"Okay everyone" Tamaki commanded their attention. "Today is our free day from being hosts so enjoy it everyone!"
"What's that?" The twins paid him no attention and instead pointed at a couple of watermelon that had been left in the sand. One of the watermelons was underneath a blanket.
It was a mystery to them.
"So what is it?" Karou asked.
"Maybe someone forgot it." Tamaki stated.
"That's someone's lunch." Honey chimed in.
Kyoya's eyes landed onto a stick that had been underneath the blanket. "Perhaps the watermelon is meant to be hit."
The host club looked him with an incredulous look.
Haruhi stepped in. "Kyoya-senpai is right. It's a game called, "Suikawari". The winner is the person who is able to smash it. However, I wonder who left it here."
"It was me."
"Kago-chan?"
The host club ran up to her.
"Kago-chan are you alright?"
They had been worried for her safety.
"You have to take better care of yourself princess."
They actually cared about her health.
"Taisho-san, thank you for saving me." Haruhi smiled.
I presume you will be keeping our secret, hmm?" Kyoya gestured to Haruhi.
"Yeah…"
They had thought of her as one of them for them to trust her with Haruhi's secret.
"…" She didn't know how she felt about it.
"Hey…" Kaoru lingered on her form.
"You're wearing that old cloak again." Hikaru looked at it in disgust.
"It's ugly!"
"Hikaru, Kaoru." Tamaki chastened the boys.
"…" She just ignored them.
"You should leave it somewhere safe." Mori stated.
"That's right Mori-senpai! She should get rid of it!" Hikaru gave him a thumbs up which made the stoic host turn away from him.
She knew what Mori had actually meant. In her response to it she took off her cloak and set it on a rock.
The reason why he had told her to put it somewhere was so it wouldn't get dirty. He could tell that it was important to her.
It was just like Morinozuka to think of others.
Honey looked at her. "So Kago-chan why did you do this?"
Why did she?
"…."
They had questioned her on her wellbeing.
They had always been very welcoming to her.
They kept on bugging her with their schemes.
They, wanted her to be happy.
Nekozawa had said they were interest in the common folks' culture. So, she set up the game as a sort of thank you to them for caring about her wellbeing.
Kagome had to admit that it was nice to be acknowledge by people once in a while. It gave her a warm like feeling.
"…."
"Kago-chan?"
She was growing soft.
Unknowingly and without her consent she had become one of them. It was hard not to when they were such nice people.
But she couldn't…
They could end up like her friends before.
"Taisho-san it's your turn!"
"Okay." After spinning around three times with the blindfold she had cracked the watermelon with no effort even though it surely required a lot of strength.
She was stronger now.
Things could turn out more different.
This chapter is basically Kagome slowly becoming more open to them. It'll slowly happen though. Kagome is actually a nice girl that she can't keep on ignoring them. I hope this makes sense
Read and review to tell me what you think :D
