Paris, France. Sly Cooper's World. Present Day. The Cooper Gang's Hideout.
In the world of Sly Cooper, in Paris, France, there was a hideout. The exterior of the hideout looked like an abandoned run down 2 story building to the average person. You would probably think that no one lived in that hideout. You'd be right. if you weren't a member of the Cooper Gang. Inside the hideout lived 4 people: 3 male, 1 female.
The three males were: a green turtle that looked like he could've been one of the members of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a pink hippopotamus who wore superhero type clothing, a purple chameleon who dressed and acted like the male version of Donna Summer and a blue haired vixen who worked for a government agency so powerful, you'd swear that the Queen of England owned it. The turtle's name was Bentley. He was named after a luxury car. Bentley was so smart, you'd swear his descendant was Albert Einstein.
The hippo's name was Murray. He was big. He had fighting skills so good you'd swear he was related to Hulk Hogan. He had a positive attitude. The purple chameleon's name was Dimitri. He used to be an art forger that worked for the Klaww Gang, a group of criminals that the Cooper Gang stopped a year ago. Now, he was the Cooper Gang's frogman. He dressed and looked like the male version of Donna Summer. Donna Summer was the "Queen of Disco". It wouldn't be surprising if Dimitri was related to Donna Summer.
Last but not least, we have the only female member of the Cooper Gang: a vixen cop named Carmelita Montoya Fox. Originally, Carmelita wanted nothing more than to arrest Sly Cooper and his friends. Then, after the whole time travel escapade, Carmelita woke up and realized that she secretly had feelngs fro the charming raccoon. Then, Sly disappeared atop of LeParadox's blimp.
The Cooper Gang had no idea that their friend Sly Cooper was in the 1980s in the human world. There used to be 2 other people in the hideout; 2 human beings, both of them boys. Their names were Julius and Tommy. Julius was currently sitting in jail. (I don't want to tell you guys the reason for Julius being in jail, because I don't want to spoil anything). Tommy was sent to a foster home in his world after the LeParadox incident.
The Cooper Gang were in their hideout. Murray was watching a Rocky movie in his room of the hideout. It was on VHS. Murray always liked the Rocky movies. He felt a connection between himself and Rocky Balboa. He wanted to be like Rocky Balboa. If they made another Rocky movie, Murray wanted to be in the role of either Apollo Creed or Rocky Balboa. Murray liked Sylvester Stallone's performance as Rocky Balboa, but Murray felt like he could do better playing Rocky.
Murray was watching Rocky 3. The movie was almost over. It showed Rocky, who was about to face off against Apollo Creed. The movie was over in a few minutes. Murray went to the closet to get another VHS tape to pick out. He lifted up the cardboard box that contained dozens of VHS tapes and DVDs. He set the cardboard box on the bed. Murray opened up the lid.
Inside the box were a bunch of VHS tapes and DVDs of various movies and TV shows. Some of the movies were sci-fi, action and horror movies. Murray picked out a VHS by random. He picked up the tape. The tape was in a blank sleeve. When he red the side of the tape, Murray stopped dead in his tracks. He was in shock.
On the side of the tape read the words: Sly Cooper 1984. It couldn't be true. Murray was probably just imagining things. There was no way that there was a VHS tape about Sly Cooper. Sly Cooper didn't act in any movie or TV show. Murray looked at the tape again. There was no denying it. The VHS tape that Murray had in his hands really did read: Sly Cooper 1984. He was eager to put the tape into the VCR. Murray ejected the Rocky 3 tape out of the VCR and the put in the tape that featured his best friend Sly Cooper into the VCR.
The hippo pushed play on the VCR. What he saw next on the screen would surprise him. There, sitting on a bed was Murray's raccoon friend: Sylvester "Sly" Cooper. Next to Sly sat a 12 year old human boy who looked a lot like Julius Kore, but wasn't. The human boy had the same features as Julius: blue eyes, messy brown hair. He was wearing a The Incredible Hulk T-Shirt with dark blue Lycra pants. The raccoon sitting next to the boy was wearing a green snap back hat with a Superman symbol on it. He wore a bright neon green sweatshirt that had no logos on it. He wore parachute pants, with yellow Adidas sneakers. There was a white timestamp on the lower left corner of the screen. It read: Aug 02, 1984. 6:00 P.M.
The tape footage was kind of grainy, almost as if the tape was shot in the mid 1980s. Sly appeared to be in a child's bedroom. The room had dozens of movie posters lining up the walls. Sly was the first person to speak.
"So, Richard, what did you want to talk to me about?" the raccoon asked the boy named Richard.
The voice was Sly Cooper's voice. It sounded just like him, down to the syntax. Murray couldn't believe what he was seeing. This couldn't be real. There was no way that Sly Cooper, one of Murray's best friends since childhood was on a VHS tape from the 1980s. Murray kept on watching the tape.
"I want to know where you're from." Richard said to Sly.
"I'm from Paris, France." Sly said. "That's impossible." Richard said. "There's no way that a raccoon who comes from halfway around the world ends up in Jackson, Mississippi in a blink of an eye."
"I'm telling you the truth." Sly said to Richard.
Richard then broke the fourth wall and said, "Are you hearing this, Scott. This raccoon claims he's from Paris, France, yet he somehow showed up in the United States out of nowhere and he just suddenly expects us to believe his bullshit ass claim."
There was a person off screen that said, "Yeah, I don't believe the raccoon's claim of him being from Paris, France at all."
Murray could only assume that the person filming this tape was either Richard's brother or friend.
"What I'm telling you is not bullshit!" Sly said angrily. "I'm really from Paris, France."
"If you're really come from Paris, France, then where's your passport." Richard said. "People who come from foreign countries that travel to America have to have a passport that allows you to go to the United States."
The raccoon said nothing.
"You don't have a passport, do you?" Richard asked the raccoon.
"I don't know where my passport is." Sly said.
"So, you're saying that you're a illegal French immigrant." Richard asked the raccoon.
"No, I'm a legal Parisian citizen!" Sly said to the boy.
"Ok." Richard said. Richard then saw a leg strapped pack that was strapped to the raccoon's leg. He opened up the pack. He took out a strange looking pair of binoculars. It was blue. It had a wide lens with a Polaroid picture slot below it.
"What is this?" Richard asked the raccoon.
"It's none of your god damned business." Sly said to Richard in an angry tone of voice. Murray was surprised by Sly's tone of voice. He'd never heard Sly use that tone of voice to anybody ever. It sounded venomous.
"I just want to know what this thing is?" Richard said.
"It's a binocucom, Richard." Sly said. "I use it for reconnaissance."
"Reconnaissance?" Richard asked Sly. "Are you from the CIA?"
"NO!" Sly yelled at the boy. Sly sounded pissed off. Sly almost never acted like that. He was usually a kind, funny guy to be around with. He was rarely angry or mean to anybody.
"You don't use that fucking tone of voice towards my brother." The unseen cameraman said.
Sly then looked at the cameraman. He looked like as if he was about to murder somebody.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP, SCOTT!" Sly yelled at Scott "NOBODY NEEDS YOUR TWO SENSE!"
Scott got up from the floor and handed the camera to his brother. The view now changed. The screen now showed a 17 year old human boy who was wearing a Lacey shirt with Spandex pants. He had a emo hairstyle that was black. He had green eyes. He looked pissed off.
"You don't talk that way to my brother, punk." Scott said to the raccoon.
"I can talk to Richard any god damn way I want!" Sly said.
"You're not his father." Scott said.
"I don't give a shit if I'm not your father." Sly said angrily.
Scott then noticed a strange pair of binoculars that Sly was holding in his hands.
"What the hell is that?" Scott asked the raccoon. "Is that a spying device? Do you work for the CIA?"
"LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!" The raccoon yelled in a deep voice.
Then, Scott tried to grab the binocucom from Sly's hands. He wanted to show the binoculars to his dad. He wanted to prove to his family that Sly was a secret agent from the CIA. Sly raised the binocucom above his head. What followed next was a scene ripped straight out of Bruce Lee movie. Scott was clawing and punching the raccoon repeatedly. While the raccoon was hitting him with his cane. The tape stopped right there.
By now, the entire Cooper Gang was in the room with Murray. They couldn't believe what they just saw on the TV. Sly was acting like a villain towards a family. This was very unusual for Sly. Murray ejected the tape and set it on the bed. Bentley, Murray, Dimitri and Carmelita looked at the VHS tape in shock. The Cooper gang now knew that Sly was in the year 1984 in the human world.
