Fingers danced along the column of her spine, talented and experienced as they sent chills of bliss along her flesh and caused goose bumps to spring up in their wake. There was a shyness within her that she knew she should have expressed as the firm body beside her own moved a little closer, but she couldn't bring herself to do so as they flipped through the leather bound photo album, listening casually as he explained certain ones and laughing every so often at others.

"It's strange. When I woke up from the coma without any memory of you to rely on, I never thought we'd end up like this... It's nice, I like it"

Hannibal smiled slightly, the only genuine smile he knew really how to give and only in the presence of a few select others. Running his hand through Felicia's blond tresses, working out the knots that had formed in her sleep, he couldn't help but agree more. He liked this too.

"All it took was time. You have not remembered everything yet, but it will come. For now, let us just enjoy this"

She nodded, flipping the page of the book once more and nearly dropping her jaw at the photo that caught her attention, pointing her finger at it like it had just mortally offended her.

"What the hell is that!?"

The photo in question would have been hilarious if not for the sinister presence in the background. It was of herself and Sera, a casual if not slightly menacing smile upon her lips as Sera looked to be having a fit as she faced away from the camera towards a horrifying clown in the background, waving at the raven and smiling menacingly just like Felicia seemed to be doing.

"Ah, I forgot that I had taken this one"

"That doesn't explain OR justify why IT is in a photo with me and my sister, who happens to be terrified of clowns!"

Hannibal let a low chuckle pass his lips, sending a shiver across her spine as he looked at the photo fondly before speaking.

"Sera always had a terrible habit of playing pranks on me every April fool's day. No matter where I am, she manages to get me. And never on a small scale either. This one particular year, I realised that pay back was due with interest and so I hired a clown to follow her for the entire day, not to make contact or get too close, just to stay in vision at all times if possible whilst every other person involved pretended that they couldn't see it... You were fully against the idea to begin with but then remembered the number of times that she had played her jokes on you also"

Felicia's eyes widened at his words, shocked to the core as she looked at him with a renewed perspective. Handsome, sinister, murderous, cannibalistic, intelligent and now, a bit of a joker to boot. That had been the last thing she was expecting as she flipped the page once more and shook her head laughing.

"I might need to relive that one memory next time she yanks our chain for fun"

There was a mischievous gleam in her eyes as she returned her attention completely back to the photo album as Hannibal returned to explaining each of the photos that caught her interest. He was so close to having the true Felicia back, so close to having his ice queen of death return to him once more. Just a few more of the right memories and everything would be perfect once more.

Their comfortable bliss was broken however as Hannibal's cell phone began to buzz on the bedside table, Jack's ID showing that the message was definitely not one that could be ignored.

'Hey Doctor, there's been another murder. We don't know whether it's a copycat or the Alabama Arsonist. I have messaged Will but we could really use your help here to ground him. Sera's tagging along so you should bring Felicia. They might be able to help in some way'

Felicia felt her eye twitch slightly, what the hell did Jack think she and Sera were? Children that couldn't be left alone! To hell with it, at least she'd see Sera. Maybe her sister could help explain why she felt a sudden build up of annoyance at the idea of a copycat committing the same murders as these 'Alabama Arsonists'? Because she really couldn't understand why it would tick her off this much.

"Guess we'd better get dressed and go then. Shame really, I was enjoying naked chill out time"

"...Felicia..."

She turned to face the trembling voice behind her, heart sinking slightly when she confirmed that it was Sera that had stumbled across her. Anyone else, she would have happily just dispatched of to cover her crime, but not Sera. She was the only person in the world that Felicia could ever care for.

"What are you doing here Sera... I told you I'd be home late tonight"

"I was worried about you, with the reports of a serial killer on the loose, so I came to look for you. I never thought that the murderer might have actually been you"

Their eyes met, gazing into the other as Felicia registered the mix of emotions upon her sisters face. Pain, sadness, anger and, most shocking of all, forgiveness. She couldn't understand it, Sera should have been running for her life to nearest police station, ready to hand in her sister that had taken the final step into darkness.

"I should have known something like this would happen eventually. Ever since Dunhill, I knew there was a madness still left in you. Just tell me why you do it, that's all I'm asking for"

The blonde frowned, looking down at the dying Alpha at her feet as the chemical continued to work its magic on him, freezing the blood in his veins and forcing the last breath from his blue tinged lips before scowling and baring her teeth at him. She didn't know which of them was the bigger monster anymore, her for concocting the method of her murder technique, or him for his own crimes against his fellow beings.

"Why did I do it? Simple, he's just like Dunhill. He goes out most nights, drinks himself into a stupor and then goes home to beat ten tons of shit out of his Omega. I've been following him for weeks, waiting till his mate had a solid alibi for protection before following him down this alley from his favourite drinking hole and sticking him with my needle. His freezing to death from the inside out"

Sera shuddered at the thought, fixing her eyes on the dying alpha. What was she meant to do? Report her sister and lose the only person that she really had in her life, or keep quiet and hope for the best? She took a deep breath as she came to her conclusion.

"We keep this between us, you never let this leak into our public lives and you make sure you take all the precautions you need too to make sure you don't get caught. Got that?"

Felicia nodded as Sera turned her back on her sister and made her way home, leaving the other to finish her crime and clean up the evidence. After all, she was no better than Felicia. Dunhill's death had sealed her fate as a murderer years ago.
