Poseidon POV
Poseidon didn't really know what to think, on one hand he was relieved that his sister was perfectly healthy, but on the other hand he was sort of pissed at her for doing this to them.
He was really lost; he'd never been surrounded by this many children before. Plus, he never really had the best relationship with his offspring, he knew that he wouldn't be getting World's best father award any time soon.
Awkwardly clearing his throat, he turned to his older brother seeing as Zeus was drowning in self-pity by the door.
"Uh what should we do now" Gods he would do anything to leave this place now.
Hades gave him a look of disdain "Wow Poseidon shut up we don't need your stupid questions at a time like this".
Poseidon chose to ignore the pang in his chest, he cautiously walked up to the sleeping children.
He found exactly who he was looking for a little boy probably about one with messy black hair and chubby cheeks.
His heart warmed at the sight of his son, the baby that he loved so dearly but never had the chance to see. Smiling softly, he lifted Percy up and cradled him to his chest.
Percy squirmed a little then melted back into his father's chest.
Poseidon sighed in content enjoying the peace and quiet.
*Short time skip*
That peace and quiet didn't last for long though slowly the children began waking up one by one.
They were mainly confused the only one who didn't seem fazed was Athena who had gathered up all her siblings and began bossing them about.
Of course, she was still a pain in the podex at 10 years old.
Poseidon himself was surrounded by his offspring three-year-old Triton, 5-year-old Rhode and kymopoleia.
He admits that he wasn't the fondest of his eldest daughter Kymopoleia. She was too destructive, and they didn't have the best relationship considering he had banished her.
Hades was staring at his children longingly looking like he wanted to go closer but was too afraid.
But Zeus was standing in horror with his hands on his face moaning 'no' repeatedly.
As Poseidon said before he wasn't the World's best father, still he was quite sure that you shouldn't let an aggressive little boy swing a screaming infant around.
He was about to intervene, but Athena had snatched the small boy from Ares's hands screaming at him for his 'stupidity' and 'barbaric nature' her words not his.
Shrugging he went back to his own children, grinning at the fact that Zeus would have his hands full with all his rug rats.
Poseidon led his hoard children to the 3rd floor and couldn't help but marvel at the décor, it wasn't too over the top it had a cosy feeling to it.
There were three bedrooms, a nursery, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and a lounge.
Perhaps they could make do with this arrangement for the time being.
It was now midday and the kids were acting up probably board out of their minds.
"Kymopleia!" Poseidon snapped "Stop pulling your sisters hair!"
The 6-year-old glared at him defiantly her delicate features twisted into a scowl.
"No, I'm not scared of you!" she shrieked.
Poseidon massaged his temples trying to keep his temper in check so far, he had broken up one fight dealt with a mouthy six year old, a whiny 5 year old and three tantrums.
The only one who hadn't gave him trouble was Percy, his perfect boy who had been asleep this whole time.
But now he was definitely awake if the consistent babbling from the baby monitor had anything to say about it.
Poseidon couldn't help but admire how much of a charmer his boy was, having him around calmed the girls down as they proceeded to coo over the drooling and giggling baby on his lap.
Percy began squirming.
"Down, down!"
Poseidon couldn't help but grin as he set the boy on the floor and watched him toddle around holding the hands of the girls.
He was just about to get up when a small hand tugged on his sleeve.
"What's wrong now Triton" He sighed
"Father carry me" he pouted sticking his little nose in the air like a spoiled prince.
"Sorry your majesty but daddy's a little busy now I have to go make Percy his food".
Triton's little face scrunched up into a scowl sticking his tongue out at his father's back.
Poseidon rummaged through the draws and the cabinets looking for something suitable to feed a one-year-old.
What does a one-year-old even eat?
Gods you mortals are so complicated.
