Misty's mommy
A woman ride on a shiny Blastoise.
The woman is Genere Hydrolah, the mother of Misty.
Ginere is in Alola.
She use Water-types, just like Misty does.
"I wonder..." says Genere.
She's sweet, but she and her husband didn't feel like they were good enough and that's why they left their 4 daughter behind in Cerulean City in Kanto and went in search for fresh places.
Her husband Kendoro is dead, but Genere still is happy, focusing on what's positive in her life.
"Okay." says Genere.
Blastoise swim towards the shore.
"Alola, friend." says Kendra Niikudi when Genere and Blastoise reach the beach of Melemele Island.
"Hi, Kendra." says Genere.
Kendra is Genere's best friend.
"How's it going?" says Kendra.
"Very good." says Genere.
Genere hasn't had any contact with her daughters since she left them.
She sometimes think about trying to contact them, but she feel that they might not want to talk to her.
Also she's beautiful and has similarities to all 4 of her daughters, so her daughters has each recieved certain traits from her.
"I brought you a drink." says Kendra.
"Thanks. Sweet of you." says Genere.
"Yeah, of course. I'm a sweetie." says Kendra.
"Yeah, you are." says Genere.
Genere call back her Blastoise into a Dive Ball.
"Sometimes I wish I was a trainer like you, but I'm not strong." says Kendra.
"Perhaps so, but you mix drinks that taste wonderful." says Genere.
"Thanks." says Kendra.
"You're welcome, girl." says Genere.
Genere does a flip with her long black hair.
She is beautiful and attractive and a skilled Pokémon trainer and she use Water-types, just like her daughters.
2 days later, Genere visit the Ruins of Hope on Poni Island.
Genere pray to Tapu Fini.
"Noble tapu, watch over my sweet little girls. Well...I guess they're all women now, but still. I want them to be safe and happy." says Genere.
She truly wish her 4 daughters all the best.
"Yes." mumbles Genere.
The next day.
"Nice." says Genere as she sit and eat lunch outside her sweet Alola beach-house.
She's happy.
"I love the Alola region. So much better than old Kanto." says Genere, who love the tropical climate of Alola very much.
That is one of the reasons she moved there.
Another reason is that it is quite far from Kanto, ince she wanted to distance herself from her form home region.
Most of her Pokémon are still from Kanto though.
Even so, she has caught some Alola Pokémon as well.
"Yeah." says Genere as she put on her sunglasses.
Her Blastoise is down on the beach, training by knocking down wooden practice-targets.
Blastoise is the fully evolved form of her original starter, since she started with Squirtle as a kid and it is now her strongest Pokémon.
It is a male and has the nickname Rapidus because of how fast it was as a Squirtle and Wartortle.
As a Blastoise it is of course not as fast, but she didn't wanna confuse her favorite Pokémon by changing its name.
Genere still remember when she was first given her Squirtle back when she was just 10 years old.
To pick Squirtle was an easy choice for her, since Water has always been her favorite type.
She was a bit afraid that one of the other kids would pick it, but got s happy when it was still there when it was her turn to pick a starter.
Squirtle and Genere quickly became very good friends and it never failed to follow her orders.
With the help of her beloved starter, Genere managed to win 9 badges.
At the Indigo conference she made it all the way to 4th round, where she lost to another girl named Alexa Kirus who used a Raichu.
Genere was sad when she lost, but her mom comforted her.
Genere then went to Johto where she met the boy who'd eventually become her husband.
They met at the department store in Goldenrod.
She still remember exactly how they met.
It was one of the best days of her life when she met Kendoro.
They bonded over their common love for Water-types and Pokémon in general.
"Never can I love another man." says Genere.
Kendoro was her one true love.
She miss him a lot.
No one else could understand her like he did.
"He was the only man for me." says Genere.
She wish Kendoro was still alive.
"Hmm..." says Genere.
2 weeks later.
"Okay. I feel ready to visit old Kanto once more." says Genere.
She's decided to go back and visit Kanto a little bit and see what things are like there now.
After 3 weeks on a cruise-ship, Genere set foot in Kanto again for the first time in many years.
It feels weird to be in Kanto.
Genere step off the ship at the port in Vermilion City.
She walk to Cerulean City, her former home.
"The gym's still active, it seems." says Genere when she sees that the Cerulan gym is there.
Misty and her sisters sit outside the gym, eating lunch.
"Hello, girls." says Genere as she walk up to them.
Misty and her sisters get a little confused.
They don't recognize their mother.
"Uh...who are you?" says Misty.
"I am Genere Hydrolah." says Genere.
"Mom...?" says Misty and her sisters surprised.
"Yes, it's me." says Genere.
"Where have you been=" says Misty.
"Alola." says Genere.
"Is dad here too?" says Misty.
"No, girls. Your father is dead." says Genere.
"How dare you show up after all these years and expect us to simply welcome you back?" says Daisy in asassy tone as she stand up, hands on her hip and a serious hard look on her face.
"Daisy, I'm your mommy..." says Genere.
"As far as I see it, our mom's dead. You may be her, but even if you are I ask you to leave. You blew your chance to be a parent to me and my little sisters." says Daisy.
It hurt in Genere's heart to hear her own eldest daughter reject her this way.
"Please...forgive me..." says Genere.
Daisy spin around and walk inside.
"We forgive you, mom." says Violet, Lily and Misty.
"Thanks, girls." says Genere.
Violet, Lily and Misty hug their mom.
"Awww!" says Genere.
"Mommy!" says Violet, Lily and Misty.
"I wish Daisy would accept me as well." says Genere.
"She'll do so, eventually." says Lily.
"Do you think she will...?" says Genere.
"Yeah, mom." says Lily.
"Lily's right." says Violet.
Genere stay a few weeks, but Daisy continues to reject her, even though Violet, Lily and Misty accept Genere 100 %.
When it is time for Genere to return to Alola, Daisy says "I'll try to accept you, mom. Doing so is gonna take a long time, but I hope to be able to truly forgive you at some point in the future."
"Thank you, sweetie." says Genere.
"Sure..." says Daisy.
"Bye, girls. Write me." says Genere as she get into a cab that drive her to Vermilion City so she can get on a ship to Alola from there.
She feel happy.
"My little girls have grown up..." says Genere.
When she left them, Daisy, Violet, Lily and Misty were just kids and now all 4 of them are adults.
She wish she'd been there during her daughters' major childhood-moments.
Deep in her soul she feel that maybe it was wrong to leave them.
4 weeks later, she is back in Alola.
She breath in some of that fresh wonderful tropical air.
She feel at home here.
Kanto is no longer her home, Alola is.
Once back on her house she take a nap.
3 hours later.
"Yay!" says a happy Genere.
Almost a month later, Genere recieve a letter from Misty.
The letter says "Hi, mom. I hope you have a cute life in Alola. Sweet hug from Misty."
"So sweet. Misty like her mommy." says a happy Genere.
4 days later, Genere send a respsonse to Misty.
It says "Hi, Misty. I'm glad you decided to write me. Life here in Alola is pretty nice. This region's my home now. Thanks from Genere."
Genere is happy that her youngest daughter care about her.
"Misty has become so sweet." says Genere.
She remember that Misty was a bit of a little rebel back when she and her husband left Misty and their other daughters all those years ago.
"Cute." says Genere, happy over the fact that Misty has become a good sweet woman.
2 weeks later.
"La la la." sings Genere as she ride her Blastoise across the water between 2 of the Alola islands.
She is happy and her Blastoise seem happy too.
"Awww! Cute." says Genere.
5 weeks later.
"Hi, mom." says Violet, Lily and Misty when they surprise their mom at her house in Alola.
"Hi, girls. Uh...you seem one girl short. Where's Daisy?" says Genere.
"She didn't wanna come along." says Violet.
"Why?" says Genere.
"She's still kinda upset." says Violet.
"Oh...at least you 3 are here. C'mon in." says Genere.
"Yeah." Violet as she, Misty and Lily enter Genere's house.
"I'm happy to see you, girls." says Genere.
"And we're happy to see you too." says Violet.
"Thanks, girl." says Genere.
22 minutes later, Genere, Violet, Lily and Misty eat pasta and fish.
"It taste wonderful." says Misty.
"Sweet that you think so, girl." says Genere.
"Yeah, mom." says Misty, all sweet and happy.
Genere is happy as well.
"Awww!" says Genere.
"Yay." says Lily.
"Cute." says Violet.
"Yes, girls. It's adorable of you all to visit your old mommy." says Genere.
"Mom, you aren't that old." says Lily.
"Thanks, Lily." says Genere.
"No problem, you're our mommy and we love ya." says Lily.
"So sweet. Thank you very much." says Genere.
"Anytime." says Lily.
"Okay." says Genere.
Lily, Misty and Violet stay with their mommy in Alola for about 2 months before going back home to Kanto.
The End.
