Mike? Our Mike, that Mike did that?

"Now, how about we get you cleaned up and then I'll give you a nice long massage?" Mike asked Tina as he looked in her watery eyes. "How? Every time I move it hurts." Tina said. "We'll take small steps. For example: let's get this make up off first. No matter how much I love my zombie Tina, and she is much scarier with these tear tracks adding to the make-up, I love my living Tina much more." This made tina chuckle. Mike took of his hoody revealing his naked torso, he had been about to take a shower when Kurt had burst in. "Now look at that that's much better. Come on lay down on the bench." Mike guided Tina as she lowered on the bench, then he put his folded hoody under her head. He looked around. "Here are the wipes." Santana handed the box to Mike. "Thanks Santana." Mike turned back to Tina. "Just close your eyes." He waited for Tina to close her eyes and then started to remove her make-up patiently and softly. The other girls and Kurt just watched the couple, amazed at the tenderness between them and how much it felt like they were intruding. Tina sighed as she felt the freshness of the wipes on her face. Mike smiled to himself and then started talking: "I have to tell you: you were very brave today."

"I'm sure you actually mean: stupid." Tina commented. "No, I mean: brave. You saw an opportunity and went for it. I would be lying if I told you I hope to see you do it again soon. I mean it scared the crap out of me, seeing you lay there. But none the less: it was very brave of you. Hey can you move over a little so I can sit on the bench." After some shuffling Mike sat beside Tina on the bench and then continued: "I asked my father to get the candles and oil. Your favorites."

"Really? That is so sweet of you." Tina said opening her eyes and looking at Mike.

"I thought that would help you relax a bit more. But I'll have to find my father. I haven't seen our parents since the end of the game." At that moment Puck, Sam, Artie and Finn came in. "What are you doing here? You are not allowed in here." Rachel said looking at Puck immediately, knowing he would have to be the one who suggested it. "Relax Berry, I checked to see if everyone was decent through the hole I drilled a month ago." Puck responded, covering his ears from the comments coming from the girls. "Hey, we just wanted to see how Tina's doing. Besides Kurt Is here as well isn't he?"

"Yeah, well, Kurt is an honorary girl and you most definitely are not. But we'll let it slide since your motives are good." Mercedes said, then she pointed to Mike and Tina, who were both watching the exchange, both of them clearly amused. "He, Tina, how are you?" Puck walked to the couple, the other boys followed him. "In pain and surprisingly tired." Tina said. "But Mike being here helps."

"Good. Mike, we brought your clothes, we figured you might not want to return to the boys locker room. After what happened." Puck gave Mike his bag, Mike put it under the bench. "Thank you Puck. Very considerate of you."

"Hey, I can be nice, ask Lauren." Puck defended himself after Mike's teasing comment. Tina moved her head to look at Mike: "What happened in the locker room?" Mike looked at her affectionately. "Nothing, at least nothing for you to worry yourself over." And he continued cleaning her face, forcing her to close her eyes again.

"Nothing happened he says." Sam muttered under his breath. Tina immediately opened her eyes again. The comment got everyone's attention. "Yes, Sam. Nothing happened there that couldn't wait till tomorrow or Monday." Mike said trying to sound decisive, but apparently not convincing the girls enough. "No, no, Mike, You're not getting off that easily." Quinn said, turning to her boyfriend: "Sam, what happened?"

"One of the jocks made a very stupid remark and Mike set hem straight, only with words, he didn't hit anyone." Sam had clearly gotten Mike's message not to say too much. Either Puck hadn't gotten the message or saw that this explanation did not satisfy the girls because he humphed and said: "Carter told Mike that now he was a champion he should dump 'that Glee girl'" Puck didn't wait for the girls to vent their indignation and continued: "Mike rightly pointed out that we would not have become champions without your help and that you deserved some respect for being yourself and sticking your necks out. Then the ape suggested that you were to blame for them quitting."

"Are they crazy?!" Mercedes exclaimed. Undeterred Puck continued: "That's what Mike said and told them that they quitted because they were cowards and that you deserved much more respect then you get. He told them that they better never lay the blame for today at your door. We were all amazed at his words, it was great." The girls were all silent and looked at Mike who was fidgeting with his hands looking at them.

"Mike? Our Mike, that Mike did that?" Santana could hardly believe it. "Yes, he was awesome." Artie said. "Wow Mike, I didn't know you had it in you." Santana said.

"I did." Tina whispered, taking his face in her hands, guiding it to hers, giving Mike a soft kiss. Mike just looked in her eyes. "You should be proud Mike." She said. Mike shook his head: "Ut has nothing to do with pride. I should have said something earlies, when all those things with Kurt happened."

"You tried, you and the guys, but there was more going on there, Mike. I'm just glad you defended the girls when they couldn't defend themselves. I just hope it helps." Kurt said. "Me too, Kurt." Mike looked around seeing his friends together, it warmed him. After a moment of silence Rachel started to speak: "Well anyway. Thank you Mike, for speaking on our behalf."

"You're thanking me? We should be thanking you for everything you did this past couple of weeks." Mike said looking at Rachel incredulous. "Yeah, thank you girls." Puck followed Mike and hugged Santana and Rachel who were standing next to him. Sam, Finn and Artie then also thanked and hugged their Glee girls. Suddenly Santana burst out in laughter. "Okay, we have all thanked everyone. How about we let Mike take care of Tina and we go to the party? We have put a lot of work in it and I want to enjoy it." This was met with a positive response. Soon the glee club was piling our of the room, except for Quinn, Rachel, Mike and Tina. Quinn and Rachel still had to shower and change, they had agreed to help Tina if she needed it. Artie was the last to leave, but before he left he motioned to Mike to follow him. "I'll be right back Tina." Mike said as he followed Artie.

Outside of the locker room Artie turned to Mike: "I have to apologize Mike, for what happened right after the first half. I guess I still feel protective to Tina." Mike nodded. "I know Artie. And Tina knows as well, but you have to trust her and me that we know what we are doing."

"I'll try. But I'm sorry for what happened." Artie apologized. Mike smiled: "Apologies accepted, of course. Bro's?" he held up his fist, Artie bumped it with his. "Always"

"Cool."

"One more thing. Mike." Artie stopped him from turning away. "Your father gave me this. He asked if I could give it to you. He said your parents are going home and they'll see Tina and you later. No curfew." Artie handed the bag to Mike. "Ah, Tina's candles. Thank you… Wait…No curfew?"

"Yes, no curfew." Artie smiled as he saw Mike's smile grow. "Awesome."

"Yeah, hey, I got to go. I'm the DJ tonight." Artie wheeled to the gym. "See you later." Mike waved and then knocked on the locker room door. "Everyone decent?"

"Yes, come on in Mike." Quinn called out.
