It was finally christmas morning, and all the kids made sure everyone knew about it. The kids all came running into their parents rooms, eager to get downstairs and open presents.
The hotel had divided the ballrooms into separate sections for each family to open gifts, and had even put trees there. All the parents ran gifts to the ballroom last night, and it looked great in there.
The hotel had supplied coffee, hot chocolate, and various baked goods, to everyone's delight. Especially the parents, with the caffeine. All the kids got what they asked for and more.
Branden got a picture of the Basketball Hoop that was anxiously awaiting him at home, hockey sticks, a new hockey jersey from his favorite player, and season passes to the Seattle Seahawks football team. That last one was more of a gift for Mark, though. Alexa, unfortunately did not get her own pony, rather a play pony that she could actually ride, horse-riding lessons, and plenty of clothes. Mark got the new Air Jordans, a new Keurig coffee maker, and season tickets to Seattle Seahawks football teams. Branden needed someone to go with him! Lexie got a peloton bike, and plane tickets for her and Mark's trip to Napa in a few weeks. Overall, it was a massively successful Christmas for all four of them.
Ryler did get his PS5, and it was safe to say that Alex was equally as excited for this, along with a new skateboard, something he wanted to ride right then and there. Gracie, unfortunately, did not get a real unicorn, rather a unicorn outfit and a fake unicorn, that she could ride on. Gracie squealed when she saw that, and it made Jo so happy to see. Alex got plenty of much-needed new clothes, as well as season tickets to Seattle SuperSonics, something he was psyched for. Jo got a new Louis Vuitton bag, and a new couch for the family room was anxiously awaiting her at home. The 4 of them got exactly what they wanted and more.
Samuel got a picture of the bouncy house that was waiting for him when he got home, and it was epic. The bouncy house had two levels to it, two slides, and a ball pit. Harriet got her fancy art kit, and wanted to try and draw with everything right then and there. Jackson surprised April with plane tickets to Aruba, much to her delight. The two of them would be heading out in a few weeks, for a week away, just the two of them. April got Jackson a new watch, along with enough clothing to last him a lifetime. The four of them scored big time this Christmas.
Meredith and Derek surprised Bailey and Ellis with the promise of bunk beds at the DC house, and the two of them nearly screamed. Zola did get her phone, and Meredith had never seen her daughter smile half as big as she did when she opened that present. As Meredith's massive surprise, Derek basically rebuilt the Dream House, just in DC. Meredith tested up at this, because no-one had ever gotten her a Christmas gift half as good as this one. Meredith's gift for Derek paled in comparison, she got him a new computer for his big new job. She was still in quite a bit of shock over the Dream House 2.0. Christmas was absolutely magical for all of them.
