Chapter 8: Going Against Nature
Somewhere within the Alola Region, where Tapu Koko's shrine lies. A sound of Pokémon clashing can be heard, with intensity in the sound of clashing between attacks, as explosion was also seen on the scene making every nearby Pokémon run away in fear of getting caught in it.
At the scene of the battle, a Mienshao slammed its knee glowing white into a Golisopod chin, sending the Hard Scale Pokémon flying miles backwards to his Trainer, as he slowly got up.
"Golisopod!" Guzma yelled in concern.
"Mienshao, use Aerial Ace." Ash ordered sternly, not giving Guzma a chance to counterattack.
Mienshao's hands and legs immediately took up a glow of white light, as it changed at Golisopod who gave up all stances of attack in order to go into a full defensive stance, as he guarded his body with his own hands, blocking all hits from Mienshao from every single angle with his diamond hard body. The Martial Arts Pokémon, however did not give up, as it manages to send Golisopod flying again back to Guzma.
"Hmph, pathetic." Ash mocked, with Guzma growling in anger.
"Oh yeah?! Use, Liquidation!" The former Team Skull Boss ordered.
Golisopod slot his right hand in between his left waist and hand, before creating a blade made of water. After constructing his blade, Golisopod immediately charged at Mienshao, and without receiving any orders from its Trainer to dodge, the Fighting type Pokémon leaped into the air, before stabilising itself on Golisopod's blade of water with its right hand.
Ash watches as Mienshao fought with Golisopod, while the Martial Arts Pokémon was battling against Golisopod with relatively to pure ease. He remembered what brought him back to Alola in the first place, after his previous and only failure since capturing Squishy and Z2.
(Few Hours Prior to Start of Chapter)
A few days after failing to capture Squishy and Z2 and calling for a retreat back to base, Ash's ship landed back in front of a relatively large building as his henchmen and himself stepped out of said transportation vehicle, before walking into the building and into his room. After reaching a rather big room where several task and contracts laid on the wall with their assigned dates, as a man walked into the room where Ash looked at him.
"Sir, we have a few new news to report!" The man told him, while saluting.
"Speak, and don't you dare say anything that's worthless." Ash demanded, as the man lowered his hand before opening a documented file.
"The Shiftry and Jolteon we got recently were sold for a huge sum of money, and our hunting team has recently reported that they had captured a oddly colored Kabutops that might sell for quite the cash, and requested if you could check it." The man reported.
Ash then looked at Absol from the corner of his eye, as the Disaster Pokémon got up from its seat before walking out of the door, with most if not all of the henchmen getting out of its roadway in order to avoid a unfortunate conflict with the Disaster Pokémon at all cost. While Absol went to check on the hunting teams captured Pokémon, another man entered the room with what seems to be a transmitter on hand.
"Sir, we have a client that wishes to speak to you personally. It doesn't seems like, he wants to speak with us." The henchmen reported, as Ash tapped the table with his fingers.
"Leave it here, I'll see who has the guts." Ash ordered.
The man placed down the transmitter before walking out of the room with a salute, and right after the henchmen was out of sight. Ash pressed the button on the transmitter, as it projected out a screen revealing Giovanni's face, with a evil smirk paste across his face.
"I have a job for you, if you're interested." Giovanni told the former Trainer.
"Unless it has good pay, I don't care. So, what is that job you're talking about?" Ash retorted quite harshly.
"The job is quite simply or at least for you. I want you to capture or at least get a sample of each Guardian Deity of the Alola Region, even if it's just the sample, you'll be paid the usual price. So, are you interested?" Giovanni described the job to Ash, who merely chuckled darkly.
"Sounds easy enough, fine. You'll have your samples when I'm done with this job, after all, we both want what benefits us both." Ash accepted, as Giovanni laughed on before hanging up the call with a smirk on his face.
After ending his transmission, Ash push the transmitter to the center of the table before getting up from his chair, and at the exact moment he did, Absol entered the room before nodding its head positively after its exploration to the hunting teams cages of captured Pokémon's.
"I take it that they are worth the catch?" Absol nodded at Ash's words, as the former Trainer nodded.
"We got another job to do, get Mienshao and Regice to meet Salamence and I outside." Absol immediately ran off to another part of the building without complying, as Ash walked outside.
Upon reaching outside, Salamence woke up from its nap as Ash tossed the Dragon Pokémon five Sitrus Berries, which it caught with its mouth as it begin to munch down on its treat. Ash and Salamence waited for Absol's arrival with the two Pokémon for ten minutes, as they finally came running, though oddly enough, despite Ash having ordered Absol to get Mienshao and Regice, the ones who came out were indeed his Mienshao but beside the Martial Arts Pokémon wasn't Regice but Regirock.
"Why is Regirock here, Absol? Don't tell me you couldn't find Regice?" Ash questioned.
"Sol, ab, sol, Absol!" Absol told its Trainer with a few simple gestures of looking out for something and toppling over something.
"Alright, then I guess this will do. I'll brief you guys about our mission as we go, as for Regirock, I'll brief you there in Alola itself." Ash told them.
All four Pokémon roared out their own individual names, as Ash leaped onto Salamence back before being joined by Absol and Mienshao, as he recalled the Rock Peak Pokémon back into its Poke Ball, with Salamence flying off when he was done.
(Current Time)
After his thoughts were finished, Mienshao managed to kick Golisopod aside with barely any scratches as Guzma growled in anger of having being beaten by a person he didn't know, all because Ash was disguised by wearing his goggles and current attire.
"Is this the one who guard Tapu Koko can do? You're even more pathetic then the midget who guarded Tapu Fini." Ash mocked, causing Guzma to be even angrier then before.
Though, before Guzma could order an attack, an arrow flew out of the forest as it flew a circle around Mienshao, before impaling itself onto the ground, suppressing its shadow preventing Mienshao of all available movements.
"Spirit Shackle…" Ash spoke in an unamused tone.
"Guzma, are you alright?!" An elderly voice came, causing both people to turn their heads.
The ones who came running were an elderly man with a Hariyama by his side to the right, and a more younger generation of him by his side to the left and to the right of that boy, was a Decidueye, who prepared another arrow just in case Mienshao is available to move again.
"Old man Hala, Hau!" Guzma called out.
"Hariyama, use Arm Thrust!" Hala ordered.
Hariyama nodded as he charged at Mienshao with his large palms glowing white, before thrusting his right palm towards Mienshao who guarded itself and was send a few feet back towards Ash's location, as it snapped the arrow connecting to its shadow, freeing itself from the binding of Decidueye's Spirit Shackle.
"So, I see that you've finally came, but you're too late." Ash said darkly with a grin.
Hala and Hau wasn't sure about what was going on, until a huge explosion came from the shrine itself. The two newly arrived person turned their heads to see Tapu Koko flying out of its own shrine, as a Regirock too walked out, before preparing another Zap Cannon.
"Decidueye, stop that Regirock with Leaf Blade!" Hau ordered urgently.
"Deci!" Decidueye nodded.
The Arrow Quill Pokémon immediately flew into the sky as his hand turned into a green crescent blade, before diving down towards Regirock's location. However, before Decidueye's attack could make contact with Regirock's hand, an Absol leaped out from the shrine before slamming its right paw radiating a black blade into Decidueye's side, forcing the Grass and Ghost Type backwards, with Regirock launching its attack.
As Ash watch the Zap Cannon fly towards a weakened Tapu Koko, Guzma's Golisopod leaped pass his head, before using its hand as a shield to block the attack, causing a huge explosion to occur, as Golisopod was hit by a Super Effective attack.
"Golisopod!" Guzma called out in concern.
The smoke cleared out to see a Golisopod kneeling on the ground, as he let his hands down before collapsing onto the floor, with a loud crashing sound, with Guzma running towards his partner Pokémon in distress.
"Pathetic, using yourself as a shield when you're blocking a useless fool." Ash insulted with mockery, as Guzma glared at him with anger in his eyes.
"Why you…" Guzma growled lowly.
Ash then diverted his eyes back towards Hala and Hau, as Hariyama was having a hard time fighting against Mienshao, since Mienshao was more or less able to effortlessly dodge the Arm Thrust Pokémon's attacks with its high flexibility.
"Absol, hurry it up. We don't have all day here." Ash told the Disaster Pokémon.
Absol nodded as it created a claw of dark energy before walking towards the immobilised Tapu Koko, as it raised its hand above the fallen Deity. Though before Absol could strike down upon the Land Spirit Pokémon, a wave of stars flew towards Absol, as the Disaster Pokémon swipe at the attack, as it exploded forcing it off Tapu Koko's body.
"Tch, what now?!" Ash growled.
"I hope I'm not late, Hau, Mr. Hala." The voice called out in concern.
Ash glared a the newly arrived Trainer, who was revealed to be Ilima and his Eevee, as the Evolution Pokémon growled at Absol and Ash.
"Just one bug after another, truly annoying." Ash said with pure annoyance in his voice.
"Sol!" Absol called to Ash who turn his head.
The Pokémon Hunter adjusted his goggles to see that Absol had acquired some of Tapu Koko's DNA on its right claw, as Ash waved his hand to all of his Pokémon out on the field.
"We're leaving, our objective here is done." Ash ordered.
Before Ilima could take action, Salamence swooped down from the skies as Absol, Ash and Mienshao leaped on top of the Dragon Pokémon, with Ash recalling Regirock back into its Poke Ball, as the Dragon and Flying Type flew off to parts unknown, before gaining entry into a ship which was invisible in the sky, as Ash look at Isel after he had gotten off his mode of transportation.
"Get the Tapu's DNA off Absol's Claw, and contact our client that the samples have been collected." Ash ordered.
"Yes, sir!" Isel saluted.
Absol soon followed Isel to another room to get the DNA off its claw, as Ash went to the main room before sitting on the chair, as he glance at one of his henchmen in front of him.
"I hope your brought the product, that the client ordered." Ash said demanding, as the henchmen saluted.
"Yes, sir. It's in the holding chamber, waiting to be sold off." He told the latter.
Ash didn't even bother nodding as he looked straight at the front, before looking at the pilots at the front of his seat.
"Get to Hoenn and find our client this instant, the faster we get this deal done, the faster we can complete the other." Ash ordered.
"Sir!" The pilots yelled in sync.
The ship Ash was in flew away while being invisible, as the pilots moved it to the direction of Hoenn, as Ash stared at the screen before closing his eyes to remember what he considered as he former friends said to him, during their previous encounters.
"What happened to you, Ash?! Can't we talk this out?" Professor Sycamore's words rang in his head.
"But the Ash I know would never do this!" Lillie's words was the next to ring in his head, as he clenched his fist rightly.
"What do you mean that grave is Pikachu's? Tell us!" Kukui's voice rang in his head as the third.
"Why are you doing this, Ash? Aren't we friends!" Lillie's reason again rang in his head, as he clench his fist tighter.
Isen and Lisha stared at the slowly angered Ash as the two of then stepped away, every single henchmen who entered, slowly backed away from the angered Ash as some took a big circle in order to not get in his way.
"What friends?!" Ash growled in his mind.
"What do they know?! They didn't know how I felt, nor do they know what I went through!" He growled out, while slamming his fist into the glass container to his right.
The noise made every unexpected henchmen jump, as none of then dared to turn around to look at their boss, since none of them wanted to feel his wrath.
"Sir, please calm down." Lisha said to Ash, as he glared at her making her flinch.
"Forget about it, Lisha." Ash responded, calming a bit of his rage.
"How far are we from Hoenn!" He demanded.
A pilot at the front opened the map to see their location as he begin to observe their directions and estimated time of reach, before turning ground to look at Ash.
"Sir, we will most likely reach Hoenn in approximately 35 minutes from now." The pilot answered.
"Good, keep it that way. If possible, I want you to reach Hoenn on 20 minutes." Ash ordered.
The pilots said nothing as they hasten the speed of the ship in order to reach their destination faster, and as they move, Ash continued to observe the outside world, before looking back straight.
Meanwhile in Hoenn, May and Max were going home when a huge gust of wind blew by them. May and Max looked up to see nothing in particular in the skies that could blow such a wind as Ash looked at the land below his ship from the screen that was displaying nearly everything. Though, the sight of May and Max didn't really bother him as he scoffed loudly, as his ship continued to the shore of the Hoenn Region.
"Sir, we've reached our destination. Would like us to land the ship to collect our money, or would you like to go there yourself personally?" A pilot questioned, to be what seems to be a standard procedure.
"I'll go there personally myself, you guys watch the ship and make sure nothing happens." Ash responded.
As he picked the cage which contained the product which his client has ordered, as he walked to the cargo. While Ash walked towards the cargo, the henchmen alongside Lisha, Isel and Roscer saluted as Ash threw out Salamence's Poke Ball before leaping onto the Dragon Pokémon's back, before flying off on Salamence's back towards the collection point.
While Ash flew in the air, he mysteriously appeared in the sky, being noticed by Max and May with a cage on hand, as the Dragon Pokémon soared through the sky quickly.
"Hey, isn't that Ash?!" May yelled, loud enough so that only Max could hear.
"Where?" Max was answered when May pointed at the sky.
The siblings nodded to on another as they quickly followed Ash, who didn't really seen to be bothered by their effort, as he calmly flies through the sky. Only after reaching their collection point, Ash landed on the ground as he leaped off his mode of transportation, as a man wearing a black outfit appeared with a suitcase on his hand.
"I've brought the product, you better have the money ready by now." Ash started the conversation harshly.
"There's no need to rush, if you like you can count the cash here now." The man told him.
The former Pokémon Trainer took the suitcase before opening it up, to see a whole stack of cash inside. Max and May soon arrived at the scene, where Ash had already closed the suitcase right as Salamence threw the cage to the man, who opened the top to reveal a Blaziken sealed within, with a large grin on his face.
"This is fantastic, Hunter Wraith. This Blaziken is indeed a top product." He commented, as Ash scoffed.
"Though, there is still one more job I have for you, if you're interested." He added, catching Ash's attention.
"What is it? If the job is for a handyman, get yourself one." Ash retorted harshly.
The man then took out a tablet before handing it to Ash who scrolled through it, on the tablet displayed a Kyogre in both normal and Primal Form, causing Ash to grin widely at the new job he had received, before handing the man back his tablet.
"The price of your job will be ten times more then when I bought your product, so, are you interested?" He asked with a smirk.
"Alright, you'll have your Kyogre. I was wanting to go and get it anyways, but since it's a job, you get to keep it." Ash complied with a dark smile.
As the two of them disperse towards their own directions, May and Max came out of hiding once the two were sure they are gone from view.
"That's my Blaziken, how dare he!" May screamed in anger, before breaking down in tears at her stolen Pokémon.
"It's alright, sis. We got a good look of who was the one who bought your Blaziken, we should report this to the authorities." Max reassured.
May nodded slowly as she got back up on her feet, as the two of them ran back to town in hopes of getting her Blaziken back. Meanwhile, Ash had returned to his ship before going into the main control room, as he sat down on his chair while looking at every henchmen in front of him.
"Contact Giovanni, tell him that we have his DNA samples and it will be delivered tomorrow afternoon at Johto." Ash demanded, making Lisha look at him with confusion.
"Sir, why aren't we doing the deal today? Isn't it in your policy to complete the jobs that came first?" She asked, making Ash chuckle.
"We received another job right here in Hoenn, Lisha. Tell your men that we need the gear to go Kyogre hunting." He responded.
Lisha nodded as she walked out of the control room with Ash taking out a Poke Ball from his belt, as Nathan walked into the room before handing Ash a tablet, as the Pokémon Hunter took it into his hand to see a chart of information.
"Sir, as you suspected previously before capturing it for yourself. The client was arrested just days before our deal was made, and we have already "taken" care of it." He told his leader, as Ash smirked coldly.
"Too bad for him then, his lost is our gain, because of his job, I got myself a rather good catch." He chuckled.
As he continued to look at the front of his ship, the floating vehicle suddenly stopped midway as a henchmen turn around before saluting to him.
"Sir, as ordered received from you, we have arrived at the ocean near Hoenn's coastline." He told the Pokémon Hunter.
"Good, stay here and look after the ship. Tell Lisha to meet me at the cargo with the equipment." He demanded.
The henchmen quickly returned to his seat to contact Lisha, as Ash walked out of the room towards the cargo to find Salamence taking a rest right before opening its eyes when it noticed its Trainer approaching as it got up from its slumber, getting itself ready for a new job that was going to come, until Lisha entered the cargo with a box in her hand.
"Sir, the items you have requested are here, all are accounted for." She told him, with Ash nodding his head.
"Good, I'll leave you and Nathan in charge of things while I'm gone, Lisha." He responded, while taking the box off her hand.
Lisha and the henchmen within the cargo saluted as Ash got onto Salamence who flew off into the open, leaving the ship once again to find their prey, who was lurking in the waters beneath them.
Meanwhile with May and Max, the two of them were accompanied by three officers led by Officer Jenny as the officer turn her head to the two young Trainers.
"Are you sure he was here?" She asked, making them nod their heads.
"We're sure officer, we saw him making a deal with Pokémon Hunter Wraith himself in person." Max answered.
The five of them continued to look through the area, until the bush near them started to rustle loudly catching them off-guard, right as a Mightyena leaped out to attack them, grazing May's arm in the process as the man walked out with a huge grin on his face.
"I see you've been following me around, Hunter Wraith may not care about you, but your sneaky nature is rather annoying." He grinned, only for May to glare at him.
"Give me back my Blaziken!" She demanded, causing the man to laugh loudly.
"Yours? I've already bought it from the market so it's mine now, but if you have the talent to bark, then at least have the decency to bite. Go, Mightyena!" He yelled, enabling the Bite Pokémon to leap forward to attack the group of people.
Back with Ash, the Pokémon Hunter flew on Salamence as he took out a small phone-like device before staring at it. On said device shows a plus sign with multiple colored circles with each ticks, until Ash saw a dark blue signal appearing as he chuckled.
"Salamence, it's time to get to work!" Ash yelled, as Salamence nodded.
Ash's Salamence then charged up an orange orb in his belly before launching it into the sky, as it shattered into dozens of pieces which fell into the ocean with a loud explosion, causing every Pokémon inside the sea to run off away in fear. Though, it was until a huge blue Pokémon appeared from the sea as it glared at the Pokémon Hunter, who smirked back.
"Now, let's get to work!" Ash yelled as he threw a Poke Ball into the sky.
Out at the open sea, Lana, Misty, Tracey, Cilan and Brock were out at sea, as Kukui was piloting their boat. The girls were fishing while Tracey was sketching, whist Brock and Cilan were preparing lunch for the group, though there was silence until Misty broke it.
"Who would have thought that Ash would be like this because of us." She sighed sadly.
"As long as you know your wrong, it's fine. The better question is, how are to going to bring him back? Lana responded, before pulling up her rod to see a Magikarp.
"True. The authorities told us to let them handle it, though I doubt Ah be that dumb." Tracey added his sentence to the conversation.
The group of three sighed loudly, there was nothing they could do to help their friend much less the one they had broken so badly to the point of insanity. Now that Ash was a Pokémon Hunter, it was nearly impossible for them to stop him even with their combined effort in a battle.
"We just got to do what we got to do, when we see him, we fight and if we lose we'll just keep trying." Misty said with enthusiasm.
"Right!" Lana and Tracey shouted.
Brock and Cilan soon came out from the innards of the boat with a few trays on hand as they laid it down on the table for them to eat.
"Guys, it's time to eat!" Brock shouted.
"Alright, let's eat first, then we'll figure out how to stop Ash." Tracey told the girls who nodded.
The three immediately went to eat with Kukui joining them, as the six of them started to enjoy their food. Though, while they were enjoying their food, a huge rain started to pour down over their heads, making them raise an eyebrow at the sudden change of weather.
"I thought it was sunny just now, why the sudden rain?" Brock asked in wonder.
"Though, doesn't this look like Drizzle?" Kukui added.
Soon enough, a Kyogre leaped out of the water over their boat as it dove back into the ocean as a purple beam cut through the surface of the water, blasting the boat to the side making them hang onto their boat tightly in order not to get thrown overboard.
"What was that?! Wasn't that a Kyogre that just leap by?" Lana screamed.
While they were recovering from the attack, a huge green serpentine Pokémon flew by over their heads dispersing the clouds above the sky, as a Salamence followed it from behind with Ash riding on his most trusted mode of transportation.
"That's a Rayquaza, and that's Ash's Salamence!?" Cilan yelled.
"Quick, we need to follow them. Everyone, hold on tight!" Kukui responded.
As Kyogre continues to flee, Ash and his Pokémon continue to chase the Sea Basin Pokémon, as it turned around before summoning four blue orbs as each orb fired a light blue beam at them. Rayquaza and Salamence were able to effortlessly avoid the incoming attack as Ash chuckled at Kyogre's effort to hit them off the sky.
"Rayquaza, Salamence. Use Hyper Beam!" Ash ordered.
Both dragons immediately opens their mouth to summon a purple orb before firing off a devastating purple beam at Kyogre simultaneously, as it quickly dove into the sea in order to avoid the attack. The attack however sliced through the sea like butter as the Water Type Legendary Pokémon was bust out of the water.
"Salamence, Dragon Pulse!" Ash commanded again.
Salamence again charged up an orb in its mouth, but instead of purple the orb was multicolored, as the Dragon Pokémon fired off a beam which took the form of a dragon as the attack raced towards Kyogre who's eye glowed in a blue blink, as a huge pillar of ice was made from the splashing water, which totally blocked off Salamence attack completely.
The Sea Basin Pokémon who was too focused on Salamence, was suddenly hit from the back by Rayquaza who's body was taking up a shape of a spear in a light green glow, as the Sky High Pokémon brought Kyogre away with its attack, with Salamence following suit from behind them as they raced towards an island.
On the island where Ash raced towards, the rest of his former friends except Serena, May and Max were, Kiawe set up a long table for Clemont to place down the food they were going to use for lunch as Mallow already laying down the dishes she made for the entire group of hungry people.
"I wonder what Ash is up to now." Iris voice with wonder.
"I bet his going around the world poaching Pokémon, and even if we know where he is, there's nothing we can do." Kiawe responded with dejection.
The one's who weren't involved in breaking Ash had tried their hardest to reason with the latter to no avail, and those who broke him knew their mistakes but were already too late to do anything, since Ash had already changed completely.
Their thought however, were broken when a fast object rushed by them sending everything they had laid down flying everywhere as the object hit a huge hill with a green object flying into the skies, as Ash's Salamence arrived on scene towards the hill where Rayquaza had slammed Kyogre into.
"Wasn't that, Ash?! What is he doing now?!" Bonnie screamed.
Kukui's boat immediately arrived as the six people leaped off the boat with Brock running towards the group in a hurried manner, as he looked at them.
"Has Ash passed through here yet?" He was answered when Lillie pointed at the hill where Ash went towards.
The group immediately wasted no time as they quickly ran towards the location where Ash went towards, at the same time they did, Salamence landed on the ground as Ash leaped off the Dragon Pokémon to look at the severely injured Kyogre who was groaning in pain.
"We finally have you down and ready for capture." Ash smirked before taking black sphere with a button on the top.
He raised his hand to throw the device, but before he could a rock hit his hand launching the device away from his hand as a Lyranroc rushed by the take the object even further away from the Pokémon Hunter, making Ash growl in anger as he turned around to see who had interfered with his work only to see several old faces, making him make a noise of annoyance.
"Tch, you idiots don't know when to give up, don't you?" He hissed with dark venom in his voice.
"So what if we don't know when to give up? We're going to stop you every time we see you." Clemont retorted.
From the corner of his eyes, he could see Lyranroc running back to Kukui's side as Misty and Cilan threw their Poke Ball into the sky, calling out Gyarados and Simisage respectively, with a loud roar from Rayquaza, as the Sky High Pokémon's presence shocked the gang being known as the few Legendary Pokémon that Ash had in his arsenal of Pokémon.
"Gyarados, use Hydro Pump!" Misty ordered.
The Atrocious Pokémon quickly fired a large jet of water at Ash's direction, as both Salamence and Rayquaza quickly flew to the side avoiding the attack, with Ash looking at the group beneath him, before smirking darkly.
"Rayquaza, Salamence, Hyper Beam!" He instructed.
Both the dragons in the air immediately charges up a purple orb, before firing it down upon the targets beneath them, causing a great deal of destruction in their wake of action, as the powerful Normal Type attack tore through the ground, destroying the surrounding area, while forcing Kukui and the rest to flee with their Pokémon in order to not be caught in both of their attacks, as Ash chuckled.
"This just made things more fun, when you dance around like a bunch of hopeless Skitty." Ash mocked, as a large stone flew by his head.
While the rock flew by his head, Ash wasn't the least intimidated by the effort of whoever launched the attack, as he tapped Salamence on the head with his feet, only for the Dragon Pokémon to charge up an orange orb in its stomach, before launching it into the air as it shattered into dozens of smaller pieces before raining down on Brock and the rest.
"Helioptile, use Parabolic Charge!" Clemont yelled.
The Generator Pokémon quickly leaped into the air while using Salamence's attack as a stepping stone, as he opened his frills before discharging a large amount of electricity at the two dragons in the air, only for Rayquaza to disperse the attack with its sheer power, shocking Helioptile at the failure of his own attack, as Ash smirked.
"Dragon Tail!" He commanded.
Rayquaza's tail soon turned green as it swat Helioptile from the air sending the Generator pummeling down to the ground, wounding the Electric and Normal Type Pokémon greatly as Ash looked at the group of people that were opposing him, before turning his head to the recovering Kyogre where Lana, Iris and Cilan were trying to treat its wound, so this the Sea Basin Pokémon can escape from his clutches.
"Aerial Ace." Ash commanded, confusing the people around him as none of the two dragons were taking action.
A silhouette soon leaped between Lana, Iris and Cilan as the figure drove its fist and leg through their abdomen sending them backward in pain, as the figure was revealed to be Ash's Mienshao who scowled at the three people who were trying to interrupt its Trainer's work, before getting into a battle ready position.
"Mienshao, make sure no one gets in our way, and Rayquaza, handle these bunch of fools." Ash ordered with demand.
Rayquaza immediately went to work as it rammed into Kukui's Lycanroc bringing the Wolf Pokémon to a nearby tree before flying off, as Ash and Salamence flew above the still injured Sea Basin Pokémon while taking out yet another of the same device, as his actions were immediately noticed by Mallow who quickly looked at her Pokémon.
"Tsareena, Trop Kick!" She commanded.
The Fruit Pokemon immediately leaped at Ash's direction, but before she could even reach the Kanto native, Mienshao swiftly got in front of the Grass Type Pokémon before using its hand to guard against Tsareena's attack, as it send the Fruit Pokémon to the ground with a hard kick to the neck, making the final evolved form of Bounsweet to hit the floor hard with a loud crashing sound which worried Mallow.
"Tsareena!" She yelled.
While the whole group of people were kept busy by Ash's Rayquaza with none getting by his Mienshao, Ash clicked the button on the sphere in his hand as he threw it above the Sea Basin Pokémon, with the object casting out a black net made of electricity as the net wrapped around Kyogre, severally damaging the Water Type Pokémon, only for Kiawe to growl.
"Stop! Can't you see you're hurting it?!" He roared furiously, only for Ash to chuckled darkly.
"So what if I'm hurting it? Does it look like I give a damn, the more it screams the more I WANT to hurt it." He laughed out sadistically.
As Kyogre was trapped in the black net, Ash looked up at the sky before raising his right hand, as a large rope dropped from the sky to hook up the net that Kyogre was in, as Ash was grinning darkly at the people before him.
"No matter how you try, and no matter how hard you fight, you will never win or stop me." Ash declared, before chuckling darkly.
"Even if you can't kill me to stop me, I won't hesitate to crush any of you with my own hands. Rayquaza, use Draco Meteor, you too Salamence!" Ash roared.
At the given signal, both Dragon Type Pokémon quickly fired an orange orb into the sky as the two spheres shattered apart to rain down dozens of rocks upon the group of people beneath him as Ash recalled Mienshao back into its Pokémon before flying off towards a direction, leaving behind the group of people that were seemingly buried underneath a bunch of debris behind, where smoke can be seen floating up in the air in the wake of the powerful Dragon Type attack.
After the attack had finally ended, Kukui's Lycanroc immediately threw a piece of the Draco Meteor attack off of himself before panting slightly, as Brock's Steelix rose from the ground successfully shielding Brock, Misty, Iris, Kiawe and Mallow from the impact, while a blue shield dispersed making the shattered pieces of the attack fall as Cilan's Crustle laid on the ground having successfully shielding Cilan, Lillie, Lana and Sophocles from the attack as Brock sighed dejectedly.
"Ash really has changed, he… didn't even hesitate." He said with disbelief.
"Is it truly impossible to bring the old Ash back?" Mallow responded with sadness.
The group who were still lucky to be alive sat at their individual spot as they wonder if it was truly impossible to bring the smile and humanity of their old friend back, while wondering what they should do next knowing that they couldn't even stop Ash from achieving his earlier goal as he defeated them so effortlessly.
Meannwhile offshore from Hoenn, Ash and Salamence entered his ship as he left the Dragon Pokémon in the cargo before making his way towards the main section of the ship with Mienshao, only to meet Lisha on the way to the room, as she saluted to him.
"Where did you put the Kyogre, Lisha?" Ash questioned.
"Kyogre is being detained in the containment as scheduled and is being watched over by Roscer and his team, so we shouldn't expect any failure from them." She answered.
"The client who we made contact with earlier was also arrested by the authorities, it would seem that the Trainer who followed you arrested him, although the Blaziken we sold was recaptured by Meo." She added.
Ash wasn't the least bothered that the man was arrested by the authorities but was quite impressed that "Meo" had recaptured their sold goods, though at the moment his only interest was in the capture of Kyogre, which would make him a big profit in the black market once sold, before walking down the halls with Lisha by his side.
"Anything else you want to report, Lisha?" He questioned in demand.
"Well, there has recently been a leak in information a few days ago, and we traced it back to the source of it all." She reported, not missing out a single detail, before clearing her own throat.
"The impersonator is currently being interrogated by Isel and the detainment team as we speak, it shouldn't be long until we receive all the information we need, sir." She added.
Ash chuckled with a dark smile at Lisha's report as the two of them entered the main room, with Ash sitting down on his chair as Absol walked up to him, with the Pokémon Hunter patting its head making the Disaster Pokémon coo in slight affection at the touch from its Trainer.
"Sir, what should we do about the client if he leaks any information about us?" A henchmen asked, only for Ash to eye at his direction.
"When Meo is done recapturing the Blaziken, tell her that if the client leaks anything, end him and make sure his mouth is shut." He ordered, as the henchmen saluted before leaving.
"But sir, what about those Trainer that keeps interfering with our work? Shouldn't we end them as well?" Lisha asked, only for Ash to chuckle coldly.
"They won't even have the guts to tell the authorities about me, much less do anything a little further from that. Besides, it's going to be annoying if I'm going to kill everyone I see, one is already hard, I don't need to add another ten or more into the list of idiots to kill." Ash answered, making Lisha nod her head.
Inside of the interrogation room, Isel was sitting on a wooden chair as he had his head on his hand while looking at the impersonator in front of his, as the man started to file his nail with a file he had in his hand, while looking at the impersonator.
"You're quite good, for an idiot." He remarked while smirking.
"You'd really think we're that stupid to not be able to tell who you are, even if you're dressed as one of us? " He added.
In front of Isel was a Looker in disguised as one of their henchmen as a Bisharp which presumably belonged to Isel walked around the injured International Police member, with its hand blade dropping with blood, with Isel looking at the injured International Police member.
"If you tell us who send you and what you're here for, I promise that your corpse will go back in one piece." Isel offered, only for Looker to chuckled weakly.
"You think I'm going to trust you, that easily? I'm a member of the International Police, there's no way I'd sell out my own comrades." He smirked, making Isel sigh.
"Suit yourself, I'll see how long you can last." Isel grinned sadistically.
As Bisharp once again plunged its arm blade into Looker's leg, the International Police member screamed in pain as Isel got up from his seat before looking at a nearby member who was by the table.
"Keep an eye on him, when I return, I want to hear what I want to hear, got it?" He demanded, while throwing the file on the table.
"Yes, sir!" The henchmen responded.
Isel then left the room for the main room in order to meet Ash, as an injured and mortally wounded Looker could only wheeze for breath as blood trailed down both his hands and legs, with Bisharp not giving him any time to recover, as the room was once again filled with Looker's scream when Bisharp repeated its previous motion.
Ash had captured a Kyogre and is now walking down an even darker path, can his friends help him get out of the path he is walking down upon?
Otherwise,
PEACE!
