Katie has never been so grateful for such an amazing team. Really, none of this would have been possible without Oliver's resourcefulness and ability to book the pitch for any time at all, the twins' ability to disappear for an hour and come back with a variety of Honeydukes sweets, and Harry's natural adorableness that made him easily distracting. The four of them were a blessing when it came to keeping Angelina away from the Quidditch pitch.

She wants everything to be perfect. She and Alicia have been planning for weeks, trying to make sure their girlfriend's birthday is nothing short of magical.

"Hang on," Alicia says, frowning. "Put the Jelly Slugs in the middle of the blanket. They're her favorite."

"Fantastic! Good call," Katie agrees, doing as she's told. It really does look nicer, drawing attention to the Jelly Slugs more than anything else.

As a special gift, a surprise treat from Fred and George, Katie pulls out the bottle of wine and pops the cork, smelling it. She doesn't know what it should smell like, only that her parents always sniff the contents when they open a new bottle. The label says it's a sweet red, but Katie doesn't know what that even means As she goes to pour it into one of three glasses, some of it spills onto the pale pink blanket the little birthday surprise rests on.

"I think it might stain."

Alicia laughs and draws her wand. It just takes one quick spell, and the spill is gone. Katie smiles at that and resumes her work. This is why she loves both her girlfriends. They keep her balanced. Where she lacks, they provide. The three of them are a team on the pitch, and off.

"Being old is worse than I thought. Harry wanted advice on… What's this?" Angelina appears, eyes wide as she takes in the sight.

"Happy birthday!" Katie and Alicia say, almost in unison, but not quite.

Angelina covers her mouth moving closer. Katie can't see her lips, but the twinkle in her brown eyes tells her she has to be smiling. "You guys didn't have to do this," she says.

"Well," Alicia says, laughing as she shrugs, "I suppose that means I'll take back all your Jelly Slugs."

"Touch them, and I will end you," Angelina warns before looking around at the empty Quidditch pitch. "I thought we had practice…"

"Isn't Oliver a darling?" Katie asks, wrapping an arm around Angelina and kissing her cheek. "The whole team is bloody perfect."

"They were all in on this?"

Alicia appears on Angelina's other side, snuggling close. "Every single one," she confirms. "We wanted to make your birthday special, Ang."

"All I needed was you two for that," Angelina says, kissing each girl in turn. "Thank you."

As the three of them sit in the grass, sipping wine and eating sweets, Katie can't help but smile. Most people are lucky to find just one person in their life who means the world to them. She has two, and these little moments, filled with love and laughter, make her ready for every little obstacle that life throws at her. She knows she will always have them, and there will always be beauty in her life.
