Nataku2709: Well, um, I'm not sure if you're talking about Eddie and the symbiote or Peter and the symbiote. And either answer would entail spoilers, but I do hope you like the direction I'm going to take this.
Has anyone else heard the rumors about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield coming back for the third MCU Spider-Man movie? It sounds awesome, and if I'm being honest, I'm going to be disappointed if it doesn't happen.
I own nothing but the story.
Peter was having a pretty good day at school the next day.
He was able to avoid Flash, he hung out with his friends, and still got good grades. He was lucky to be pulling As and Bs what with all the work as Spider-Man.
The only thing he didn't like that happened happened during the decathlon team meeting.
"I have an announcement, everyone!" Mr. Harrington said happily. Nobody was paying attention, though. They were all off in their own world. Peter was thinking about MJ. Mr. Harrington picked up a bell and rang it a couple of times. Everyone looked up then.
"Glad to see I have your attention," he said happily. "Now, we have been given a wonderful opportunity to go on a trip."
Everyone groaned. The only good trips they went on were the ones that were for competition.
"A trip to Stark Industries!"
Everyone stared at him for a couple of seconds. After realizing that he wasn't kidding, everyone except Peter and MJ started cheering happily. MJ just shrugged and went back to her book. Peter just buried his head in his hands. There was no way this was a coincidence. Mr. Stark definitely told Mrs. Stark to give the opportunity to Midtown.
"Hey, Pe*is," Flash said, "you ready to get exposed?"
"Listen, um, Flash," MJ said, "I know you're jealous because he's already accomplishing things in life, and your only chance at getting a good job is having your parents pay for it, but there's no need to just tell lies to others."
Flash looked like he was going to respond to that, but instead just scowled and looked away. Peter mouthed "thank you" to MJ, to which she gave a rare smile. He felt his face grow hot and looked away. Everyone kept on talking about the trip until the meeting ended a couple of minutes later.
"What're you doing?" MJ asked him when she saw it was just him in the room.
Peter had thought about how he would ask her. He had decided what to say, and what to do.
All of that turned to dust in his mind as he just responded with "Um … "
She stared at him, a bit confused, and he closed his eyes, and shot the words right out of his mouth. "Iwaswonderingifyouwantedtogooutwithmeifyou'refree!"
MJ stared at him in surprise. He just then realized he had probably said it too fast for her to understand.
"Like, like on a date?" she said, very confused.
He nodded slowly.
"Yeah!"
He stared at her. "Wait, really?"
She nodded quickly. "Y - Yeah, it, uh, sounds pretty fun."
Peter wasn't expecting that. "Uh, cool! Is there, uh, any place in particular?"
She shrugged. "I don't really care. Any place is fine."
He nodded. "Cool! Yeah, uh, that's cool."
"Cool, so, uh, I'll … see you later?"
Peter smiled. "Yeah, yeah, see you later."
He left the room and immediately broke into a run when he left the school. He ran into an alley and put on his suit. Once he got into his suit and put his mask on, he webbed his backpack to the wall, and jumped up, shooting a web. He pulled on it once it stuck to its target and flew through the air.
"WHOO HOO!"
Spider-Man felt unstoppable in those moments. He swung through the air of New York, performing stunts and tricks like the city was a playground. He shot two webs that stuck to the edges of two buildings as he was falling, and he pulled on them, using the webs like slingshot. He flew into the air so high, he thought he was slightly higher than the Empire State Building. It looked like it from a distance. He fell down to the ground and stopped his fall by shooting a web at a building, using his momentum to swing across the city. At one point, he got so close to the ground, he was right next to the cars that were stuck in traffic. Suddenly, a stray newspaper flew into his face, and he accidentally let go off his web. He rolled on the ground right in front of a truck that immediately stopped and honked.
"Get outta the road, webhead!" said the driver.
"Sorry!" Spider-Man told them, and jumped up to a rooftop, the newspaper in hand. He looked at the newspaper and saw the title.
SPIDER-MAN WORKS WITH GANG TO ROB BANK.
There was a paragraph detailing how Iron Man had to intervene to stop him underneath.
Spider-Man groaned. Jameson was at it again. It seemed like libel was practically his hobby.
Someone was being mugged nearby, and Spidey smiled under his mask. Maybe he could at least get people to see how J.J.J. was. wrong. He quickly balled up the newspaper and jumped down in front of the mugger. He threw it at the mugger, which distracted them, and shot a web grenade at them. It detonated, and covered the thug in webs. He turned around to see if the person was alright, but they just screamed and sprayed pepper spray at him.
The pepper spray didn't really bother him. His suit protected him from things like that. What bothered him was that people were afraid of so much, they would scream and spray him like that.
They ran out of the alley and Spidey walked out of the alley. He was about to swing off, when a police officer saw him and said "Don't move!"
"Don't worry, officer, I already caught the mugger."
"Put your hands behind your head!"
Spidey groaned. He was considering webbing Jameson's head to his printer. At the time, he just decided to jump up, and swing off.
Would he ever be appreciated as Spider-Man? Would people always fear him? Would cops always try and catch him because of what Jameson was saying? Spidy decided to not go to Mr. Stark that day. He didn't want to be accused of breaking into Stark Tower if someone saw him climbing in.

Peter was waiting at Central Park later in the day. He had told MJ to meet him there and was thinking maybe he should've worn something nicer. He was just wearing normal clothes.
It was a bit of a relief when she came wearing normal clothes as well, but that didn't do anything to make him relax. He was incredibly nervous.
"Hey," she said with a quick smile.
"Hey," he said, smiling as well. He pulled out two sandwiches from Delmar's. "I, uh, got these." He gave one to her.
"Thanks," she said. They started walking together in the park, and Peter was having a hard time starting a conversation. Actually, he was having a hard time forming words.
"So, uh, h - how was your, um, day?" he finally got out.
She nodded. "Uh, it was good."
There was more silence as they walked before she said "Uh, did you know that more gunpowder has been used in this park than at the Battle of Gettysburg?"
Peter smiled. "Uh, I did not know that. That was, uh, a nice fun fact."
They kept walking, and they got to the Alice in Wonderland statue.
"This statue was made for climbing, you know," MJ said. Peter gave a small laugh. "Do you, uh, have like, an encyclopedic knowledge of everything in the world?" MJ shrugged. "Do I?"
They stared at the statue for a bit when MJ said "You should climb it." Peter looked at her. "Uh, what?"
"Yeah, it was made for climbing, go ahead."
Peter went up to the statue and climbed it. He made it look not too difficult, but also not too easy. He didn't want to expose his identity. He got off quickly and made sure nobody nearby was looking. "There!"
MJ looked at him and said "Hey, come over here." She walked off to a place where there wasn't a lot of people and he followed. Then she said in a quiet voice "Why did you try to make it look like you were having a bit of a hard time climbing it?"
Peter stared at her with wide eyes. "Uh, no I wasn't."
"Peter, that statue was made for children climbing it, you should've had no problem whatsoever."
Peter silently cursed himself. "Uh, it was a bit hard."
"And why did you disappear at Washington out of nowhere? And you were nowhere near when Spider-Man was there."
Peter was sweating a bit. At least, sweat that wasn't already there from his nervousness for the date. "I was, uh, sick, remember?"
"Are you Spider-Man?"
He hesitated. "No. No, I'm not."
"Peter - "
"I'm not."
"Peter, please - "
"I don't know why you would - "
"Peter!"
He stopped then, and she took a deep breath. "Peter, listen. I really like you. And I don't want you to lie to me."
Peter didn't know what to say then. Suddenly, the symbiote crawled out of his backpack and stuck to the back of his neck. Then, words came out of his mouth that he didn't even mean to say. "MJ, I'm Spider-Man, and I love you too!"
It got off and went back to his bag. MJ was staring at him with wide eyes. "What the f**k was that?"
"An alien symbiote."
"And it just took control of you and made you say that?"
"I think."
"So you're Spider-Man?"
Peter stuck his hand to the ground and stuck to it. He pulled anyways and a small chunk of the ground was torn off. "Yes."
She smiled, and pumped her fist. "I figured it out!"
"Don't tell anyone. Please."
"I won't, I'm just excited!"
Peter's phone suddenly rang, and he checked to see a message from May telling him that it was late, and he should come home. "Uh, I've got to go, but this, was, uh, this was really nice."
MJ nodded. "Yeah, yeah, it was."
She gave him a quick kiss and waved goodbye. "Night."
Peter stood there for what seemed like forever. "A girl just kissed me," he said in a voice that was a bit higher than usual.
~Plipplop~
"Where have you been?" May always got worried when he got back late. Even if he was just a little bit late. Everytime he was late, he always came home to a lecture about how dangerous it was and that he needs to be careful.
"On a date."
Her attitude suddenly changed from stern to excited. "Oh! Who's the lucky person?"
"MJ," Peter said, putting his bag down. May looked even more excited. "Oh! MJ's a nice girl. So is her aunt, did you know that they live in an apartment near ours? It's on one of the upper levels."
"Really?" Peter said. That was new.
"Yeah. Well, you better go to sleep. It's a school night, and you need your sleep. Especially with the whole Spider-Man thing."
Peter smiled. "Alright. Night, May."
"Good night."
He went to his room, and collapsed on his bed. He was tired. The only highlight of his day was his date. Everything else kinda sucked.
~Sucks, man~
Help him …
Help the kind boy …
Help the kind boy!
