Saphron Cotta-Arc was still unhappy, but after telling Jaune what it felt like to realise your little brother hadn't told you he was fighting the Queen of Evil, she was feeling a bit better. Now she was processing, well, everything. She was sitting at a table, looking over at her brother to make sure he was still there. She hears a commotion down the hall, picking out words like father, arrested, prison and pay. Or was that pain. The pair turn to each other, and cautiously make their way towards the noise.

By the buildings' entrance, Weiss and her team were standing between an angry crowd and a boy who looked just like her. The boy also looked, unsurprisingly, terrified. As they got closer, Saphron could hear Weiss's voice through the crowd.

"…I won't let him suffer for the actions of my Father. He's also the reason we found him. Jacques contacted him for help, and Whitley contacted me with his location". Saphron recognised older sister protectiveness when she saw it.

After a tense moment, the crowd began to disperse. Even the most aggressive, realising they had no chance of getting to the kid, settled for a sneer before walking off. Weiss spotted Saphron and Jaune in the cleared room and hurried over.

"Jaune, Saphron, this is Whitley, my brother. I'm sorry, but can you two look after him? I've got people asking for my help, but I don't trust everyone here to leave him alone".

Both Arcs nod. "After what he did for Nora, it's no problem" Jaune adds as he turns to Whitley. "Thank you for that. Just stick with me, ok"? Whitley agrees wearily.

Ilia's head was a mess. News of the confrontation had spread quickly. Jacques Schnee, the man whose policies had caused her parent's deaths, was in custody, thanks to his own children. One of which was Blake's teammate. She was angry at Blake for not telling her, but she could also understand her friend not wanting to risk a fight. She was momentarily distracted by a bird that had gotten inside. Ilia decided to take a walk, to calm herself down before she did something rash.

Saphron noticed how people kept coming to Jaune for reassurance, particularly parents with children. They wanted him to say that things would be ok, to thank him for what he did during an evacuation, to be reassured that he and his friends where still able to protect them. Seeing her little brother so grown up made her so proud, she wanted to give him a giant hug.

A guy with long black hair, Ren, Saphron remembered after a moment, walked up to Whitley. Rens' face had worried written all over it, while the younger boy looked extremely nervous. Whitley shifted in his seat for a moment, then stood (or sat) his ground.

"Weiss said you called the doctor" Ren asked wearily.

Whitley nodded.

"Thank you" Ren replied quietly, before departing.

Whitley let out the breath he'd been holding.

Saphron decided she needed to distract the kid. "Did Weiss tell you about any of this? The Grim, Salem, you know?"

"Nothing, but I'm not surprised, we…haven't gotten along" Whitley muttering as he finished.

"Well, I had them all under my roof and didn't get a word" Saphron replied theatrically, loud enough for Jaune to hear.

"You're not going to let me forget that are you" her brother sighs, Ren having just updated him on Nora's condition.

"Noop" his big sister beams.

Whitley couldn't help but smile at that.

Ilia was back, and she had a plan. Finding Blake and Weiss alone in a side room, she argues with herself on whether to talk to them. She doesn't want to cause a rift with Blake over her teammates, but she still needs her to know how she feels. Ilia takes a deep breath, and walks over.

"You never told me you were on a team with a Schnee" Ilia states flatly. The pair instantly turn to her.

"I'm sorry, but" Blake starts, but Ilia cuts her off with a raised hand. "I understand why you did it, I still wished you'd told me. Does she know"?

"Yes".

Ilia turns to Weiss, "I can't forgive your family for what happened to mine". The other girl nods sadly. "But, thank you, for what you've done for Blake" Ilia continued.

Weiss offers a sad smile. "It's been my pleasure, and I'll keep doing it as long as she wants me to".

"I'll find you guys later" Ilia says as she walks away.

Yang is trying to cheer Blake up when Kali and Ghira find them, the latter smiling ear to ear.

"Today keeps getting better and better" he beamed. Spotting his daughter, the couple sent the other faunus with them on ahead.

"Yang, thank you for your help putting him where he belongs" He smiled.

"It was my pleasure, hopefully he's gone for a long time". Yang returned the expression, but her eyes were harder.

"This will go a long way to help what we're trying to build to replace the White Fang" Kali added.

"Menagerie'll see your methods get results" Blake smiled.

After a moment, Ghira's expression turned dark.

"Ilia told us about you two and Adam. I'm sorry we couldn't stop him ourselves".

"I'm just glad he's gone" Yang muttered, Blake taking her hand before adding "It's ok Dad".

"No, after what he did to you, to all of us, I wanted to stop him before he did anything else. But trying to build a new movement on top of my responsibilities to Menagerie…" The man's fists clench, his wife putting a hand on his shoulder, whispering "it's ok".

"Dad, I mean it, you've been doing so much. Faunus rights are more important than tracking one guy across a continent, no matter who he is" Blake continued.

"Sounds like you've had plenty to deal with" Yang added awkwardly. Then a lightbulb went off in her head. "Are you in the government"?

"Did Blake never tell you" Ghira asked, his eyes shifting with amusement as he relaxed.

"My Dad's the Chief" Blake answered, giving Ghira a really look.

Yang's eyes widen in surprise, "You're a Princess!"

Blake shrugs awkwardly, "I guess…"

"And I thought Weiss was the team's blue-blood" Yang continued, smirking.

"It's not a big deal" Blake insists, rolling her eyes.

"Yes, Your Majesty", Yang adding an overdone accent and a bow of her head.

"Ha ha Xiao Long". Blake decides not to mention the position of Yang's mum, while her parents struggle to contain their own laughter. They share a knowing look, then Kali turns to Blake.

"When this is all over, you should bring Yang to stay for bit.".

"I'd love to" Yang beamed, before turning to Blake. "And I'd love to see your castle".

"I'm not sure the house is big enough for her ego Mum" Blake mock sighed.

"House, or mansion?" Yang added.

As Blake shakes her head and her parents laugh, another figure walks over.

"Hi, sorry to interrupt but, Yang, I need a word" Qrow asks hurriedly, his face lined with concern.

"Ok", she turns to Blake's parents. "It was great to meet you", and to Blake, "and I'll see you later", giving her a glowing smile before departing.

Ghira turns to his daughter.

"I like her".
