Harry returned to Arthur and Mera's lighthouse the following day with Tsukiumi and Kusano just to prove that it was possible for him to go somewhere and not get caught up in drama.

If Mera and Tsukiumi hadn't taken to sparring and exchanging tips on wielding water Harry might have had to do something drastic… he hated boring and that's the direction that the evening headed.

News was spreading fast through the American government and the rest of the world that Harry Potter was more than human.

There were rumours that he was the next stage of human evolution.

That he was an alien.

That he was a god.

That he was God.

That he was insane.

Xander and Dani might have started that last one.

Kara and Lara were settling in nicely.

Lorna had started a new club for those with names similar to hers. Lorna, Lana, Lara, Kara, Kyla, Homura… Kusano was upset until Dani said they could start their own club.

A theme had yet to be decided.

For now the castle residents had something else to worry about.

The Orb.

"It was a closely guarded secret." Lara told the them as they sat around the table in the Great Hall. "The Orb was originally created by my husband to heal, but the ruling council of Krypton insisted that it be used to store the DNA of certain Kryptonians so that they could be resurrected if anything where to happen to Krypton.

"Jor was disgusted and tried to stop them. He was about to be sentenced to death by the Council but Zod stepped up."

Lara trailed off as a wave of emotion hit her and tears filled her eyes. "Zod was my husband's best friend… I still can't believe he turned into that monster."

"If Zod is in that thing we should destroy it." Kara scowled. "I don't care how many people are in there, they aren't worth the risk if Zod is there too."

"Tell me about this 'Phantom Zone'." Harry said with guarded curiosity. "We have acquired several devices to access it but very little information on what it was used for other than a place of banishment. We could also use a better description."

Lara shuddered. "The closest analogy I can think of is the human's theory of 'Hell'. Only the vilest of criminals is sent there. Sometimes they are stripped of their bodies and only their essence is sent there."

"That explains a lot." Harry sighed.

"Harry?" Laura queried.

"The Orb is a soul container, but some of the souls are… damaged. Best guess: Their soul was split when they the original was sent to the Phantom Zone so only a partial soul was recalled to the Orb on their death."

"This sounds like exceptionally advanced technology." Brunhilde muttered.

"It is more advanced than anything I have seen." Harry nodded. "It is even light years ahead of the rest of Krypton's other tech."

"Brainiac?" Clark offered.

"Possible." Harry nodded slowly.

"What does that monster have to do with my husband's work?" Lara asked.

"There is no way that Jor-El could have created something like this on his own." Clark explained. "He had to have had help from someone more advanced. Brainiac is the single most advanced being we have ever seen."

"Thank you Kal-El."

The group turned to see Brainiac walking into the room.

"Ladies, meet Brainiac, in the flesh… so to speak." Kyla frowned. "What are you doing here?"

"The Vision sent me after he explained the Orb. Also, I am Brainiac 5.0. My previous incarnations where deemed irredeemable and I am the fifth and most acceptable version."

"You went through five versions in less than a month?" Lois asked sceptically.

"When things work at a digital level, time is not much of an issue." Brainiac shrugged.

"This is the monster that destroyed Krypton? And you just let it-"

"Kara!" Brunhilde snapped. "This incarnation is merely the several times great grandson of the original. I trust you will not hold him accountable for the actions of his father… lest we be forced to bring up Zor-El?"

Kara looked outraged but Lara put a firm hand on her shoulder.

"So, Brainiac, you helped Jor-El create the Orb?" Lorna asked.

"Not directly. But he did use a lot of my stored data as research. Jor-El was a gifted scientist, all he needed was a hint of which direction he needed to go in."

"I think we need to take a look at the Phantom Zone." Clark said seriously. "A prison is managed and utilised by regular sentient beings, and we all know that they can make mistakes. We need to make sure that those that are in there deserve to be in there."

"Are you accusing Uncle Jor of putting innocent people in the Phantom Zone?" Kara asked dangerously.

"Alright you little whippersnapper." Lois snarled. "I have just about enough of you jumping down people's throats. Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough already? How many times have you embarrassed yourself by making accusations?"

"Lois."

"Not this time Clark." Lois snapped, not looking away from the teenager glaring back. "Miya, next time she opens her big mouth and accuses instead of asking for the facts, break out your ladle."

There was the sound of metal being dropped on wood.

Several of the castle residents cringed at the sight of Miya's ladle.

"Sit down Lois." Chloe said in exasperation as she pulled her cousin in to the seat next to her.

Kara smirked at Lois who was glaring grumpily at her.

"We aren't done with you yet." Kyla snorted, causing Kara's eyes to widen worriedly. "Tell me Squirt, how many people had access to the Phantom Zone?"

"Don't call me that."

"Kara, answer their questions." Lara chided gently.

"I don't know." She said sullenly.

"Was Jor-El the only one?" Lana asked calmly.

"Zor-El could access it. So could the Council."

"Right, so why is it that you assume we are accusing Jor-El of putting innocent people in the Phantom Zone?" Kyla took up the lead again.

"You already said you don't trust Uncle Jor because he tried to get Kal to conquer Earth." Kara said smugly.

"And why would Jor-El want Clark to conquer Earth?" Lana asked.

"I don't know." Kara admitted. "Except that the AI wasn't really Jor-El. Just an emotionless copy."

"Just so we are clear: There was more than one person with access to the Phantom Zone, more than one way to access it and yet you decided to assume that we were either a) blaming it all on Jor-El for no reason or b) blaming it on him because he's proven in the past to be that sort of person." Lois said snidely.

"What are we blaming who for?" Musubi whispered a little too loudly to Matsu.

"Jor-El for putting innocent people in the Phantom Zone." Matsu shrugged. "For the record, if he is anything like his AI then I wouldn't put it past him. I've seen what that stupid AI tried."

"I believe I can shed some facts on the current dilemma." Brainiac spoke up with an amused smile at the arguing and bickering. "Jor-El was a compassionate and fairly wise young man. He would have abhorred the thought of imprisoning the innocent and had no plans for his son to conquer anyone.

"Kal, that AI you encountered was a highly corrupted AI. I know this because my original incarnation did the corrupting. Your father would be very proud of what you've accomplished. You have gone beyond all of his dreams."

Kal just nodded tightly to the AI. There was still a bit of tension there.

"Can you shed any light on the Phantom Zone? What is it like, what will we find there?" Xander asked.

"It is a wasteland. A bleak desert with no real sunlight. There is no food or water, the environment simply sustains the inhabitants."

"It is also designed to suppress any enhanced abilities such as strength." Lara added.

"True, but I am not sure what sort of effect it would have on gods and aspects." Brainiac frowned. "At the very least, none of the inhabitants would be able to stand up to your standards even with your powers."

"Multiple teams? Amazons and Sekirei backup?" Xander suggested.

"Under the circumstances, I feel I should offer this opportunity to my brothers in Asgard." Clark sighed. "Baldur is getting a bit jumpy. I saw Thor telling him off the other day."

"For what?" Lorna asked.

"Does it matter? Little Thor was telling off Baldur the Light and Good." Clark pointed out. "There is simply no circumstance in which this is a good thing."

The armies of Asgard stood arrayed on the Bifrost Bridge. To the side stood Odin, Harry and his family… which included Clark and a fair number of Sekirei.

"You aren't going to lead this yourself?" Harry asked Odin.

"I have seen many battles. I am old now, as I told you on that fateful day I lost my oldest son, Baldur deserves this. He has earned it." Odin said seriously. "That and Baldur has been trying my patience these days." He sighed. "He is a good man, but he longs to protect the innocent. The peace we enjoy in Asgard is enough to put any of my men on edge after a while."

"Perhaps a series of war games and tournaments between the Aesir, Sekirei and Amazons." Xander offered. "It could be as bloody and lethal as you like if Harry presides over it."

Odin was intrigued. "The Sekirei and Amazons are both noble warriors. There would be nothing better than to engage in battle with such a warrior and to still be able to drink mead in the Halls of Valhalla with them afterwards. We will speak on this more later." The King of Asgard was definitely into the idea.

Baldur chose that moment to march up to them with a huge smile on his face. "Your men are ready Father. They await your wisdom." He said with a respectful bow… his smile still plastered on his face.

"No my son. This is your battle lead in my name and that of Lord Death. You will speak to our army." Odin said proudly.

Baldur bowed much lower this time. "We will not fail either of you." He stood and grinned at Clark. "Are you sure you will not join us, Brother?"

"I need to find this portal. I'll be standing guard there. I have no doubt battle will find or meet me there." He sighed in resignation.

"Then I will see you there, Brother." Baldur grinned as he turned and marched to the head of the army to address them.

"He was grinning a little too much." Clark said suspiciously. "Even for him."

"He has been longing for a day like to day for centuries, my son." Odin reminded him.

"Father, he only gets that look when he is planning something with Thor."

If there was one thing Baldur often did when he brought Thor to the Kent Farm it was get involved with Dani and Kyla and their practical jokes. Of course Baldur was absolutely smitten with their little sister and would go to great lengths just to make her laugh.

Baldur stood in front of the crowd and nodded in thanks to Clark as he used his magic to raise him up slowly into the air so he could be seen.

"My Brothers!" The army of both men and women fell silent. "Long have lived in peace in our city. Long have we told our stories as we drank mead in our halls. Long have we had to listen to Volstagg tell his tale of defeating an Ice Giant by sitting on his face!" He said in exasperation as the army laughed and jeered the large and rotund warrior playfully.

"Thy sister adores that story!" The man in question called out.

"She also enjoys it when Death's Hand tells her to 'pull his finger'!" Baldur countered to more laughter. They had all laughed when Xander had actually done that in Odin's own throne room.

"But today my brothers, today we make new stories. Today we venture into an underworld and we seek to find the innocent and smite the evil. Today we take up swords once more and remember what it is to be a citizen of Asgard. We go forth in the name of the All-Father and we take up the mantle of our brother, Kal-El, guardian of Midgard.

"For Asgard!" Baldur shouted as he raised his sword.

"FOR ASGARD!"The army responded.

"For Odin!"

"FOR ODIN!"

Harry nodded to Clark who opened the portal using Aethyr and Nam-Ek's device.

Baldur turned and faced the portal, shouting one last time before he ran straight for it.

"HAVE AT THEE!"

"HAVE AT THEE!"

As the sound of thousands of Asgard boots pounded the Bifrost Bridge, Clark Kent buried his face in his hands.

Baldur had once again managed to prank him.

"You know it could be considered an honour and a compliment." Brunhilde offered.

"Take one look at the All-Father and say that again." Clark challenged.

Considering the Odin was turning red as he tried not to laugh, she really couldn't.

The Liberation of the Phantom Zone would go down in history as one of the greatest battles for the warriors of Asgard.

The denizens of this wasteland where numerous and vicious, the Asgardian men and women would come across little villages and settlements where there was clearly a slave system in place and they would descend on them with righteous fury.

Clark and Harry made their way to where they believed the portal out of the Phantom Zone was. They were accompanied by Odin, Neville and Miya.

The Sekirei's powers appeared to have been suppressed by the Phantom Zone, Clark's magic was also fairly spotty.

His divinity was not affected and he used his hammer and lightning to great effect.

It seemed that the Phantom Zone was a null area for magic.

That was drastically changing as Harry was putting out magic in tidal waves. Magic was no longer a separate entity and Harry was not simply tied to it. He created magic.

The immediate area around Harry was filled with a glowing white light. Everything in the Phantom Zone appeared to be almost white washed. It was dank and visually murky despite being a barren, dry wasteland.

Wherever Harry walked the sand became yellow and dirt… became dirt coloured.

"I really don't think this is just you releasing magic." Superman said thoughtfully as he walked beside Harry in his battle suit.

"Well it isn't like I've got much else to work with." Harry shrugged. "'Ere… ya don't think Ku managed to follow us in, do ya?" Harry asked in a terrible common English accent.

Even Hagrid would have grimaced.

Neville did and was firmly gripping his own conjured ladle in case Harry tried it again.

Miya eyed her eldest brother-in-law with amusement as they walked together behind Harry, Superman and Odin.

"I feel really guilty about leaving the others to fight alone." Superman grumbled.

"There are times when you need to lead from the front and there are times when you have to direct from the rear." Harry shrugged. "All of Asgard knows of you power, your adventures and that noble heart of yours. What we want the people of this Phantom Zone to see is that you are a leader so great that you can command an army as powerful as Asgard's."

"Technically Baldur's doing the leading."

"He is your field commander Clark." Neville spoke up from behind them. "He answers to you in this instance."

"And I answer to Harry and Odin." Superman nodded.

"Not this time, Kal." Odin shook his head. "For this endeavour you act as Death's Right Hand. That is the one position I told you that elevates you above myself. Today you lead the armies of Asgard as the declared equal of your brother, Death."

"It's about image Clark." Neville explained. "We are facing the most hardened criminals in this place. People without morals or restraint. These people need to think twice about facing you.

"If there are any innocent people then they need to see you as powerful and good. They need to feel that if they come to you then they will be treated fairly."

"Which is why we told you to wear your armour." Harry grinned as he thumped Superman's chest. "Your colour scheme makes you a beacon for those who need hope."

"And yet I am still walking next to you." He said dryly. "They will see me and then take a look at the large warrior with a spear, the hulking man behind us and the deadly woman in black with a sword."

"He does have a point, Harry." Miya said as she touched her watch and her uniform transformed into her favourite long skirt and blouse.

"I don't think there is much we can do about myself and Odin." Neville frowned. "What say we do a little exploring of our own, Lord Odin?" Neville said with a hint of a smile.

Odin nodded with his own smile. "Perhaps my spear will taste the blood of an enemy today. It has been far too long." He said as he moved off with Neville.

Harry looked at Superman and pouted. "You don't think they will be intimidated by me?"

"Not until they talk to you. Of course it won't be intimidation, it will be confusion." Superman smirked. "Miya, walk beside us. Good people do not have friends walk behind them."

Miya was not entirely happy with this change. "I would prefer to watch your back, Clark."

"And I would prefer to watch yours." He countered. "We don't always get what we want and what we need may actually be a separate and conflicting thing. We need to project an image of peace and hope. Having a woman walking in a submissive manner is not going to achieve that."

As they walked in the general direction that Lara had said the House of El's exit from the portal was, the group was being watched carefully by two sets of eyes.

"Do you think they can hear us?" Superman asked Harry.

"Who?" Miya queried.

"We are being watched." Harry explained. "Two souls on our seven o'clock about twenty metres back."

Miya was a professional. She was highly trained.

She didn't look.

"Are they dangerous?" She asked.

"I'm more concerned about the danger they are in." Superman sighed. "Their souls feel clean but they themselves are being stalked by some nasty souls."

"Yep. Get ready to suit up Sweetheart." Harry told his purple-haired wife.

Miya touched her watch again and her clothes morphed back into her Disciplinary Squad uniform.

"How many enemies are there?" Miya asked.

"Six. Feel free to kill. I'll be eradicating these souls." Harry said casually.

"I will deal with them now."

"Not without me you don't." Superman retorted as he pulled out his hammer. "I am fed up of sitting on the side lines for this one. Especially whilst the Aesir are spilling their blood in my name."

"I'll just go say hi to the other two." Harry grinned.

Superman had to stop himself from asking why Harry had conjured a large bone with plenty of meat on it. He couldn't see anything resembling a T-Rex but he still double-checked.

Superman jogged up behind Miya who was striding towards the approaching group of large intimidating men who did not look like they wanted to offer them a better phone deal.

Superman managed a glance at the two souls who had been trailing them and saw two figures in the common ragged cloaks found in the Zone. He was disconcerted that one looked to be the size of a child.

They didn't notice Harry approaching them as they were fixated on Superman and Miya and their impending clash with the Zoners.

"So what's a nice pup like you doing in a dump like this?"

The woman and dog who had been watching the colourful trio jumped to a defensive stance as the black haired, green-eyed man somehow had managed to get near them without making a sound.

"Stay back!" The blonde haired woman glared as the dog growled.

"Oh relax." Harry rolled his eyes. "If I intended to harm you I wouldn't have announced myself. I definitely wouldn't have come bearing gifts!" He grinned as he brandished the juicy bone.

"Who are you?" The woman demanded, keeping her distance even as the dog couldn't help but lick it's lips at the smell of fresh meat.

"Harry Potter, adopted brother of Kal-El over there." He said casually as he pointed at the duo who were literally ripping the Zoners to pieces.

"Kal-El… son of Jor-El?" She asked, her face paling.

"The very same. You knew Jor-El?"

"J-Jor-El sent me here to save me from the destruction of Krypton. He and Lara were supposed to join me after they had sent their son off." She said as her emotions threatened to overwhelm her. She looked at Superman as her eyes filled with tears. "Have I really been here so long that baby Kal has grown into a man?" She asked rhetorically.

"Nearly two Earth decades." Harry said softly. "I think you've spent enough time in this place. Both of you have." He looked at the dog and placed the bone on a conjured tray for it. "So what's your name?"

"Raya… I was Jor-El's assistant." She said… she wasn't entirely sure that this wasn't just a hallucination.

"And your friend?" Harry indicated the large white dog.

"Krypto… he was Jor-El's. He just appeared here soon after I did. He tracked me down and we've been together ever since."

Harry knelt down next the woman. "Raya, this is important, do you know of any other inhabitants in the Phantom Zone who might be innocent?"

"I know of some who still claim to be innocent, but I don't for sure." She admitted.

Krypto, having finished his bone began to sniff Harry. The dog was clearly fearful of the new man but there was something about his scent.

He finished sniffing Harry and began casting around.

"New friends Harry?" Superman asked as he and Miya walked up.

Krypto's head shot up and he howled happily before pouncing on Superman and licking his face vigorously.

"Weeell… one of them definitely is." Harry said dryly.

Superman lowered the dog to the ground and stroked and rubbed its head and back. "Why do I feel like I should know this dog?"

"Apparently, Krypto there was your family pet. Somehow he managed to get stuck in here where he's been keeping Raya here company. Raya was your father's assistant and sent her here to save her from the death of Krypton."

"Did it really happen?" Raya asked suddenly. "Did- did Krypton die?"

"I'm afraid so. There were a handful of Kryptonians that we know survived. Two were Disciples of Zod and one was my cousin, Kara-El. Her father and my mother stored their essence and DNA and we were able to restore them. We also have some form of orb that contains even more souls, including my father. We haven't restored them yet."

"I know of the Orb. I was working for your father when he made it." Raya admitted. "Why haven't you activated it? Krypton could be restored!" She pleaded.

"It isn't that simple, child." Miya spoke up. "There are complications that you need to be aware of and we need more information from you about the Orb. But now is not the time for that discussion. We should proceed to the gateway so we can secure it."

"Agreed." Superman nodded as he stood, giving Krypto one last pat. "Come with us. We will keep you safe until we can leave."

"I'm really leaving?" Raya asked as tears began to flow.

"Damn straight." Harry said firmly as he began marching towards their goal.

Finding the Gateway of the House of El was not hard. Anybody could find it but only the blood of the House of El could open it.

Whilst they waited for the army of Asgard and the Sekirei to return Harry, Miya and Superman began the process of bringing Raya up to date on the events since Krypton.

Eventually Neville and Odin strolled in looking a little disconcerted.

"We may have caused a slight problem by killing the guilty Zoners." Neville sighed. "They don't die so much as they become some form of wraith."

"Not a soul?" Superman asked.

"They were visible to all." Odin answered.

"What did you do to try and destroy these 'wraiths'?" Miya asked.

"Fiendfyre, Phoenix Fire, Patroni, the killing curse. If I knew the spell I tried it." Neville sighed. "I wasted a fair bit of my magical reserves."

Harry put a hand on Neville's shoulder and glowed.

"That's much better. Thanks." Neville said as he felt revitalised.

"I still believe it was futile to try your cleaning charms, all though it was amusing." Odin smirked.

Harry just grinned knowingly at Neville.

"Hey, if I knew it I tried it." He said defensively.

"Alright. You two stay here with Raya and Krypto. Clark and I will go and start mowing down the evil spirits." He turned to Superman. "Guess what Clarkie? It's Ghostbusting time!"

Harry strode off as Superman looked down to see that Harry had transfigured both their outfits into those the fictional spook hunters wore.

"We're one hundred percent positive that he's fit for normal society?" He asked Neville sceptically.

"Clark… Harry is the most powerful known being in Existence… he's the one who gets to define 'normal' society."

By the time Harry and Clark returned to the portal the rest of the Aesir had already arrived with the Sekirei.

Matsu took great pleasure in explaining to anyone who would listen about the costumes that her father and Ashikabi were wearing.

Clark just took it with his tired patience.

They quickly returned the Asgardians to Asgard before heading back to Earth. A meeting was called and those who could make it gathered in the great hall.

"I don't know what those wraiths were but they were immune to spells, divinity and physical attack." Harry grumbled.

"Were?" Lana asked hopefully.

"Oh yeah." Harry assured her with a dismissive wave. "I don't what they were but they still had souls. Clark and I squished those easily."

"Speaking of which, lets get this meeting done quick so I can shower." Clark shuddered.

"Dibs!" Matsu called out quickly.

"Damn it." Kyla hissed.

"You snooze you lose." Chloe laughed.

"What was the final tally of rescued Zoners?" Amara asked, saving Clark from further embarrassment.

"Well, Raya, who was sent in there for protection. Krypto who was also in there for some reason. Sixteen victims of politics and one truly interesting soul who had turned himself around and was acting as a bodyguard for the victims. He says he was a despicable murderer but his soul is practically shining. You telepaths might want to take a run at him, make sure he wasn't brainwashed or something."

"You found Raya and Krypto?" Lara said surprise and relief. "I thought she had died with us on Krypton. Krypto jumped into the portal to save Jor when the Zoners tried to escape just before the end."

"They are both with the others being checked over by Helen and Jean." Clark informed her.

Lara just nodded.

"What are you gonna do with the Phantom Zone now?" Kara asked.

"Not a lot. Might use it as a vacation destination." Harry shrugged.

"Is he slipping again?" Dani whispered loudly to Clark across the round table.

"No, not this time."

"Hey!"

"The place was a null zone for magic. His presence saturated the place and life is beginning to bloom." Clark explained.

"What is the plan for the rescued Kryptonians? Are we going to release the ones in the Orb and then help them settle on Earth?" Chloe asked.

"Actually, I thought that we could put Kandor on a new world and let the remaining Kryptonians settle there."

"Kandor was destroyed." Kara said sadly.

"No. My original self merely shrunk it and stole it before making it look like it was destroyed." Brainiac answered. "He tried to do the same thing with the Earth city of Metropolis. Then Xander Harris smashed his head in."

"And cut off his own arm." Dani snickered.

"Harry does the same thing." Clark smirked. "He just heals quicker than it can fall off."

"Traitor." Harry muttered.

"So the Phantom Zone is out of commission, the innocent should be ready for relocation within the week, we just need a plan to deal with the Orb." Emma summarised.

"Put Kandor on a planet with a red sun and then release the ones in the Orb." Lois shrugged. "Seems simple enough to me."

"Do we know of any inhabitable planets in a red sun system?" Scott asked Lana who began searching through the database.

"Sixteen. But only four are uninhabited and the others have no vegetation or life, the database says they are candidates for terraforming- oh… they were in the Kryptonian database as viable relocation planets in the event of Kryptons destruction." Lana remarked.

"Why the didn't they use them then?" Lois asked.

"Because my predecessor had all of the planet's systems tricked. Only Jor-El was aware of what was happening and the council refused to believe him." Brainiac answered.

Lara was glaring openly at the AI.

Martha placed a calming hand on her's from beside her.

"So you have a plan, what sort of timeframe are we talking about?" Batman asked.

"A week… month at the most." Laura shrugged.

"A month? To terraform an entire planet?" Lara asked in amazement.

"Our technology is thousands of years more advanced than yours in addition to being combined and enhanced by magic." Brunhilde explained.

"What do you think you will do once Kandor is restored and populated?" Clark asked Lara as she accompanied him on his chores around the Kent farm than evening.

"Are you asking if I will stay on Kandor?" She asked.

"It's not that big of decision." Clark shrugged. "We wouldn't offer it to everyone but for you and Kara we might be willing to install a portal door in your home so that you can easily visit."

"But I would still be far away from my son and all that he calls home." She said shaking her head. "No, I will stay and earn my place in this town and your life. The people here are very welcoming."

"We don't have any secrets from them. They've only known I'm not human for a few months but they don't care." Clark smiled proudly. "But what about Kara?"

"Kara will stay with me until she is of age." Lara said firmly. "She is my niece and now that her mother and father are gone she is my responsibility. But you are now the Head of House El. All decisions regarding family will ultimately fall to you."

"Just so you know, I answer to Martha and Jonathan as well as Xander and Odin. Xander is the ultimate head of the families. They are unlikely to interfere with my decisions but I look to them for advice."

"But not Harry Potter? I thought that he was your master, if you are his apprentice."

Clark just laughed. "We moved past that relationship a while back. I still serve him in matters of death, love, magic and souls but for the most part he is just my goofy older brother. If I want advice from his specific family I will talk to Amara, Brunhilde or Laura… Lorna on a good day."

"This world… it all seems so different compared to when I visited just before you were born." Lara said wistfully. "This town and farm were quiet, the farm was run by just Martha and Jonathan… now… there are so many people involved."

"Not how you imagined I'd be raised?" Clark asked wryly.

"No!" She laughed. "I thought you would live a very quiet life loved by two wonderful people."

"For most of my childhood I did." Clark assured her. "There were some issues with hiding the fact that I could run faster than the eye could see or that I could bench press the tractor, but at the same time those things made us closer.

"It wasn't until I reached High School and met Harry that things got… interesting." He grimaced.

"So you believe Harry Potter was responsible for all your adventures?" She asked curiously.

"Oh no. Harry and his family were responsible for keeping us out of trouble. Some of the bone headed stunts we pulled in an attempt to save people and bring justice to others… well… we were young, I'm now well into my second century and the girls are all adults.

"Even Chiho and Ryan are nearly full adults. Only Kusano is a child."

"And our sister, Thor."

Both members of the House of El spun to see Baldur standing there with his usual grin.

"What brings you Midgard, Baldur?" Clark smiled as he clasped arms with his brother.

"Lord Odin bid me to extend his invitation to the Lady El, he offers her the chance to dine with mother and himself so that we can explain more about your life among the gods."

Clark just looked at him with narrowed eyes. "You're just angling for more baby stories."

"Brother! You wound me!" Baldur said theatrically. "On a completely unrelated matter, we were hoping that one of the witches or wizards could come as w-" Baldur backed up slightly as Clark took a step towards him. "I believe I will just go and talk to the Lady Kent." He said before he turned and ran.

It was bad enough that Lara was looking forward to going, but she dragged Kara as well. Then Lois, Kyla and Matsu wanted to go… long story short the entire castle enjoyed a feast in the halls of Valhalla.

Clark nearly escaped until Frigga arrived with Thor and told him that Odin had ordered him to attend.

And so had Thor.

Clark was eventually saved from Dani telling some of his and Harry's early adventures by an unusual arrival to Odin's Hall.

Silence descended on the hall as the tall statuesque woman with black hair stood at the entrance.

"I seek an urgent audience with my Lord Death." The woman stated.

"Lady Hel, please enter." Odin said carefully. It was hard for the King of Asgard to reconcile this beautiful woman with the hag that she had previously been. Harry had healed her and remade her much like he had done for the Hel his goddaughter's child.

Hel quickly strode up along the table in her modest robes. Unlike the Hel of the X-Men's world she was still unused to her beauty.

When she reached Harry who had already moved to stand by Odin she dropped to her knee and bowed with her face to the floor.

"My Lord Death, I bring news of rumblings amongst the underworld gods."

"Rumblings?" Harry asked curiously.

"At first I thought them mere rumours about Hades consorting with a human sorcerer but this sorcerer has attacked the Daughters of Aphrodite."

The castle residents were immediately on their feet and in their uniforms startling Lara and Kara.

"Do you know anymore details, Hel?" Harry asked.

"No My Lord. I beg your forgiveness but I do not even know the name of the sorcerer." Harry didn't like the fact that Hel treated him like some vengeful being. Unfortunately she saw her new beauty as a gift that could easily be taken away should her Lord Aspect find her unworthy.

"You've done well Hel." Harry said as he helped her up. "Thank you."

"Father, I would req-"

"Your mother and cousin are most welcome to stay here in Asgard until you have dealt with the threat." Odin pre-emptively answered Clark's request. "Perhaps Jonathan and Martha would help the Lady Hel show them to your dwellings."

"We'd be happy to." Martha smiled widely.

Hel looked terrified at the thought. Odin was her grandfather but he had also been the one to banish her from Asgard for simply being ugly.

"As this involves the sacred daughters of Aphrodite I will not insult you with an offer of men as aid." Odin said as he looked to the aforementioned goddess. "But I wish you well in your endeavours and assure you that your kinsmen will be protected." He indicated the two farmers and two Kryptonians."

Harry and Clark landed on the island of Themiscyra with all of their wives, every single Sekirei from Karasuba to Kusano, Xander Harris, Poison Ivy and Jonathan Kent.

Jonathan was not a man to shirk his duties and he was Lord Regent of the Amazons and when his Queen and goddess needed him he would answer.

Although to Jonathan it was more about helping his daughter-in-law and one of his best friends to save the women and girls that had come to mean so much to him.

Xander was father to both Clark and Harry and mentor and teacher to these amazing women. Not even Harry as Death could keep him away.

All around them there were stone statues.

The sorcerer had turned the Amazons to stone.

"Harry, I have an island of granddaughters that have been turned to stone. Do something about that will you?" Xander said tightly.

"Sure thing Dad." Harry responded in kind as he slowly floated into the air.

They watched as a wave of pure white light slowly expanded out from Harry, hovering in the air until it covered the island. It took several minutes and they watched as it happened before it began to fall on the island like a blanket and the Amazons began to revert to their natural state.

As Harry floated back to the ground Aphrodite rushed up and knelt before him kissing his shoes and thanking him profusely.

Harry stood there and placed a hand on Aphrodite's head. "See to your daughters. I have a certain god to deal with." He added with a snarl.

As Aphrodite stood and joined Amara, Diana and Jonathan with checking the Amazons, Xander and Clark joined Harry.

"It is time I had a meeting with Hades. He answers to two people, me and Zeus and he just pissed me off. These women are my nieces through you and Aphrodite." He told Clark firmly. "Nobody messes with my family.

"You lead and I will happily follow." Clark assured him.

"Ditto." Xander growled.

"What about the sorcerer who did this?" Clark asked.

"I believe my granddaughters and daughter's in law can handle that." Xander said with dark smile.

Harry angrily threw open the doors of Tartarus that were situated beneath the Amazon city. Fire and flame belched past the doorway and licked at the three.

"Finished already Faustus?" Came a deep gravelly voice. "I am impressed."

"Is that the name of your pet sorcerer?" Harry sneered.

"Who is there?" The voice demanded.

"Your ultimate boss. Now get out here. You and I need to have a little chat about what you did to my brother's Amazons."

A fairly scared a pale face with shoulder length black curly hair and a goatee poked out past the doorway. "Lord Death?" The look of fear on the face was obvious.

"Front and centre Hades!" Harry barked.

Hades was a tall, muscular man dressed in medieval style armour with a cape.

He practically sprinted out and knelt before Harry.

"I can understand you want to escape your punishment but you pissed off more than just your brother Zeus this time." Harry scowled. "You managed to con some fool into helping you but you obviously didn't give him proper instruction! He turned everyone on Themisycra into stone you idiot! What do you think I would have done if Amara or Diana were there at the time?"

"What do you think Dani would have done?" Xander muttered.

Hades actually paled at that.

"What do you think Aphrodite wants to do?" Clark added.

"By the Titans!" Hades muttered fearfully.

"Even the Titans couldn't save you Hades!"

Harry, Xander and Clark flinched at the angry sound of Aphrodite stomping up from behind them. None of three needed to look to tell she was wearing what Kyla called her 'Divine Ball Busters'. Specially made adamentium stiletto shoes crafted by Hephestus of the X-Men's world as a gift from Venus and Aphrodite to their fellow Avatar of Love… just in case Clark and Harry got out of line.

"Aphrodite… Niece! I would never intentionally hurt y-urk!" Hades slumped forward onto his face holding his godhood.

"Don't you 'niece' me!" She hissed before she spun on her six-inch heels and stomped off.

"Take my advice Hades, stay in Tartarus and serve out your sentence. I'm adding another thousand years."

Hades head shot up in dismay.

"Do you really want to leave the safety of the underworld and face my wife?" Clark asked pointedly.

"I'll just go and close myself in." Hades said as he began backing away and bowing, one hand still cupping himself protectively.

"Any chance you can give us the name of your sorcerer?" Xander asked.

"What? Oh, right. Felix Faustus. I will… trick him into returning to the island so you can deal with him." He said before he quickly pulled the massive doors shut, sealing himself in Tartarus.

"That… was decidedly anti-climatic." Clark sighed.

"Gods of the underworlds are my avatars." Harry shrugged. "He answers to me."

"And the fact that one your wives chopped Ares into little pieces had nothing to do with it." Xander smirked.

Felix Faustus haughtily appeared on the Amazon island. He was about to march towards the gates beneath the city to receive the power boost from Hades that would put him on level with Superman himself! He would have no trouble retrieving the pieces needed to free Hades and gain his true reward.

What he received was the shaft of a spear to the face.

"OW!" He saw a blonde haired Amazon standing over him angrily. "You should be stone!" He said angrily as he clutched his broken nose.

The Amazon ignored him to look over him from his place sprawled on the ground. She bowed and stepped back.

"Yes bow bitch." Felix sneered. "You will still pay for this."

There was a sudden low buzzing noise and a beam of red appeared in front of his face. He followed the beam up to where it ended in a metal cylinder that he recognised as a lightsabre… which really shouldn't exist.

Holding the hilt of the 'lightsabre' was a skeletal hand protruding from out of a ragged black sleeve. He slowly turned to see the frightening figure of Death's Hand standing there.

He was so frightened that he stumbled backwards.

Into the blade of the lightsabre.

He quite neatly managed to cut his own head off.

Xander threw back his hood and dropped the glamours that made him look like a rotting corpse. "Now that was fricking anti-climatic!" He grumbled.

Around him the Amazons grimaced at the sight of the decapitated head and body.

"Well… his death was nice and terrifying. That has to count for something." Harry said consolingly.

"But I had this whole monologue prepared!"

"Which would have led to either him escaping or at the very least… a nasty smell." Clark pointed out.

"Take a step closer Junior. The smell happened anyway." Xander grimaced.

"Right… we'll leave you to clean up whilst we deal with his soul." Clark said as he backed away as the Amazons teleported out.

"Traitors!"

Harry just chuckled as he grabbed Faustus' soul and marched off. He led Clark back down to the gates of Tartarus.

"Not going to destroy him?"

"Sometimes a soul needs to suffer." Harry explained. "It serves as a warning to others and can actually aid in rehabilitation."

"Really?" Clark asked sceptically.

"We have prisons for a reason. Now get the doors will you."

Clark sighed as he walked up to the doors and pulled them open. "Hades!"

In short order the Greek God of the Underworld once again stuck his head out of the hellfire's with a look of curiosity.

"Oh… you found him already." He said as he saw the soul of Faustus in Harry's hand.

"Yes, make sure he learns the error of his ways, won't you." Harry said dryly as he handed him over.

Hades quickly jogged out and grabbed the soul from Harry. "Of course, of course My Lord." He then turned and strode back to Tartarus purposefully. "Now young Felix, I need to educate you on the perils of Greeks bearing gifts."

The rest of the day was spent sorting out the mess left in Themiscyra. With the Amazons trapped in stone the animals had run amok. Nobody questioned why Harry didn't just use magic to fix it, they just enjoyed the simple task of putting it all right by hand. They enjoyed the camaraderie.

"Harry, you've got Hades, Hel and various other underworld gods as avatars… do you have any that don't run versions of hell?" Kyla asked curiously.

"Sure. There's Rhadamanthus, he rules the Elysian Fields of the Greeks. He also judges the dead before sending the unworthy to Hades. There are also the Valkyries for the Norse. There are plenty of 'heavens' if you will."

"Don't forget he has the true Angel of Death as well who guides souls to the other side." Clark added absently.

"Who?" Harry asked in mild surprise.

Clark stopped pulling the wagon that a horse had managed to tip and looked at Harry. "Luna, the Angel of Death."

"Luna isn't an avatar." Harry argued.

"Luna is the most powerful of all your avatars!" Clark countered. "How can you not know she is one?"

"Honestly Clark, I thought you would have realised by now. I'm Harry's counterpart from the Afterlife."

The group turned to see Luna appear there, glowing softly.

"Erm… what?" Harry asked dumbly.

"Oh Harry." She said sadly as she walked up and patted him on the head. Which wasn't easy as she still looked like the young fourteen year old girl she had been when she died and Harry was a fair bit taller than her. "You do a wonderful job protecting souls on both sides of the Veil, but I make sure that no evil souls slip through."

"You can destroy souls as well?" Kyla asked.

"Oh no." She shook her glowing blonde head wildly. "But I can stop them from crossing over. They become ghosts or poltergeists and Harry and Clark deal with them."

"So all this time you've been my equal?" Harry asked incredulously.

"Of course not silly." She chided. "I answer to you. I just happen to be the only one in existence who can exist in both realms."

"So if Harry was to remake your body…" Kyla said leadingly.

"I could enter it and leave it at will." She nodded.

"Except I never memorised your DNA." Harry said sadly. "I didn't start doing that until I met the Cuckoos and they pointed out all the empty space in my head."

Luna, Clark and Kyla grinned widely at Harry.

"That is not what I meant." Harry grumbled.
