Quick chapter today. Im tired as hell and have a headache
The clock ticked monotonously as the children stared at their estranged brother. Originally, they had all clamoured after him. Cries of relief and insults out of worry were what filled his ears. His kids woke up, and despite being younger, they stayed by his side, not speaking a word. Lisa pulled a pin on some sort of gas grenade, and the room slowly began to calm down. He was escorted to the living room, where he sat now. Him, and the three strange girls with him.
Lori felt the effects of the gas wearing off, as the near silent room was starting to pick up steam. Fingers tapping and legs bouncing with anxiety and excitement. Its been two weeks since she's seen her brother. Wheres their hello? Their hugs, their apologies for being gone for so long? Her eyes drifted to the three girls. They surprisingly resembled her brother a lot. A bit too much if you asked her. She opened her mouth, speaking with an authoritative tone. "Like, arent you going to say sorry?".
Lincoln's eyes widened and his heart began to beat faster. Sehnma spoke before he could, her native tongue sounding brutish, and rough to the untrained ears of the Loud household.
"Dashja, muk le tim Anglish? (Dad, is it time for English lessons?)"
"Nej. (No)" He responded. She clammed up once more as Lincoln turned back to his sister. "Are you fucking serious?"
An audible gasp came from Leni as the rest of the group didnt react. How could they? He's never once even hinted to saying a swear. Lori stood up quickly, and walked towards her brother. "Excuse me?"
"No, excuse ME. You're asking me for an apology? Why? It was your idea to have me be Lisa's guinea pig in the first place Lori". The tall teen straightened her back. "Whatever doofus, if you hadnt taken that little joyride in the golf cart with Ronnie Anne, you wouldnt have crashed Lynn's game and nearly ran over the coach. And now look, you dragged three random kids back with you. Their mother must be so worried! Now we have to take them home. You'll be lucky if their mom would consider not pressing charges. She'd hate you"
Lincoln stood up quickly, standing in front of the teenage girl. "Say that again, one more time". Lori looked him in the eye, and mouthed the words. "She'd hate you"
Lincoln laughed, and laughed. "You know, I missed you guys for the first year I was there. On a world none of you even know about. But then I realized, you never loved me. I was just someone who was an inconvenience to all of you. Fuck you Lori."
A slap resonated across the ears of the children in the vicinity. However, Lori realized that her hand hurt more than the damage she had done to Lincoln. He simply scoffed. His children behind him, looked at her. Who was she that she could hit their father, yet he didnt retaliate?
"Twerp. What do you even mean the first year you were there? You were gone for two weeks!?". Lincoln giggled a bit more. "Oh, I get it. One of those wormhole type deals. 12 years there is 2 weeks here, I see"
The boy pointed at Lisa, who'd been writing down the physical descriptions of the girls. "You, do you still have that memory prodding machine? I want all of you to see the dreamy hell i grew up in"
