Thank you everyone for reviewing! It does help my motivation, so please continue to review and leave comments. To clarify a few things...

- Jo and Lexie are best friends

-The actual characters/Adults are around the ages they are or would have been in season 10 (But the children's ages are set around season 18)

-Derek never went to DC in season 11, and Meredith had the time to let her career flourish, so she's happy to move to DC.

-I'm ignoring the plane crash, Calzona's cheating, Derek's accident, Samuel dying, etc. So basically it's a happy GA AU.

-All of the children who we never met on screen (Slexie's children and Jolex's children) are completely fictional and made up by yours truly

-Alexis and Eli Stevens don't exist in this story

I am going to try and update daily, and twice on the weekends.

Enjoy this chapter, it's more of an introduction to the children and a glimpse into the Adult's lives.

All of the kids practically grew up in the Seattle Grace Daycare center, so they all naturally have their built-in best friends.

Sofia and Zola were basically the same person, Bailey and Branden were nearly brothers, just like their fathers, Ellis and Harriet were both shy until they got comfortable so they naturally bonded, Alexa and Gracie, being born a week apart, were practically sisters and shared one personality, and Samuel and Ryler were both kids with hearts of gold and total sweethearts after they got to know you so they quickly became friends.

Just like their children, all the parents had their respective best friends.

Jo and Lexie were the best of friends, and basically were connected at the hip.

Mark and Derek consider each other brothers, so they tend to buddy off whenever they have to come to these events.

Arizona and April's reputation as the nicest two people at Seattle Grace hospital helped build their friendship, plus any friendship started in a supply closet is a great friendship.

Being the only two living guys from their residency class, Alex and Jackson were good friends, and after spearheading a major clinical trial in Pediatric Cleft Palates, they had become good friends.

Cristina was obviously Meredith's best friend, but she and Owen opted to visit Switzerland this holiday season so Meredith was left friendless.

"Okay, so I am assuming you all are that massive party from Seattle Grace?" The lobby manager asks, and greets Jackson and April first.

"Hi, it's a reservation under Avery. There's uh, four of us. Two adults and two children." Jackson says, pulling up the reservation details from his phone.

"I need some form of ID, from all of you adults!" The lobby manager tells everyone, wanting to get this done as soon as possible.

Jackson and April pull out their driver's license, and are handed the keys to their room. After saying hi to everyone, the four of them head up to their room.

"Next in line please?"

"Uh, hi! It's a reservation, under Grey?"

"Grey, Sloan or Grey, Shepherd?" "Grey, Sloan. It's 2 adults and 2 children as well again."

Mark and Lexie pull out their ID's and are handed the keys to their room. Their kids race Mark to the elevators, to see who can press the elevator button faster. Mark lets the kids win, and holds the door for Lexie.

"Next in line!"

"Hi! I believe the reservation is under Karev. Jo and Alex!"

"Show some ID please."

"Mommy, she's a total grumpus!"

"Oh my god, she didn't mean that!"

"Whatever. I need to see some IDs."

Jo and Alex, both still reeling with embarrassment from Grace's comment, show their drivers license. The lobby manager hands them the keys to their room, and Alex quickly ushers the kids away.

"Uh, hi. I think the room is under Grey? Grey- Shepherd, not Grey-Sloan."

"I need to see some form of ID."

Meredith and Derek both pull out their drivers license and are handed the keys to their room. Zola, Bailey, and Ellis hop on the elevator with Meredith and Derek tugging behind them each carrying multiple suitcases. They were leaving for DC in a few weeks, and the two of them were seeing this as a final huzzah with their Seattle Grace family.

"Hi! The reservation is under Robbins- Torres."

Arizona and Callie show their IDs.

"Just to confirm, you 3 are only here for 3 days, not 10 days?"

"Yup, we're headed down to Florida for some much needed sun after this."

The hotel clerk hands both Arizona and Callie keys to their room and the three of them hop into an elevator that had just opened up. When the families all arrived at their rooms, they were all shocked.

Some pleasantly shocked, others not so much.
