching wide eyed when Felicia shut the door and secured it with a chair wedged beneath the handle.

"What are you planning Fliss?"

"I've been planning on us running away for a while now, I just didn't quite think the chance would come like this though. I know where Dunhill keeps the money he stashes, just go sort out the food like I said, I'll meet you outside when I'm done"

Felicia watched as Sera ran into the kitchen as a slow smile began to reach across her face. They would finally be free, free to live without fearing another beating. But how could she make sure that the Alpha never attempted to find them and exact revenge for this act. Her eyes roamed around as she descended the stairs and continued to weigh up their options before finally settling upon the cans of gasoline beside the front door.

"Perfect"

She ran into the kitchen, grateful to see that Sera had left and was moving to the end of the yard as she moved a chair to reach the fire alarm. She didn't want Sera to be too involved with this. Her hands would have enough dirt on them for simply knocking the Alpha out. No, this was something Felicia would do alone. She removed the batteries, throwing them to the side, before moving to grab the first can of fluid.

Sera watched from the end of the yard as the figure of Felicia appeared every so often through the separate windows of the house. What was she doing? She seemed to be moving quickly, scattering something around the house before finally leaving through the front door with a trail of clear liquid being poured behind her.

"Fliss, what are you doing?"

The scratching of a match sparking against its box was the only warning Sera was given before the flame was thrown into the entrance of the house and fire began to spread rapidly through the building. Sera looked on in shock as it suddenly seemed to click within her mind. Felicia had been spreading the gasoline by the front door. Felicia was going to wipe out the threat of Dunhill from their lives permanently.

"There's nothing I wouldn't do to protect you Sera... Even if I have to bloody my hands to achieve it"

She moved to stand beside Sera as tears threatened the younger Omegas eyes, clutching her hand tightly as they watched the flames together.

The heat was intense, uncomfortable against their skin as they watched the flames from a relatively safe distance, causing a tingling sensation to course across their flesh. Neither could not move away, did not want to move, eyes transfixed upon the sight before them as they clutched each other's hand a little tighter.

Felicia should have felt horrified at their actions, ashamed that either of them could resort to such drastic behaviour. But all she felt was relief washing over her as the roof timbers began to fall and the building began to cave in slowly, a feeling of finally being safe gripping her heart.

"What if someone finds us Felicia?"

"We'll be long gone by then... The only good thing about this place was that it was in the middle of nowhere"

Sera gave a vague nod and squeezed Felicia's hand a little tighter, a small reassurance for both girls until a scream ripped through the flames and captured their ears. Eyes trailing up to the top floor window, the shadow of a man could be seen as he flailed and fought a losing battle against the inferno of his own death. Felicia smiled, slow and menacing as she watched him, allowing Sera to hide her face in her shoulder. He was gone from their lives, along with the memories that the house had held for the two young Omega. It was his fault Felicia could find no joy in her own biology, resenting the idea of any alpha ever becoming her mate. It was his fault that Sera was such a nervous teen and couldn't find her courage anymore.

He was meant to look after them, a foster father until they could go out into the world alone and find their own way. Alpha's were meant to protect Omega's, so why had he subjected them to mood dictated beatings, tortured them with their worst fears and then pretended to be a perfect role model to the rest of the world. Well no more. She'd help Sera find herself again and they'd look after each other, just like they had always done.

"We'll be OK... It'll be hard but anything's better than staying here"

The girls turned, their few possessions flung over their shoulders in rucksacks and hands still clasped together in a silent show of solidarity and joint strength, heading towards the nearest bus stop. The screams continued to dance within Felicia's mind long after they had left the burning house behind and feeding her desire for both she and Sera to become more than just a weak little Omega with nothing to their name. With the death of their foster father, a fate he deserved even if it had been an accident, they would be reborn.

Sera woke with a violent start, sweat coating her skin as she fought to bring her breathing under control, pupils dilated with fear as the dream continued to burn across her mind. What the hell had that dream just been?

She shut her eyes once more, pressing the palms of her hands against the sockets in a desperate attempt to purge the dream from her mind. All of the dreams, every one that she had had since coming to this bizarre coma dream, had been too real and too close to the bone for Sera's liking. She couldn't remember much of her childhood, but with every dream that came to her in the night, a new piece of the puzzle seemed to fit into place.

She had been in care as a child, had met Felicia in those years whilst under the care of an abusive foster father. But why was she only remembering any of this now? Tears began to well up within her eyes as the truth began to make sense and she realised just how deep she was in.

"Does Fliss realise this is all real?"

Her musing was cut short as a knock resounded from the bedroom door and Will's voice drifted through to her ears.

"Sera, are you all right? I heard you crying... Can I come in?"

Wiping her eyes quickly, Sera gave the Alpha the all clear to enter the room. She couldn't let him know that she had realised the truth, that would take away the only advantage she had in this giant fuck up. The best chance she had now was to get back in contact with Felicia, discover how much she knew and begin to work together towards regaining what was left of their lost memories.

"Sorry, just a nightmare"

She watched as he moved to sit at the edge of her bed, eyes filled with concern as he tried to smile at her. Perhaps he should tell her about the text he had received from Hannibal only an hour before? Maybe that would be enough to cheer her up.

"I know it's really difficult right now sweetheart. You're still recovering slowly and nothing makes any sense after being separated from Felicia. But if it makes you feel any better, Hannibal has invited us for a small dinner party in two weeks. There won't be many people there, just us two, Hannibal and Felicia, as well as Jack and Alana, and a few others"

The alarm sirens were ringing within Sera's mind as a small smile, innocent and happy, began to spread across her face. A dinner party at Hannibal's would mean a reunion with Felicia, a chance to share information and get onto the same page before taking their next step.

And how could she forget the little detail of her revenge. Hannibal had tampered in her life without reason too, in her opinion, had taken away her precious sugar. What better way to even the score than to tamper with his beloved dinner parties?
