As Jackson honks his Range Rover from the ambulance bay, April rushes out of the Emergency Room at Seattle Grace Hospital, after being reassured by Owen that her ER would run without her for 10 days.

April blows her beloved ER a kiss as she hops into the passenger seat of Jackson's all black Range Rover, and turns around to say greet her kids- Samuel and Harriet. Samuel had just turned 7 years old, and was completely infatuated by his iPad and barely greeted his mom. April shook his knee and Samuel looked up from his iPad, his blue eyes that matched Jackson's sparkled.

"Mom!"

Samuel says, obviously excited to see his mom. Harriet, who had been 6 years old for a few months, was barely containing her excitement to see her mom.

"Mama! Mama! Mama!"

Harriet squealed, and April quickly unbuckled her seat to give her daughter a hug, and to fix her hair. For how good Jackson was at surgery, he could not tame Harriet's curls for the life of himself. April hadn't seen her children in nearly 48 hours, and was so excited to be spending 10 days with her favorite people. Within minutes, both Samuel and Harriet were fascinated by their iPads again.

"What am I, burnt toast?"

Jackson says, obviously teasing his wife.

"I saw you this morning, you goof!"

April says, and leans in to kiss Jackson as soon as the car pulls to a red light.

"Did you get all of the bags? I spent way too long packing them three nights ago for you to leave them at home."

April says, remembering packing them at 2am a few nights back. April didn't trust Jackson with picking out clothing for anyone, so she always leaves out plenty of clothes for everyone.

"All like 10 of them? Yeah, I did. Nearly broke my back doing it though."

Jackson says, obviously teasing his wife. April lightly punches him in the air, and turns around to see Harriet fast asleep, and snoring too, like her dad. Just as April was about to tell Jackson about the bloody details of the trauma that kept her at the hospital, she hears Samuel lightly snoring in the back.

"These are so Jackson's kids."

April says, obviously not realizing that she said this out loud. Jackson looked at her quizzically, and April's hand immediately flew up to her mouth, realizing she had said what she was thinking.

"No, no, no. It's just that they're literally 6 and 7, and already snoring like truckers. Just like you, babe!"

April says, quickly justifying her statement.

"I don't snore!"

Jackson protests, and April raises her eyebrows, the same way she does when she can tell a patient is lying.

Samuel and Harriet nap for the rest of the car ride, and April and Jackson talk the whole time, because the two of them could talk forever and still never get bored of each other. The 2 hours in the car quickly fly by and before they know it, they are pulling up to "Ski Chalet" in Stevens Pass, Washington.
