Izuku Midoriya:

He should've taken the heavy mist and the thunderous clouds as a warning when Izuku Midoriya awoke up at dawn, the worst day of his life. Yet he didn't know it, he should've sensed something was off. The air was cold and damp and he wish had taken his sweater to school, but he hadn't. As he walked the streets of my hometown, he felt eyes peering at him as he made his way to street lights. Just as traffic stopped and Izuku was permitted to continue walking, the bus he was supposed to catch, roared heavily and picked itself up, driving away from him and the bus stop.

He drew forwards, picking up the pace as he ran onto the road where the crosswalk was lined. Halfway across it, he felt a tickle of a raindrop land on his nose. Izuku looked up confused and held his gaze at the gloomy clouds as he continued running. The clouds seemed to glare at him when suddenly he gasped and tripped and fell onto the cement. His eyes squeezed shut in pain as his chin bashed against the ground. Pain seized through his elbows to his chin.

Gritted his teeth, Izuku rolled his eyes at a car that honked beside him, inpatient. Another sign of which he should've taken in serious thought, but still he shook it off as he got up and walked to the bus stop.

He ended up walking to school, due to traffic being slow, in the cold pouring rain, his clothes drenched. His shoes squeaked and shook the water out within every step he took. As Izuku pulled the iron bars that held onto the doors of the school, the smell of strong chemicals stanched his nose as he sauntered towards the dorms.

He was in desperate need a new pair of clothes before he could head to class. Walking towards the locker room, he shivered, clutching his arms close to his body trying to stay warm but failing miserably as hestepped into the locker room. There were no one in the halls, not even the teachers.

Puffing his cheeks, he scruntized the room and saw a white t-shirt that said "plus ultra." on it with orange letters and black pants with white lines on the sides. Sighing, he looked around the changing rooms. It looked like no one had been here for a while. There was a pair of shoes by the sink and a backpack at the opposite side of the room on the bench compared to the white t-shirt and a page laying on the ground.

Izuku should've thought about who's clothes those belonged to, he shouldn't even have touched them in the start. He should've set an alarm like always, but he hadn't. He should've stayed away and called in sick that day. If he had taken a second and had thought about it, everything that had happened, happened out of pure bad luck. He should've turned around that day and gone home.

There were many things Izuku should've done that day.

And there were many times where he had ignored those options.

"Go to the Recovery Girl." All Might turned his body towards Izuku, shutting the door behind him. His eyes peered at his body, frowning at the bruises and scratch that decored his student's body. His brows furrowed as he chewed the inside of his cheek. "Though I do not know why you're in these type of clothes, you're in bad shape-"

"But I can't miss class!" Izuku pleaded, his eyes widening in a beg. He step forwards. "I'll explain about coming to school late, just let me attend to class."

All Might sighed and shook his head, reaching out and turning him around in the direction of the school nurse. "No young Midoriya." He said curtly. "You need medical attention and need in rest."

Giving up, Izuku gave in and nodded his head, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "Yeah ok." He turned his head in the direction before waving and leaving, watching his teacher go back into the class. Heading towards the nurse's office, he felt despair grumble in his gut. Something was still off and it made him on edge.

Opening the door to the nurse's office, he walked in and shut the door behind him. Looking around, he noticed that there were barley any students in here. One of them looked like he had a bad pencil accident and another feeling sick by the way she held onto the trash bin close to her.

Frowning, he stepped forwards at the desk and looked down to see recovery girl peering up at him. She took one look at Izuku and scoffed, hoping off of her seat and coming out from behind the desk. She pulled him to a bed and sat him down, looking at his injuries.

"Do you ever not get injured?" She asked, looking at him over her shoulder as she got badages out of a drawer and placed them on a tray beside her. She reached out and beckoned him to give her his arm.

Izuku obeyed immediately. "Today just isn't my day." He grumbled looking away. His mouth was dry and it felt as if he had been eating sand all day. Groaning softly, he closed his slightly and exhaled a soft breath of stress.

"What's the problem, child?" She asked, retreating her lips and looking at him with worry. Peices of her gray hair stuck out from her bun. Her clothes were wrinkled and for once, she didn't have her pink shades on.

Avoiding her eyes, Izuku smiled softly. "Nothing, I'm just a bit lightheaded and dizzy." He gasped slightly, reaching up and holding his head. He hissed in pain and recoiled his hand away, regretting waking up this morning.

"It looks like you hit your head pretty hard this morning." Recovery girl stated, reaching out to him and touching his chin.

Izuku hissed and recoiled again in pain and moved his head away from her hand. "Hey tha- Woah." He caught recovery's girl hand before falling sideways, his eyes widening in alarm.

"You have a concision child." She scoffed and shook her head. "Do you ever stay away from trouble?"

"I try my best." Izuku smiled brightly at her and chuckled lightly. His dark green hair bobbed along with his nod as he tried his best not to cringe in pain.

"You should try harder." Recovery girl smiled back, sighing as she leaned back. "You shouldn't go back to class, dear. Rest here and when you're feeling better, go home and take tomorrow off." She took off her gloves and set them on the tray, turning away from him.

But he didn't want to. He was an A student. He couldn't miss class and make his friends worry. What about Todoroki? Izuku frowned. "But if I feel better, then I'll be fit for class-"

"Not for fighting child, now stay here and rest. let me know when you're awake." She turned and glared seriously at Izuku, giving him the index finger she pointed at. "One more complaint and I'll just send you home."

Nodding, he turned his head away and sighed. Today hadn't at all been his day. First, he wakes up late. Then he forgets his sweater and his bus leaves on him and it starts pouring rain! After that, he gets drenched and has to use someone's outfit from the changing room. He doesn't even know if it's infected with bugs. Lastly, he gets kicked out of class and might have to go home?

The worst day he's had so far. Groaning, Izuku flopped on the bed and sighed. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to stay here for a bit.

~ This idea was not mine, so if you want to go check out youngandchildish then I recommend it! They're the ones with the plot, I just changed a few things. Hope you've enjoyed this chapter so far, stay tuned in for more ~
