And we're back!

Sorry about that, fanfiction cockblocked authors while it was under maintenance yesterday :S

Enough talk, let's go!

Rai held the Absol in his arms, looking at her horn. It was crescent-shaped with the colours of the moon. An idea came to mind as he pondered what name his new pokemon would have.

"Let's call you...moon." He suggested. Zara sighed in the background whilst Lucy placed a paw on her chin. Jess took the absol form Rai's arms and cradled her, causing her to coo and twitch her leg.

"I've got a better name than that." Jessica said as she rocked her back and forth.

"Isn't the moon the big rock in the sky?" Lucy pointed towards the sun. Zara took her pointing paw down and explained the day/night cycle to the young riolu. Bonnie sat down next to Rai and snuck under his arms for a cuddle. "I'm fine with any name so long as she behaves when she's in heat."

"Let's call you Luna. That sounds fine doesn't it?" Jess asked the Absol.

"Luna? Okay." She smiled, nuzzling Jessica's red heart spike.

Rai got up, bringing Bonnie with him. He looked to see Zara picking Lucy up on her shoulders. Lucy didn't seem to enthusiastic to be on Zara, but she managed to acquaint herself with her red, bushy hair.

"Alright, now that Luna's name has been settled, we should start getting some badges. I've been dawdling around too much because of recent events." Rai took out his bag to find his map.

"We should try out the Eterna gym then. Oreburgh will be our next target." Jess stated. "I doubt we'll lose when we have Bonnie on our team."

"I doubt we'll lose any gym. I mean, I'm the strongest here anyway." Zara added.

"And who said that?" Bonnie replied. She immediately watched Zara transform herself into Bonnie whilst Lucy fell on the ground.

"Says me, booby lady." Zara smirked. Lucy tried to climb onto Zara once more but she was flown again when she returned to her normal state.

"T-they aren't...that big." Bonnie muttered under her breath.

"Enough chitchat, let's go." Rai started walking. "Let's get this badge and skedaddle out of Eterna."

"I hope it looks cool on your badge case!" Jess said.

Rai immediately stopped, causing Jess to hit his back with her face whilst Luna gets squished between the two.

"Rai?" She said.

"Shit." He grimaced.

"Hm?"

"I forgot to get a badge case." Rai rubbed his head.

"Moron." Zara jeered.

Rai walked around Eterna city with his pokemon. He saw some looks and some stares, but he mainly ignored them mainly due to the fact that it has happened before. Lucy was oblivious to the public scrutiny, staring at the sun and at any other curious things nearby. Zara snarled at the occasional looker, who was usually male. Jessica continued to hold Luna close, who was napping on her arms.

"He must be a master trainer." One of the spectators said as Rai's group walked by.

"Why are they all female?"

"Lucky bastard."

"He must be strong."

"He already has a Blaziken?"

Rai tried to smile at the people who praised him, but he knew that it would only infuriate the more aggressive ones in the crowd. Bonnie saw his expressions and immediately knew how he felt, she tightened her grip on his waist, bringing herself closer to him. Jess felt his emotions radiating from his body, but she left the comforting to Bonnie, since she had a sleeping cub on her arms anyway.

"Young man, I'd suggest that you confine those creatures." An old man spoke out to the group.

"Well I'd suggest you to mind your own business, old man." Zara replied in Rai's place. The old man was stunned at the pokemon who spoke, but he remained grumpy nonetheless.

"I just hope that we get to the gym soon, it feels embarrassing to walk here." Rai whispered.

"I agree." Jess replied.

They continued to walk through the main road towards the Eterna gym. It was close enough for Rai to see a gathering of trainers and their starting pokemon.

"There's a café nearby." Rai said. "We should have a snack there before we go in the gym."

"Agreed" The rest said.

The restaurant was called Miltank's Corner, save for a better name. Rai sat outside on the tables with his pokemon, gathering more attention. A waiter approached them and told them about the menu, which contained a lot of dairy products.

"Six rounds of moomoo milk please, we're just taking a drink for the Eterna gym." Rai asked.

"E-eterna gym? Are you visiting the leader of the gym?" The waiter asked.

"We're gonna fight it!" Lucy said as she readied her little paws.

The waiter looked at them with confusion before leaving to get their order. Rai slammed his face on the table, feeling embarrassed once more.

"They think I'm a master trainer...but then they realise that I haven't even finished one gym." His muffled sounds escape the table. Bonnie patted his back to reassure him, whilst Lucy climbed on his back to give him a hug. The waiter had returned with the heavy platter of drinks and Rai paid him immediately.

The moomoo milk was sugary, yet it was nutritious at the same time. It had the kind of flavour to make you want more each time you take a sip of it. Rai immediately felt at ease and refreshed at each gulp he took. Lucy managed to drink hers quicker than any of them. Bonnie heated the milk with her breath before she ate whilst Jess politely drank without it staining her lips.

Zara, meanwhile had hers partially full. She drank a bit before she stopped immediately.

"What's wrong Zara?" Rai asked.

"I don't like it."She said.

"Why?"

"Too sweet. I like salty stuff more."

"What if I add salt to it?" Rai propositioned.

"Nah, I'm fine."

"Well, alright then." Rai got up and packed his bag. "Let's go then." He grabbed Zara's cup and handed it to Lucy, who had it halfway empty right after he handed it to her.

They continued walking towards the Eterna gym, finding alternate ways around the city where they would be seen less. Rai opted to put everyone in their pokeball to make the travel faster, but then he'd be going back on his own word about keeping them like slaves in those capsules. Fortunately, Eterna City was rather boxed in due to the nearby mountains and forests, allowing Rai to easily navigate his way through the small city.

Upon arrival, he sees the towering behemoth of a gym.

The beige roof glistens from the afternoon sun, supplying light to the vines that crept up along the gym's side, strangling the marble giant in vain. Rai peered inside the gym, allowing him to see a small waiting room where a shop was conveniently featured which probably held battle essentials.

Several trainers sat and stood around there, talking to each other whilst they show the newly-caught pokemon that they have earned. Rai felt a bit guilty, knowing that none of the pokemon by his side had been caught like the small geodude that sat on top of the trainer's head.

He soon shakes his head, reminding him that the friends around him were all saved by him, except for Zara.

"We gonna go or what?" Zara scratches her head.

"Yeah, just give me a sec." Rai said, sighing.

"Don't worry, you're just like them Rai. Don't be nervous." Bonnie nuzzled his cheek.

"I think they'll be more nervous than he will be when he walks through that door." Jess snickered.

Another trainer passes by Rai, holding a Lucario's hands.

"I'll do it this time, Shiloh! I'll take them all on!" She shouts. The trainer beside her chuckles.

"Third time's a charm." He replies. "Though I should probably start finding more pokemon to help you out in battles."

Rai looks behind him to see more trainers approaching as the sun behind them slowly descends from the high sky. He is just but one of the trainers that might get the badge today, whilst the rest may fail.

Just as the group began to start talking, A trainer emerges from the gym.

"Woah!" What's with all the pokemon?" He said. "That Gardevoir is not like all the others that I've seen."

The curly-haired trainer came out, his emerald eyes gleaming in awe. He stares at the Blaziken strangely, wondering if he has met it before.

"I'm just hanging in the gym with my Honchkrow until I get my chance to own this gym leader!" He said, pointing at the Honchkrow that was fighting with a Charizard in a corner of the visible waiting room.

"Nice, but it looks like that Honchkrow is having a fight with that Charizard." Rai chuckled.

"Oh don't worry, that's mine too." He smiled.

Bonnie froze in fear. Staring at the pokemon thrashing around inside.

"Huh, you look familiar."

"You too.." Rai replied.

Rai follows Jack into the gym, but he stops. He turns around to the group.

"Well, I don't think we'll fit in with all of us out." He frowned. "There's too many people."

"Shit. Well I call dibs on staying out." Zara adds.

"I'm sleepy." Lucy rubs her eyes. Luna agrees as she lies on the floor with Lucy, snuggling with each other on the cold stone floor.

Rai puts Lucy and Luna in their respective pokeballs, leaving Zara, Bonnie and Jess out. He enters the gym with them and follows Jack. Bonnie quickly grabs his arm and yanks him away from Jack.

"I-I just think we should start thinking about the gym battle." Bonnie stuttered.

"Well shouldn't we do that with Jack? Two heads are better than one." Rai suggested.

Bonnie glares at the Charizard speaking to a Bellossom.

She remembers their little conversation in the sky.

"Let me take you somewhere private...Where I'll have my way with you..."

The heat in her claws increases.

Who knew that she'd be meeting her nightmare, in the same place she found Rai no less.
