I do not own Phineas and Ferb or any of these characters besides PJ and Winnie. Those two are my only OCs.

Anyway, enjoy.

Nothing has ever made Phineas Flynn Jr. cry harder than the day he had to attend his best friend Winnie Fletcher's funeral. It was one of those rainy days in Danville where you could almost feel the sadness in the air that day. With every breath, PJ took, he would feel the same pain in his chest. PJ didn't know what to think as he stood under the tree. The same tree in the backyard of his grandparents' old house, where his dad and uncle would sit under every day during every summer of their childhood. He tried the thoughts in his head organized, but then he was snapped out of his stupor when his father took his hand. PJ turned to his father, who gave him a sad smile.

"Come on," Phineas said, motioning PJ towards his car, "don't wanna be late for the ceremony."

Everyone who knew Winnie was there. All of her old schools mates and friends were there. In attendance also were all of her grandparents, minus her late Grandpa Lawrence, who she would be buried next to. Also in attendance were her parents Vanessa and Ferb Fletcher, her aunt Isabella, her uncle Phineas, her aunt Candace, her Uncle Jeremy, her cousins Xavier, Fred, Amanda, and of course, PJ. To everyone's surprise, the mayor and even the president of the United States came over to celebrate the life of the daughter and niece of two of the greatest geniuses to ever step foot in the Tri-State Area.

The entire crowd was silent as the hearse with the coffin of Winnie's body rolled up. 22 servants picked up the coffin and lifted it onto the station underneath a tent where onlookers and family members can say their final goodbyes.

After everyone else said their final goodbyes, PJ fixed his tie and took a deep breath. He walked up to Winnie's coffin and placed his hand on it, shutting his eyes. He pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and read of what it was revealed to be: a poem.

"Hair as green like a pair. Eyes as blue as the crisp sky. You have no idea how hard it is, for me to say my last goodbye. You may be gone externally, but you will always live in my heart internally. You have been the dim light during my darkest days, and I will always remember you hugging me until my pain went away.

PJ felt like he was about to lose control of himself, but he sniffled and straighten up before continuing, choking on his words as tears began to stream down his cheeks.

"I will be there with you one day, so we can run, laugh, and cry together. I hope you rest in the internal piece...Winifred Ferbs Fletcher."

PJ realized he couldn't hold it in anymore. He dropped the piece of paper and broke down to his knees, burying his head in his hands and he cried his heart out for his cousin. His parents, along with his Uncle Ferb and Aunt Vanessa, all rushed to console him the best they could. They all gathered in a group and cried together as Winnie's coffin was rolled down to the ground.

PJ could never imagine his life could change so dramatically that one beautiful night approximately a year ago.

Phineas Flynn Junior, son of famous architect Phineas Flynn, is an energetic teenager who has a knack for adventure almost 24/7. He inherits that trait from his father but also inherits his courageous and quick-thinking from his mother Isabella, as well as her thick black hair.

Winnie Fletcher, daughter of famous innovator Ferb Fletcher, is a timid yet thoughtful green haired teenage girl who loves to partake in whatever crazy adventure her cousin gets involved in. However, she knows the difference between what's right and what's wrong, as she learned her mistakes after getting grounded numerous times by her mother Vanessa for any of her wrongdoings. But regardless, the Fletchers are proud of their overachieving daughter.

Winnie and PJ were known by their family and the entire city of Danville as the "package deal." They would spend every waking moment together, either at each other's houses, out taking walks, at PJ's Grandma Vivian's cafe, or simply at their school. When PJ got his driver's license the summer after the 11th grade, he would drive Winnie everywhere, from the park to his grandmother's restaurant, and they would spend hours laughing and horsing around with each other.

There is no PJ without Winifred Fletcher, and there is no Winnie without Phineas Flynn Junior.

Anyway, tonight wasn't like any other night. It was a Saturday night, of course, but for the Flynn-Fletcher cousins, it was the last Saturday night before their senior year of high school begins.

PJ was in his bedroom preparing for the night with his cousin. He put on his green, plaid shirt and his blue khakis and brown mocassins. He combed his hair forward, grabbed his car keys, and darted down the stairs towards the front door.

"Bye dad, I'm heading out right now." He called out by the door.

"Alright son," Phineas responded from the living room as he was watching TV. "You kids have a fun night."

"We will," PJ said before giving his mother who was by the door a kiss goodbye before leaving and hopping into his car.

Winnie was upstairs in her bathroom doing her makeup when her mother called her from downstairs.

"Winnie! Your cousin is outside in his car!"

Winnie squealed in excitement and put on her jean jacket before darted downstairs, giving her mom and dad each a hug and a kiss, and running outside before boarding in PJ's car.

PJ smiled. "Hey, cuz. Ready for tonight?'

Winnie nodded. "Ready when you are."

PJ started the car and drove towards the nightclub for teens that just opened up here in Danville. The cousins decided to fill in as much fun as they could these last few days before they have to begin the most difficult chapter in their high school careers.

The entire ride consisted of laughs and jokes of their entire summer.

"And then, I came into my bathroom and found my dad giving a monkey a shower." Winnie finished, trying to get the words out of that delicate situation. PJ tried to catch his breath as he couldn't stop laughing at Winnie's entire story. Once it was over, they both took a huge sigh.

"Can't believe we may actually be starting college next year," Winnie said.

PJ nodded. "What do you suggest we apply for?" He asked as he took a left turn.

Winnie scratched her chin. "I'm thinking of either staying home and attending Danville U. What about you?"

"I want my freedom from my parents. Plus, I think Tri-State State is a good choice."

"I agree," Winnie said, nodding her head.

Within minutes, they finally made it to the club. After they got out of the car, they walked towards the entrance of the Teen Club. After showing the bouncer their membership IDs, they were escorted in.

As they walked inside, PJ was all too excited. "This is it, Winnie. We're actually going to have a grand night if you know what I mean." He said, mimicking his uncle's British accent, which earned him a scoff from Winnie.

Once they were in the main room, the DJ already had the music started and about a hundred teens were already packed together, jumping and dancing like there was no tomorrow.

Winnie and PJ joined in. First, they were just moving their bodies around in bizarre angles at the beat of the music. But then, it was when they really took the stage. People crowded around them as the cousins began performing an award-winning dance session they learned from school. People were cheering and rooting for them.

The cousins were having the time of their lives. After about 20 minutes of dancing, they stopped by the Soda Bar to get a few Sprites. After Winnie gulped down hers, she instantly returned to the center stage and continued moving her hips around. PJ rolled his eyes in embarrassment and continued with his drink. There was a television set by the bar and PJ watched what was playing. He squinted his eyes and realized it was a breaking news report, however, he couldn't hear what was coming from the TV as the music was too loud. He could read the tagline, which read:

Former Convict, Thaddeus Riley, is seen heading towards Downtown Danville.

PJ gulped. He knew that man. And that man knew him and his entire family. Thaddeus Riley was none other than Phineas's ex-rival. He met PJ's dad and uncle when they were just young and Thaddeus and his brother competed against the Flynn-Fletcher duo in every competition that focused on and academics innovations, which including science projects and scholarships. Thaddeus also competed for Isabella's love during high school, but PJ's mother would always shun him away as she was interested in PJ's father. Soon, Thaddeus developed a deep hatred for the Flynn-Fletcher family as he dropped out of school while Phineas and Ferb moved on to much greater things. Thaddeus soon began to stalk the family, which only resulted in numerous arrests, the last of which was when he tried to abduct Winnie, but he ended up receiving a black eye from PJ and a trip to jail.

PJ turned to find his cousin, but it seemed as though she was gone. He began to panic but calmed himself down. Maybe she went to the other side of the building. He thought.

PJ then decided to explore the place. The entire club was built exactly like on for adults, except it was filled with nothing but an idiotic teenager and empty soda bottles. The music was too loud, and it started to give PJ a headache, so he went out to sorbet.

But then, he heard a gunshot from outside that stopped his pace cold. Everyone from inside of the club was shrieking in fear, while PJ could hear screams from the back of the club. He then heard sirens and he figured it was the police.

He looked for Winnie so the two could find what happened out there...but he couldn't find her.

He soon gave up and went outside to find many cop cars, an ambulance, and numerous people trying to witness the scene, however, they were pushed away by the cops.

As PJ walked towards them, he noticed the morticians were zipping up a body bag.

Holy cow. He thought. He never has witnessed a dead body until now but...

PJ's heart stopped cold when he noticed the person's face. Besides the gunshot wound to the head that was the catalyst that opened the gate allowing blood to flow out of the person's head and drenched her face and hair, PJ could notice the girl's blue eyes, her red lipstick, and especially, her green hair.

He could hardly breathe. His entire body felt as if it went on a complete shutdown. That body. That dead body was none other than...

"W...Winnie?" He whispered. The shock was too much. His brain completely lost control and PJ fell flat on the concrete floor right then and there.

So what do you guys think so far? I know it's horrifying, but this is just the first chapter. Things will get juicy. Thanks for reading.
