Hestia groaned into her palms; the rumours were true. Honestly, she wasn't surprised that he would step so low he's done it twice before but never this cruel.
Sure, her nephew had been carless to forget about his oracles, but the awakening of Gaia and the war was not his fault.
She's sure that the other Olympians would've agreed with her, but Zeus was too much of a tyrant to disagree with.
Hestia's been thinking about this for awhile she'd stayed up many nights for it and now it was time to put the plan into action hopefully her brothers will learn from this.
It pained her to do this but her little brothers – the big three, have been getting out of control Zeus who for millennia hadn't given a second thought to the children he'd sired. Didn't feel any remorse after cheating on Hera showing her that she's not good enough, that she's replaceable, she was tiered of seeing her sisters sorrow having to comfort her when the bitter act crumbled.
Hades and Poseidon however weren't as bad Hades mainly spent his time brooding in the underworld, I mean what else could he do he was banished their cast aside like a broken toy for no reason. Left to be consumed with his hatred towards the people that were supposed to love him and except him no matter what. There was no denying that the ruler of the underworld still held a grudge after the business with the oracle's curse. Holding grudges is not only fatal for his demigod children.
Hestia hoped he learned to realize that and they'll resolve the issue.
There was nothing wrong with Poseidon other than his temper and mood swings.
As Hestia had said before it pained her to do this, she loved her brothers dearly, she'd been with them through their good moment. She'd embraced Zeus in one of the rare moments when he'd broken down, the pressure of ruling was too much for him at such a young age (This was after they reclaimed their thrones and ended their cannibal fathers reign). She calmed Poseidon's rage down after he regained immortality this was during the period were Zeus had turned him and Apollo mortal for punishment. And she was the first and probably only one who'd witness Hades' tears after the passing of Maria di Angelo.
The goddess of the Hearth had seen a side to the big three that no one had seen before.
And she knew that they needed this opportunity
"Hestia" someone said with glee Hestia turned around and was met with her sisters and Hecate goddess of magic all of whom agreed to help her.
"Come along it's time girls" she said a look of determination crossed her features.
Poseidon POV
Poseidon really hoped someone would show up the situation was too awkward he couldn't remember the last time he was alone with his brothers for this long.
The big Three all sat in their respective thrones looking annoyed, bored and awkward.
"It has been hours where are they I want to get this blasted meeting done with; I have better things to do" Zeus snapped messing with his master bolt.
"Forgive me your highness but when did I say that I give a f*ck" hades said emphasising on the ' highness '
Zeus faces twisted into a scowl and before he could cause anymore damage Poseidon intervened.
"Ladies, ladies enough you can settle your petty arguments later"
Now he was the subject off their glares, but Poseidon could live with that.
The three brothers settled into an uncomfortable silence that Zeus broke once again.
"They better have a good explanation for this"
"I'm sure that they do Zeus" Poseidon reassured him.
As if on que, Demeter rushed in panting and shaking something wasn't right and yes he did feel a bit concerned.
"Finally, you're hear we are the others" Zeus exclaimed. Idiot can't he see that somethings wrong.
Demeter looked up her face streaked with tears "Hurry we must go" her voice was quivering.
"What happened?"
She chocked back a sob " I-it's Hestia something happened to her we think she's fading"
Poseidon felt like the air had rushed out of his lungs
The room fell silent, no dramatic gasps, cries of shock nothing just painful silence.
"Surely your mistaken sh-she can't be it's impossible" Hades stuttered because unlike you mortals we couldn't die and the idea of losing someone dear to you forever was foreign to them.
"Come I'll take you grab on" Demeter ushered us towards her
As we were teleporting Poseidon could only hope that this was some cruel joke because his big sister, the person who'd practically raised him couldn't be fading he was sure that the others thought the same.
Once they had arrived Poseidon could immediately knew something was shady about this pace it had traces of ancient magic.
The place overall was nice in a homey looking way just so you know it was a mansion
"Where's Hestia" Hades called out his brows creasing in worry
The all too familiar 8-year-old figure of his eldest sister emerged through the fire "I'm right here brothers and I am well"
Zeus barked "What kind of trickery is this we thought you were-"
"Tell me little brother were you worried" Hestia smiled reaching out to take hold of Zeus's hands
"I well um n-yes" Zeus stuttered looking down.
Wow what a sight to behold the mighty king of the Olympians gone all flustered after being called out by his sister.
"To answer your questions we have brought you here to teach you a lesson." She sighed " I have grown tiered over your failures as fathers and Zeus what you have done to your son was unacceptable"
"Wha-"Zeus spluttered his royal nostrils flaring
"Enough!" Hestia raised her voice which shocked them all into silence "You will spend time here to learn from your mistakes and give your children the childhood that they deserve speaking of your children here they are"
With their mouths gaping the Big three all turned around to meet 16 small bodies all sleeping but they couldn't be their children they were too young unless-no
The metal doors clamed shut and Zeus ran to them collapsing onto the floor pounding on them with his fists
"Hestia, Hestia please you can't do this to me" Zeus cried out
Poseidon and Hades however could only stare in shock this was not going to end well
