The apartment felt empty and cold as Sera stared out of the rain spattered window, worry etched upon her mind and face as she searched the streets outside for any sign of her sister.

After nearly three years since Dunhill's death by their hands, Felicia had seemed to grow gradually more and more detached from the world around her, insisting upon the use of perfumes to mask the scent of both their true gender, giving the illusion of low grade Alpha females rather than that of two high level Omega, she rarely spoke to anyone other than Sera anymore unless she really needed too, refusing the friendship of any of her fellow psychology degree students in favour of her books and disappearing for hours on end each night after classes each night.

It was worrying, she didn't want to admit it but something was desperately wrong and Sera couldn't seem to get the truth from Felicia no matter how many times she would ask, the only reply being a simple 'it's nothing' as a maddening gleam entered the blonde Omega's eye. Maddening, and dangerous to boot.

Tonight was one of those nights. Six hours after she should have been home, Felicia was nowhere in sight. Sera sighed as she turned and picked her coat up from the sofa, intent on finding the other and getting some answers.

Shivering as the night air hit her face, she pulled her coat tight around her and began the search. Didn't she have enough to worry about? With her own degree course weighing on her mind, forensic science wasn't exactly something to be taken lightly or considered after a poor night's sleep, she really didn't need Felicia playing silly buggers with her. It sure as hell didn't help either that, if the papers were anything to go by, there was a killer loose on the streets.

"It's going to be a long night again"

Flick. Flick. Flick

Sera felt herself tense for a moment as she snapped from the memory, the lighter in her hand as she continued to flick the flint and watch as the flame died each time the only thing stopping her from flipping out in this moment. It probably should have worried her that the presence of the flame eased her fraying nerves slightly but, in all honesty, she couldn't have given anymore of a damn at that point.

It had been four days since the dinner party. Four damned days since her sister had gone into heat and, more than likely, succumbed to her baser needs for the cannibal that she shared living space with. Damn it! Didn't the woman have any consideration for her sanity? She could have at least stolen Hannibal's phone again to let Sera know she was alive and well.

"Sera, please, put the lighter down... You're making me nervous"

Will was sat at the other end of the living room, Wilson by his side as he petted the dogs head gently, his own method for calming his nerves beside the activity that Hannibal had introduced him too. He could feel the stress rolling from his Omega, feel her tension as she sent a sharp gaze towards him and all but threw the lighter away from her.

"What the hell am I supposed to do Will? Not a word from either of them! Hannibal usually has some dicky message to share or, knowing Felicia, has had his phone stolen to share the news! Nothing! Not a word!"

She was up on her feet as she continued her rant, pacing along the room as new and rapidly more horrifying images came to her mind. Wilson whined in shared distress as Will desperately thought of some way to calm Sera. Subconsciously, his scent began to reach out towards her, fresh pine and wild flowers reaching towards her as she began to slow in her movements, inhaling deeply as her mind provided her own scent to the mixture.

Unlike Hannibal and Felicia, with their combined scent of winter, Will and Sera mixed to make a perfect summers night, a warm fire burning amidst the pines to fight the small chill of the evening as fireflies and crickets created their music in the air. It was warmth, it was peaceful. Everything Sera could have dreamed of and more.

She relaxed slightly, subconsciously moving closer to Will and taking a seat beside him, resting her head against his shoulder as she swiped a weary hand across her own face. She really didn't need all of this worry on top of everything else. The flashbacks were starting to seep into her waking hours, she couldn't be one hundred percent certain that Felicia had realised the reality of their situation and now the other had gone AWOL on her.

Will smiled slightly at the small amount of intimacy between them as he placed a gentle kiss against the top of Sera's head.

"You always worry too much about her... You should know by now that if there's one thing Felicia can do, it's look after herself. Stop fretting, Hannibal wouldn't dream of hurting her no matter how much she pushes him, just like he wouldn't hurt either you or me"

Such a shame the same couldn't be said for the rest of humanity in Hannibal's eyes. The man really needed to improve his social graces in that aspect. Sera sighed heavily with a slight nod in agreement.

"I guess... Maybe I'm just worried that she hasn't remembered anything yet and still thinks she's stuck in a coma dream so isn't taking anything seriously. She didn't mention anything to me when we met up before the dinner party"

As she spoke, Will's cell phone buzzed within his pocket, catching the young Omega's attention as her eyes lit up with a small amount of hope as it buzzed a second time. Pulling it out of his pocket, her optimism was dashed to the rocks as Jacks name popped up as a text message.

'Another murder. Copycat or Alabama Arsonist, can't be sure. Have messaged Hannibal also. Get your ass to the lab now'

Although Sera couldn't quite understand it, a rage was ignited within the back of her mind, possessive and strong as the voice that resided there snarled threats and insults. What reason could she possibly have to feel anger or possession over this murder? In her own mind, she just couldn't put the pieces of the puzzle together.

She must have been walking the streets for an hour, always sticking to the busy areas to avoid being alone in the dark. The wind was growing harsher, a sharp chill running through her flesh as she came to a halt beside a block of offices.

"Where is she?"

She was starting to feel worried, horrific images playing across her over active imagination as she remembered the news reports of a killer roaming the streets of the city. What if Felicia had run into him on her way home this time? She shivered at the thought and prepared to continue her search, aiming to visit the bar that she had occasionally found the other drinking in some nights, always sat alone in the corner.

However, she was stopped in her motions as groaning came from the alleyway beside her, pained and fleeting as something forced her feet to move closer to the noise, blood freezing in her veins as the sight of a body, the life force ebbing from him as another stood above their victim. Blonde hair flicked outward with the wind as Sera's breath hitched in her throat, noticing the syringe that was held in the small, latex gloved hand as the murderer turned to meet her eye, ocean blue meeting Sera's own fear filled orbs.

"...Felicia..."
