I do not own any of these characters. Clare Tjinder, Anna, and Terry are my OCs, as well as Winnie and PJ.

The Flynns and the Fletchers sat in the Fletcher living room as they passed a box of tissues around to dry their tears and wipe off anything from their nasal passages as the two officers looked upon them from the living room.

"Listen," The dark-skinned police officer, who's named Terry, spoke up, "We are going to be on the lookout for whoever did this to Winnie. We will keep you guys updated.

The female officer, who introduced herself as Anna, spoke up next. "We gotta go now, but we will contact you guys soon, okay."

All four parents nodded their heads. As the officers left, Phineas and Isabella stood up to say farewell. Phineas gave Ferb one last hug as Isabella did the same for Vanessa. Little did the Flynns and the Fletchers know how drastically their lives would change in the upcoming months.

Linda Flynn, Lawrence Fletcher, Heinz Doofenshmirtz, and Charlene Doofenshmirtz all came to the Fletcher house when they heard the news about their granddaughter. They were all completely devastated. Lawrence and Linda were trying their best to console Ferb in the master bedroom but all he would do is break down and cry in his father's arms whenever they would even mention Winnie's name. Vanessa was in the living room, practically wailing in her father's arms as he and Charlene tried to comfort her.

After Ferb completely calmed down, he and his parents went downstairs and into the living room and sat next to his wife. They hugged each other tightly in an attempt to comfort one another, but the pain of losing their daughter will stick with them forever.

Meanwhile...

As the months passed since Winnie's murder, the police were getting nowhere with the investigation. PJ had fallen into a coma and his parents were worried sick for him, and if you were to combine that with the grief they were experiencing from losing their niece, and all you would have left is a broken Isabella crying in her husband's shoulder as Phineas hugged her and looked sadly at his son's unconscious body, laying uncomfortably on the hospital bed. This was perhaps the most pain the 35-year-old had ever experienced in his life. (yes, Phineas got Isabella pregnant during college. That doesn't matter since they ended up getting married anyway. If you're curious, Ferb is the same age as Phineas and got Vanessa pregnant when she was 22 years old, which would make her 39 today. The Flynns and the Fletchers all got married when both Winnie and PJ were around 4 years old. The grandparents are in their 60s.)

Shortly after Winnie's death, Lawrence Fletcher was at his antique store when he started feeling chest pains, and then he suddenly collapsed. He was taken to the hospital and it was clear that he suffered a massive, unsurvivable heart attack, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. The death of his father caused Ferb the most pain and agony they had experience in their entire lives. Nothing his friends and family could do could bring him back to normal.

Ferb soon turned to alcohol, buying cases upon cases of beer. His friends and family, especially his wife Vanessa, could not bear seeing Ferb like this. They tried to help him, but nothing worked. Ferb's drunken rage drove everyone away, including his own brother Phineas and sister Candace. After months of this, Vanessa finally had enough and kicked Ferb out of the house. Ferb moved to a slum apartment in the inner city of Danville where he could drink his pain away for weeks on end without any disturbance. The Fletcher couple finally divorced a week after Ferb moved out. They were married for 13 good years.

17-year-old fraternal twins Xavier and Fred Johnson were both completely devastated by the death of their cousin. Despite the grief, they continued to support their Uncle Phineas and Aunt Isabella and would often visit their cousin PJ while he was still in a coma. Isabella and Phineas were grateful for their nephews to do something for this, but Xavier told them 'hey, don't mention it. He's our cousin.' Their parents, Candace and Jeremy would take time off from their jobs to help support their brother and sister-in-law through this tough chapter.

However, the Flynns' lives turn the wrong way in a matter of months. Phineas couldn't keep up with his current work with the grief he was experiencing from losing his niece and his stepfather, and the medical bills weren't a pretty number. The stress of having to keep up with the bills cause Phineas to become more aggressive, especially towards his wife. There would be constant fights, mostly focusing on whose fault was it to allow PJ and Winnie to go out late that night. Phineas then became violent, one instance is when he threw Isabella's favorite vase across the living room, nearly striking her. Their last fight ended with Isabella in the hospital and Phineas in jail for domestic violence. The couple finally divorced after months of constant arguing.

Isabella moved out of the house and decided to stay with her old friends, Ginger and Baljeet Tjinder, who were now a married couple, raising their ten-year-old daughter Clare.

The murder of Winnie Fletcher reached the mayor, who announced it as a day of mourning of the brightest young girl in their community. The students, teachers, and staff at Danville High School held a memorial to celebrate the life of Winifred Fletcher. The principal, who was a close friend with Phineas and Ferb, decided to allow PJ to graduate early, as he already earned enough credits and would be declared valedictorian if he would wake up from his coma.

However, will there be any way the Flynn-Fletcher Family could be reunited? Well, the answer to that could come from the dark-haired triangle-headed teenager PJ Flynn himself, who, to this day, is still out like a light.

Hey, I hope you guys enjoyed it! I know that this chapter is very depressing, but things will get better, I promise you guys! Anyway, see ya!
