"Hey Mom, Mama? Can I go have a sleepover with Dad and Lex tonight?" Sofia says to her moms, wanting to spend some time with her dad.
Arizona looked at Callie, who shot her a "do we?" look. They came to a mutual agreement, and decided to let her. Callie quickly texted Mark, who responded with a thumbs up emoji.
Grabbing a pair of pajamas, a toothbrush, and an outfit for tomorrow. Callie and Arizona walked Sofia to Mark and Lexie's hotel room, and were greeted by Lexie at the door.
"Sof, hey! Alexa is anxiously awaiting your presence and wants to show you her bunk beds." Alexa squealed when she saw her big sister, who was like her favorite person in the world.
Lexie decided to come into the picture after Callie's car crash, not realizing how much she cared for a baby that had no DNA- similarities to her. Lexie loves Sofia, just as much as she loves Branden and Alexa. Seeing his oldest daughter, Mark goes in for a fist bump, before her hand is grabbed by Alexa.
"We'll see you at the christmas breakfast tomorrow morning!" Mark said, and Callie and Arizona were happily on their way.
"We have no kid, do you want to go out to dinner?" Arizona asks, tilting her head at Callie.
This sounded like a great idea to the two of them, who hadn't had a date night in what seems like forever. Callie and Arizona decide on Jane's, this Italian restaurant. The hostess gives them this table that gives a direct view of the mountains, and is light by cafe lights overhead. A waiter eventually comes over to the two women who order wine, feeling like they were on their first date again.
Arizona flashes her "super magic smile" as Callie once described it, and Callie tilts her quizzically.
"I just love you so much, Calliope." Arizona says, and Callie's smile somehow grows even bigger.
The rest of dinner flys by, and before they know it is nearly 11pm, they are just finally leaving the restaurant. Callie's phone begins to buzz with an alert saying "Incoming FaceTime call from Mark." Callie obviously answers, concerned about Sofia.
"Hey mom and mama! I just wanted to say goodnight!" Sofia says, before Mark peers over her shoulder.
After Arizona and Callie both, very drunkily, say goodnight, Mark grabs his phone and goes 'Torres, are you drunk?"
"She is. We are" Arizona says, struggling to walk straight.
"Okay, well, call me if you need me to pick you two teenagers up."
Eventually, the two of them make it back to the hotel and have a good old junior high make out session. From working today, all that driving, etc. the two of them were absolutely exhausted.
Separating their lips, the two of them get their pajamas on and crawl into bed. Bridesmaids, one of their favorite movies, is playing and the two of them fall asleep with it on in the background, living and loving the moment.
