Chapter 1: That old tune

I am so screwed! Mike thought as he pulled up the camera once again only to have to quickly hit the bright red button and the door to his left slammed shut. He could faintly see the outline of Bonnie's large purple ears and to his surprise, he could see his glowing magenta optics from the office window. One purple finger tapped on the glass and Mike jumped lightly and swallowed the lump in his throat.

He watched as Bonnie then slinked off and he pressed the button again and the door swung open once more. He noted that Bonnie was now in the closet and he stared hard at the office camera again. He could hear that Chica was in the kitchen and Mike took note that she tended to stay there a lot. Freddy hadn't moved from the stage yet and Foxy was still in the cove as he could hear music

Mike leaned back into the office chair and let out a strained breath. He did not sign up for this but he, unfortunately, needed the money. But he was not ready to be killed by robots who wanted to kill him. It was his second night though, he remembered his first night and it had nearly cost him his life. Bonnie had gotten a hold of his arm and he thought he was going to lose it until the bunny malfunctioned and Mike was able to get away.

He rubbed his bandaged arm and shivered. He had been lucky on that one though, but it seemed that his luck was running out. If this night kept up he would run out of power and he definitely did not want that. He remembered the first night when he almost ran out of power and he never wanted that to happen again. Mike ran his other hand through his curly brown hair and his light grey colored eyes swung over to look at the clock. It read 2 AM and he groaned. It wasn't even close to the end of his shift.

Save Them

Suddenly Mike sat straight up and he looked around the office room all the while keeping watch on the four robots ready to kill him. Was he hearing things? That was a new voice, it was calm yet desperate in its plea. A sudden spike of pain washed over Mike and he crumpled out of the chair and onto his side on the floor of the office. His foot hit the rug and once the pain subsided he noticed that something was under the rug.

Being quiet so as not to draw attention to the robots in the building his hand wrapped around a latch on a trap door. Well, this was definitely not on the map. He thought as he pulled on the wooden latch and after a moment it opened. Stairs lead down to somewhere but it was too dark to see. Mike grabbed his flashlight from his waist and shined it into the darkness. Something glinted off of something down below.

This is a stupid idea, I should just leave this alone. He thought and yet something inside of his wanted to know what was below. He took a deep breath and stood up and walked down those stairs. Shinning his light down below he noticed that this place looked to be a basement. It had old posters from the restaurant and a few extra costumes of the Fazbear gang.

Mike's flashlight suddenly found what it had glinted off of. At the end of the large room sitting against the old white peeling wall was a large present box. It was white with purple stripes down the box and topped with a large purple bow. A frown passed over Mike's face as he approached the large box. The box came up to the man's hips making it quite large but he had never seen this before. He had to wonder why it was even down here. He paused as he heard the twinkling of music that softly started to play from the box.

Mike jumped as he heard the door to the basement slam shut putting the night guard in darkness. The beam from his flashlight was all he had and he watches as the box slowly opened. Sharp black spindle-like fingers came from the top of the music box as the top opened. He fell backward's onto his back and his eyes widened as the figure rose from the present box. It had barely risen from the box but he could spot four black and white buttons and white stripes across its arms. A white mask covered his face with purple stripes down the mask. But what was unnerving for Mike was the pinpoint white eyes that watched him.

He suddenly felt all of his simple little mistakes eat at him like they were a terrible thing. It felt like this puppet was staring into his very soul and burning it. Mike tried to calm himself as he noticed that it was simply staring at him snd not straight attacking him like the others had tried to do.

"Do not be afraid Michael." He heard a male voice say. It was calm and collected and yet there was a feeling of a threat behind the voice.

Mike had to bite back a scream as he heard the puppet talk to him, though its forever smile did not move. He stood up shakily as he heard heavy footsteps above him. He wasn't sure which robot it was but he held his breath. He was not about to get caught down here in the basement, there was no way out of here and if they knew were he was they would have him cornered.

His eyes widened though as the puppet rose from his box and litterally hovered above it. He reached out a long black finger and Mike tried to move away from him but was just a bit too slow. The finger touch his forhead and a spark like electricity shocked him. Mike crumpled like a sack of potatoes onto the tiled floor. The puppet simply hovered over the now unconscious Night Guard and looked him over almost like he was studying him.

After a long paused moment he floated back over to the large present box and climbed back inside. The lid shut closed and the gaurd continued to sleep there in the basement until morning. But as he did a golden paw reached out towards the young man as if to give comfort to a young child that was having a nightmare.
