The Erotic Supernatural Echtrai in Wonderland of the Four Seasons: A Modern Fairy Tale Novel
Arc 1-Pilot Episode
Act 1
My name is Serena O'Connell and my story begins with a road trip across the country with my five best friends; Catherine Hill, Rachel Stone, Abigail Willows, Katie McBride and Meghan Ahern. It was a spur of the moment, a last chance, an opportunity of a lifetime before we go our separate paths and part ways for who knows how long.
A chance to experience things, be on our own and be responsible for our-selves...
We were having lunch at Leo's Diner in downtown of North City, a small city-like town, and we were talking about what we wanted to do with our lives.
I was having a seafood chowder with sweet potato fries to dip...
Cat was eating a double cheeseburger with onion rings on the side...
Abby was enjoying a spinach salad with Devil Eggs and a Savory Caesar dressing on the side...
Rachel had a tortellini soup with a small bowl of spaghetti and meatballs...
Katie was having a half grilled cheese sandwich with a cup of tomato soup...
While Meg had a fruit salad with goat cheese and honey dressing...
As we ate; we threw ideas around and not really deciding on anything until Abby said in epiphany: "Let's do a road trip across the country or as far as we can go driving and do some exploring!"
"We'll need money and a plan;" I said a bit reluctantly, "I'm all for a road trip and having fun but we should be careful!"
"Oh come on, Serena, live a little;" said Meg with an eye roll, "We have our bank cards, we will be checking on our accounts daily and bevery careful on our spending!"
I agreed to the trip though I was still reluctant but at least it's a group thing and after lunch; we told our parents of our impromptu road trip as we began planning, packing and preparing. My parents thought it was a good idea and I promised them to call home for a check-in; I was still uncomfortable about the trip but Meg was right I needed to live a little.
Cat, Abby and Katie were taking turns driving as they were the only three of the group who have driver licenses; Meg, Rachel and I were taking turns as navigators with the maps, and we also take turn in paying for gas. Katie was given an old, still working, camping van that became our transport; we packed camping gear for emergencies, bought solar power chargers for our phones and four coolers, stocked up on films for one camera to share and last minute of packing of what we need before we were ready.
I packed some romance books, my guilty pleasure, that would last the trip at least and I had my phone to bring up any online erotic stories to if needed. We also made and packed sandwiches in one of the coolers; we had cold cuts, cheeses, mayo, peanut butter, jellies and marshmallow fluff.
In the second cooler was packed snacks, third cooler held bottles of water and sparkling juice, and the last cooler was packed with sodas. We also safely packed away laundry soap in case we need a laundromat to do our laundry when we stop for the night.
We went over any check list one last time to make sure we didn't forget anything and were ready to do our trip.
Act 2
I won't bore you with the details of when we begun our trip; the only thing I would say is that we took my Dad's advice and used the back roads to avoid traffic much. We had no set destination as we traveled; we just drove and sightsee whatever caught our interest.
We found small motels and hotels that would have one vacant room for the night or find a small place to camp and slept in the van or tent for a night. We even played Chinese Fire Drill in one of the towns or cities we were driving through; our belts would be off and we were out of the van at a stop light when the gear was put into park, we ran around the car once and were back in with belts on by the time the light turns green we were in drive.
We could hear the cars honking behind us as we drove off and we were laughing as we continued our trip. We also took a lot of pictures and bought a memento each to bring home; the sandwiches, snacks and drinks lasted us weeks, and we even stopped for fast food once in a while.
We restocked our sandwiches, snacks and drinks from convenience or grocery stores; we buy bread, cold cuts, cheeses, jars of mayo, peanut butter, jellies and marshmallow fluff. Snacks and drinks are packed into the three coolers; then we make the sandwiches in a motel/hotel room or on the side of the road with the trunk open, wrap and stock them in the first cooler.
We also make sure to clean up and toss any trash in the proper areas, we also keep the camping van freakishly clean as possible and keep everything organized. As we drove; I would bring out one if my romance books, the hot and heavy kind, my friends and I would take turns reading a chapter each out loud to each other.
When one of us reach the steamy scenes; the one reading the scene had to read it in a seductive way that had us giggling in the end but we still enjoyed the moments. My friends had gone on dates, done the makeout sessions and each had experienced their first time having sex with a boyfriend once.
I was the only virgin of the group but I wasn't a prude thanks to my guilty pleasure; there were times I had trouble sleeping so I browsed the web on my phone and read erotic stories online. On rare occasions; I would try experimenting on touching my-self but I always chicken out at the last minute, I couldn't get into or even set a mood of sorts not to mention I felt uncomfortable and didn't know how to react.
My friends understood my hesitation and they have spoken on their experiences, and I didn't mind the teasing of being a prude at times. My friends made jokes and teased with sexual innuendoes that were funny to laugh at or giggle over.
Once for fun and on a group dare; we rented an erotic movie in a hotel room for a night and split the bill six ways in the morning. We talked about the movie as Cat drove; I researched the sexual positions that were done and my friends each gave their own reviews.
We kept track of our spending, making sure we didn't overspend and double checked our accounts each month during our trip. We had yet decided to return home as we continued our course, we were being responsible and sticking together.
Everything was going well...
Act 3
One day Katie was driving and we were going through one of the forests near the mountains; I made sure to call my parents daily whenever we stopped to stretch our legs or bedding down for the night. We were soon driving with no reception so we enjoyed the quiet and the forest scene around us, we were soon feeling bored having already read the romance books more than once until stopping to stretch our legs.
We also noticed that no cars had passed us and assumed that the road we were on had not been used for a long time. Meg, Rachel and I were going over one of the maps of the area as Abby took over driving; while Katie and Cat were taking a nap on the second back seat behind us.
We soon stopped next to a ridge and got out of the van to walk around a bit, and the view from the ridge was picturesque. We even managed to spot a town in the valley below and Rachel said in thought: "We keep driving on this road and hopefully we'll reach the town before dark or so!"
"Let me refill the tank before we continue;" said Katie in agreement as she fetches one of six red containers of gas from a catch in the side of the trunk. "Cat must've been a psychic when she had us buy the gas containers before we took the forest mountain road!"
"Better safe than sorry;" said Cat simply with a smile.
This time Katie drove until we came to a fork in the road; we wrote our names on pieces of paper and placed them in a bag. A good shake by each of us was enough and as Cat was the oldest of the group; she did the picking and my name was drawn.
I pocketed the paper with my name and picked the right road, and Cat took the right turn as she drove. I soon noticed movements among the shadows deep in the woods and strange stone statues hidden among the trees but I couldn't tell what they were.
"Is that an archway up ahead?" Meghan asked as she sat in the front passenger seat as navigator.
Meg was spot on as we stopped and got out as we gazed at these large pair statues that flanked the road; they were a pair of rampant Sphinxes with paws touching to form the archway. Yet the faces of the Sphinxes had been worn away but they were beautiful to look at especially being wrapped in vines, before returning to the car I was handed the camera and took couple of pictures of the Sphinxes separately.
We got back into the van with Cat still driving and drove between the rampant Sphinxes, and kept driving once we were through. Yet I couldn't help feeling...that something was going to happen...
Act 4
The Sphinx Archway was soon far behind as Catherine Hill, Rachel Stone, Abigail Willows, Katie McBride, Meghan Ahern and I found our-selves driving down a dirt road of sorts in the forest. We had no idea where we were, tree branches slapped the van as we bounced in our seats from the holes or stones or even roots and I had a feeling that we were lost.
"Apart from the Sphinx Archway being a landmark of sorts, I think I chosen the wrong turn at the fork;" I said after a moment of silence, "I think we are lost!"
"The Sphinx Archway was something and we'll reach the end of this road soon;" states Cat who continued to drive, "I'll turn us around, go back through the archway and head back to the fork!"
We were practically holding our breaths and wondering when the road will end so that we could turn around. The wait wasn't long as we cleared the trees and came upon a...
Came upon a wall?
