'The Berg... was Green'
(Intro)
Narrator: The Ocean is one vast desert... where a man can drown... and never be missed!
One ship there alone... on an endless blue horizon: like a tiny oasis; a man-made moving island...
Its captain and crew, will be tested... Not by the dangerous powers of Nature - but by one from the Stars!

Thrum... Thrummm... Thrummmmmm! (a low but steady, odd booming sound... came from far across the sea lanes)
A lonely steamship plies the dark waters... Trying to cross the Atlantic, in mid-Winter with huge storms spread all about.
It's late 1945, not too long after WW-2 has ended... Nightmare images of Wolf Packs of German U-boats... Persists!
"Vladimir... change heading to the North-east... by 15 degrees" Halvorsen called, from the deck to the bridge.
"Yes... Captain. Helmsman, adjust course towards North-east - 15 degrees..."
"Aye, sir..." (the Helmsman did as ordered)
The glow had been seen by Captain Halvorsen... In his spyglass telescope. And it was an eerie green color.
In all his years at Sea, he had never seen such an odd thing. He'd heard a few tall tales, though.
And read of even Christopher Columbus seeing strange green lights, on one of his voyages.
It certainly wasn't a ship in distress... Red lights or flares were customary for that...
No... This was something very unusual indeed... The green light... in the dark.
It... was there. And 'it' had called to him - the Captain, of the S.S. Mjolner.
