I have gained so much respect for people who do this shit. Keeping track of all the numbers while also balancing it out is absurd and something i have failed to do. From now on expect inconsistency when it comes to the game numbers but its the spirit that counts! I went back and removed stamina points cause its just annoying and ive replaced it with something that makes my life a hell of a lot easier.

Skill levelled up!
[Pyromancy; Novice] LVL 83/100
Sweat was flowing down his brow as Leo marvelled at the destruction he had caused. The tattered remains of magically reinforced dummies were scattered around the room, while the walls were marred with scorch marks. It was a good job that Azazel had used stronger wards on the walls than the dummies or there would be gaping holes all over the place.
In the 7 years since he had gained his first level up he had been striving for strength every day and seeking to improve himself. Gone was the brat who would accidentally blow up his fathers office and in his place was the brat who would do it on purpose.
Life had improved vastly since that day of slaughtering ants at the park. Not only was he surviving, but he was thriving (sort of). While he had completed the first two stages of his current primary quest, he still had over 4 years to go till he acquired his weapon. That still gave him enough xp to level up to level 14.
Upon reaching level ten he was delighted to find out that all his health received a 100% modifier. His physical stats apart from constitution were slightly higher than the human average of 10

To see that he only needed 11 more levels to upgrade his racial class again made him wonder about the power scaling. Until he remembered where he was. Ajuka Beelzebub was able to take out multiple ultimate class devils without even standing up and Indra could fight all the devil kings at the same and win all while beings like Raynare and Viser existed. Power scaling was accurate.
Racial class upgrades were the primary source of power for most supernatual beings and upgrading your class got you exponentially stronger each time.
Despite all his progress he ran into the same problem he had 7 years ago and that was that he was bottlenecked for XP. Leo had learnt that to gain experience from a kill, the target needed to be hostile to him. He had learned this from two separate stray dogs.
One had come up to him with tail wagging, seeking attention. He had reluctantly dispatched it with a spear of light through its skull only to learn that he had not acquired any XP.
Another time the stray attacked him first. After dispatching it with the same method he had gained a meager 10xp.
I guess ants don't like me then.
Leo raised his hand to cast magic. Summoning three spears of light with the last of his mana. Pointing them at the last surviving dummy in front of him.
You cast [Spear of Light x3]
MP:15/12360
Before they were sent hurtling at the dummy at the speed of sound, tearing it apart.
You dealt 2250 piercing damage.
A typical light spear cost 500 mana to summon, but due to his racial trait the mana usage was halved. His pyro many spells were more dynamic with the mana used being anywhere from 500 to 2500 depending on the power put into the spell. Infusing his flames with holy properties unfortunately did not have reduced costs from his racial abilities.
With no dungeons his only method of getting significantly stronger was to train his skills. Physical skills were still quite hard to train. He had gained both [Athletics: Novice] LVL 87/100 and [Boxing: Novice] LVL 45/100 increasing his stamina, stamina regeneration, agility and attack power.
[Athletics] was particularly useful, giving him a 1% reduction in fatigue gain for each level.
His real strength was his magic. He had a really high mana pool for his level and his skills were already comparable to 4 wing fallen or to a middle class devil. He was able to summon over a dozen light spears and cause massive damage with his unexplained Pyromancy.
While he had maintained a good relationship with his father. Leo had been under constant scrutiny for his control over flames. No fallen ever, nor his mother had the power to control fire like he had.
Despite this, his father had still helped him to level up his magic at every stage even though he often felt like a lab specimen during his training with Azazel.
Skill Leveled Up!
[Light Magic; Adept] LVL 23/100
Nice! Leveling up 2 skills in a single day.
Leo had come far.
"Is that all for today, My Lord?" Chimed Albedo from behind him before bringing over a bottle of water.

DEX: 500
INT: 600

Obedience: 95/100
Using [Observe] on Albedo, now being able to see her stats due to high obedience showed him how far he really had left to go. Her strength was that of a strong 6 winged fallen angel.
Obedience was another stat that was revealed when he acquired some with Albedo. It was almost like the system was making things up as it went along
Compared to his guardian he was a speck outside of magic (though his magic was still weaker),and she was a speck herself when compared to the strongest beings, despite leveling over 20 times since he first met her.
That was another thing that was bullshit about this world. Everyone else could naturally gain strength through standard means up to their potential according to Cera. While he had to rely on gaining XP as his primary form of gaining strength. Their levels were just a representation of their skills and not always exactly related to their true strengths.
As Cera had put it.
"Just because someone is good at their magic doesn't mean they aren't stupid."
"Thank you Albedo. And no, I want to work on my physical strength as well." He said before taking a sip. Smiling at the older woman. She had been with him for 7 years now taking the role of an older sister in his life. From that day at the park he no longer caused permanent trouble for his father and she had almost been dismissed till he had asked to have her stay. She had been a great help in training his physical abilities as well as learning more about the system. Apparently affection/reputation slowly decayed before it hit 50. After hitting 50 it no longer decayed.
"Your magic is incredible as always and you're building up your endurance. You should take it easier though , My Lord." Albedo said with a caring but worried tone. She began to towel away the sweat from his face as she spoke. Leo frowned at her words.
"You know I can't. I have a much weaker body than most fallen. So I have to work harder to strengthen it." He was about to turn away from her before he was pulled into an embrace by her. His face planted in between her soft breasts causing him to grow hot.
"That is true. But that is exactly why I am concerned. You are still very young, my Lord. I don't doubt you will one day be the strongest but you have to reach that day first. Anyway I believe it is time for your medicine."
Albedo materialised the medicine she had stored before feeding him it. Their relationship was strange. It was a master servant relationship but held motherly/sisterly aspects. Leo was sort of disappointed as he wasn't sure if their relationship would develop more as he got older. On the other hand he was happy because he loved spending time with Albedo.
"Oh how I wish I was in your place, Leo." His fathers voice caused him to try to push away from Albedo, but she continued to hold him firm in her steel grip. "Already hitting it off with the ladies and you're barely 11, you're my son alright. Care to let me have a turn Albedo?"
Azazel
Level: ?
Obedience: 0/100
"Sorry, Lord Azazel. I must turn you down on that request." Replied Albedo.
Azazel came walking into his private training room in a burgundy bathrobe and slippers, a glass of gin in his hand. He looked around at the carnage and smirked. "Shame. Looks like I missed a lot of fun today. Would have been much better to watch you blow things up than to go to that stupid meeting."
Azazel made his way over to the pair, Leo still in Albedo's arms. He looked at him with affection and something else… curiosity?
"Hello father," Said Leo. Looking up at the taller man. It was still jarring for him to be so short. In his previous life he had been 6'3 so to be looking up to literally everyone felt a bit weird. "Will you help me train tomorrow?"
Having a teacher greatly helped his skill growth when training. That was why his [Light Magic] had already leveled up to rank 2. He had learned to infuse his flames with holy properties thanks to Azazel. Though it used up too much MP to practice properly.
Most skills were divided into 5 tiers; Novice, Adept, Skilled, Expert, Master. Cera had said something about a quest to level up a skill to its final rank, though he couldn't be bothered to his remember much about it.
"You really are a gym nut aren't you? How about we relax tomorrow! I should be able to put off work." Azazel ruffled his hair as he spoke. Father is always more than happy to help me train. Why does he want to call it off tomorrow?
"Come on. Let's go get something to eat." He said before walking out the room. "See you tomorrow Albedo!"
"My Lords." She said courteously, bowing to Azazel and himself as they left the room. Leo gave her a small wave on the way out, not noticing the worried look she was giving him.
Leo followed his father through their home. Countless artifacts and collectables lined the walls. Swords, comics, armor, games, strange devices and figurines. The series had described Azazel as an avid collector. He was a hoarder and all the junk in their house proved that.
The pair soon came upon the living room. It was a large room with a massive wall mounted TV, a black leather sofa and a large window that currently had the dusky skyline of Antwerp as its view. Under the television was every console known to man with piles of games, shows and animes.
"It's always the same. These fallen had problems with some exorcists. This guy tortured the man who fucked his lover. Some devil contractors were killed, now they want revenge." Complained Azazel throwing himself on the couch and reaching for the remote. He had been ranting about his day at work all through the house after Leo had asked him how it was. This is what I get for trying to be polite.
Leo sat down with his father as he was scrolling through the channels they had before it came upon the Devils news service. Something about a new show by the devil kings Leviathan.
"Oh yeah! That reminds me there is a stray devil in Brussels not far from here! No reported deaths yet but we have influence over a large part of Brussels, they will probably be dealt with in a couple of days so there's nothing to worry about."
Why was he telling him this? Azazel was never one to talk about work outside of the occasional rant like the one he had before. The information itself was interesting, stray devils were uncommon in big cities and they often kept to the outskirts where it was much easier to feed unnoticed. Perhaps they would give a decent amount of XP but Leo had never been able to find one to see if they did.
Stray devils would be easy pickings. While his own strength was just higher than a humans, his magic would be able to more than match them. The monsters were often unable to control the demonic power the Evil Pieces implanted in them causing them to mutate into grotesque figures along with being unable to use the magic that they possessed. Some could retain some semblance of sanity and maintain their form to lure food to their feeding ground, not that it made much of a difference.
"...Leo!" Azazel's shout brought his attention back to him. "Deep in thought?"
"Yeah…" Leo muttered.
"Well what do you want to eat? I'm ordering food?"
"Kebab."
"Think you can get me a quest for killing that stray devil, Cera?"
"Who do you think I am. Your personal quest distributor?" She said nonchalantly.
"That's literally what you designed for, Cera."
"You're testing your luck, bug boy. Take your quest and don't come crying to me when it blows up in your face.
Quest Gained!
[Devil Slayer]
Slay the stray devil lurking in Brussels and use it to increase your strength!
Rewards: 25000 Gold, 20000xp, x15 bonus stats
Gold. He hadn't acquiredany yet but apparently there was a shop he could purchase stuff from with it.
"Hey Cera. When am I going to get access to the shop?!"
"When you get gold."
There was a simple solution for that…
Flying was something Leo had come to really enjoy. He had grown his first pair of wings when he was 5 and his second pair not that long ago after he turned 10. Albeit they were smaller than his first pair right now.
When he had first flown it was like he had been set free from reality. Soaring high above the clouds before plummeting and incredible speeds, only to spread his wings and come to a halt.
Right now he was on his way to Brussels, but at full speed it would barely take him 2 minutes. He was still thinking about why his father would tell him something like this perhaps he could be wanting him to go after the devil? Either way, Leo was not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Experience was hard to come by.
From his inventory he withdrew a dagger that glowed white. It had taken a while for him to realise he even had an inventory. Of course I should have one. I'm a gamer!
[Vatican Dagger]
A dagger made and blessed for a single use. Upon use a shard breaks off and stays in the devil poisoning it should the holy blade not kill it.
+20 Attack Damage
Durability 1/1
Inflicts severe light poisoning to unholy creatures as the shard works its way to the heart.
Essentially it was a holy Morgul Blade used to slay devils instead of creating wraiths. In theory he could kill someone like Directs with it.
He had been rather disappointed in his first gacha role getting a single use dagger despite them being rare. On the brightside he could use that dagger due to his trait [Natural Holy Sword Wielder] and it would be a good last resort should he ever need it.
Fallen Angels, surprisingly, could not naturally use holy swords. He had questioned that when initially making his avatar. Being able to wield holy weapons would be useful due to the sheer power of some of them possessed.
Storing the knife in his inventory, Leo continued to soar through the night sky, his black wings spread behind him.
Before long Leo was above the Grand market square. His wings flapping to maintain his attitude and the wind blowing past his ears. He could sense the magic of the stray among the countless humans in the square with his skill unsurprisingly called [Magic Sense - Skilled] Lvl 15/100, and began to observe him with his enhanced vision.
The devil in question was a handsome man appearing in his early 50s with white hair and black eyes. He was currently conversing with a younger human woman with blonde hair. While Leo couldn't hear the conversation from this high up it was obviously flirtatious in nature. His next victim I assume.
What seemed like hours the stray stayed in the market Square. Leo would have loved to admire the architecture and atmosphere the lighting presented, but his focus was solely on the stray. Observe was unable to be used on the stray due to the distance and interference around him.
Eventually, the stray left the square with the woman from earlier. He took her through countless turns in the streets. It actually ended up getting hard to follow from the sky and he landed to continue his pursuit, mentally commanding the bystanders to ignore him and move out of his way.
Before long they came upon an urban warehouse. The woman looked uncomfortable at the prospect of entering the building with the man before visibly relaxing and following him inside. Leo could feel the magic being used.
Looking around before following, Leo ran up to the door. He could feel the wards on the building preventing him from sensing inside.
Leo pushed open the door and prepared to enter the building, fully expecting to find the stray feeding. He would be easy to dispatch then if he wasn't alerted. Even if he was, holy fire would easily cremate him if the magic power he sensed was anything to go by.
It was dark as he entered. There was nothing stored in the warehouse and nothing could be heard. Leo could see the silhouette of a person standing in the middle of the wide open room, highlighted only by the light from the open door behind him.
Cautiously he made his way closer to the silhouette. It was the woman. She was standing frozen in place, completely unmoving.
Leo made his way round to look at her face. Her eyes were glazed over and a drunk smile was plastered on her face. Behind her, where he had just come from was another silhouette which made his stomach drop. Standing in the doorway was a male figure that wasn't there when he entered. The door slammed shut.
"So you were the presence following me. A baby Fallen pigeon, too far from the tree he calls home." The sinister voice spoke from all around him. Leo began to panic slightly, whipping his head around to try and find the source.
"A baby pigeon so arrogant he came all alone."
You cast [Flame Wave]
You hit nothing!
MP:11860/12360
The flames burst to the right where the voice had come from, illuminating the walls where no one stood in front of. Leo had intentionally put less magic into the spell, only using if for lighting.
"A fallen that can use flames?! Interesting…" The voice was whispering in his ear, till Leo turned and blasted him with a wave of holy fire.
You cast [Holy Fire Wave]
You dealt 50000 Damage!
MP: 6934/12360
Holy modifier deals x25 damage to unholy creatures and can not be mitigated.
Holy shit. Now that's a lot of damage!
It was nice to know he could potentially one-shot a devil as strong as Albedo who was high class in strength.
Leo was satisfied with himself until he heard the agonising scream of the devil that was obviously still alive. Guess he must have been pretty strong. Leo turned to the devil and could see his face melting and steaming, blood streaming down onto his pristine white cloak. He was arrogant, looking down on him just because he was a kid.
His steps echoed throughout the warehouse as he walked up to the devil and prepared to finish him.
[Observe]
Galliard, Ultimate Class Stray Devil
Level: ?
Reputation: -100/100
HP:70000/120000
What!?
He had that much health? He was that strong? He was ultimate class?
"AAARGH. I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS FROM TRUSTING THAT FALLEN BASTARD!" The stray screamed for scrambling away faster than Leo's eye could observe. "So this is how I get stabbed in the back…"
A chill went up his spine and a cold sweat began all over his body. Not just from the change in tone of the voice, but the malevolent all encompassing aura that was emitting from the monster who was now standing on the opposite side of the room looking down at the floor. I've bit off way more than I can chew!? I need to escape!
Leo had never felt fear like this. Not in either of his lifes. The fear right before imminent death.
[Gamer's Mind] was the only thing stopping him from breaking down and crying. The only thing stopping his legs from giving out.
Slowly, Leo began to back away, until he was suddenly slammed into the wall 20 meters behind him by the man that was over 100 meters away from him less than a second ago.
You received 100 damage!
HP: 40/140
Your injuries caused internal bleeding! You will take 2 damage every minute and not regenerate until healed. Sleeping in a bed will not cause health regeneration.
"How pathetic." Snarled the stray that was holding him in his own crater. "Such a powerful attribute in such a frail, pathetic body. How dare a pigeon look down on me…"
"To send a child after me after all these decades promising to let me live in peace." Confusion must have been visible in his eyes as the devil began to laugh after looking into them. Oh yeah… Devils can see in the dark.
HP:37/140
"Were you expecting some hulking abomination when you were told about a stray devil?!" The stray's grip tightened around Leo's throat as the melting face came closer with a lip less grin and red eyes glowing in the dark. "Let me tell you a few things before you die, kid. Strays who appear normal… Are the real monsters."
"It takes strength to control the demonic power of an evil piece without a master, and you just pissed a strong fucker off. It really is a shame to kill you, such unique colouring and powers for a fallen. I don't like destroying unique things." He lifted the hand up that wasn't being used to hold him and red lightning that radiated eldritch power began to crackle from it.
"Cera… Help…"
"I can't…" Her voice was filled with despair… He was going to die here.
"DUCK!" Cera screamed at him through their connection. Leo did so just in time for the lighting covered hand to take out a massive chunk of wall where his head had previously been.
You cast [Holy Eruption]
You hit nothing!
MP: 13/12360
Leo had just regenerated enough mana to cast the spell eruption and infuse it with holy magic. Causing flames to erupt from his body and incinerate the air in front of him. The stray was obviously too fast to get caught in the flames.
HP: 33/140
"Such a shame. How could you do that to a pretty face like hers?!" The stray said with a mock condemning. He glanced at the now charred corpse of the woman from the balconies above, making sure to keep his focus on the young fallen that caused it.
Leo hadn't cared much for the woman's safety. His change in race along with his [Sin of Pride] left him rather uncaring for the fate of insignificant people like her. While he was glad that he was not malicious in nature, he certainly didn't care if his actions caused unnecessary deaths.
"Crying over spoilt food are you?!" Leo said with a wheeze. He was exhausted with his [Fatigue] sitting at a catastrophic [93] and out of mana for casting holy fire, all he could do now was bluff.
His high mana regeneration would allow him to cast some basic light magic in the next few minutes. It wouldn't be enough though. It had to be enough though.
"Don't you listen, you brat!" A vicious tone returned to the devil's voice. "Of course I wasn't going to eat her. I was going to enjoy HER for the night you moron!"
Leo began to slowly make his way to the door in where he entered from. All while facing the stray as he ranted.
"It does hurt you know… Everyone thinking I'm a slobbering beast, just because I'm a stray. I'm gonna have a long chat with Azazel after this, that bastard is gonna pay…"
Wait, this guy knows Azazel?! Leo was dumbfounded except for his [Gamer's Mind]
at the new information.
"Wait! How do you know Azazel!" Leo asked, desperately trying to buy time for some more mana to return and his fatigue to settle slightly.
The stray replied with;
"What does that matter to someone who's dead?"
A massive blast of demonic lightning was sent his way. Time seemed to slow down as the tendrils of power creeped ever closer. In reality they were travelling faster than the eye could see. But to Leo they were as fast as a snail.
[A Mother's Protection]
Your mother used the last of her magic to enchant you with protective magic.
20% resistance from magic attacks.
A single prevention of death.
"How strong you have grown my little lion." His mother appeared before him, just as beautiful as the short amount of time he got with her. She came forward and kissed his forehead before backing off to grace him with a loving smile.
Don't leave me…
"I will never leave you Leo. Promise me you won't die today." She said before she began to fade. "Promise me you will achieve the greatness you are destined for…"
"I promise." Leo replied with tears in his eyes
Purple mist engulfed him as the demonic power hit him, forming a barrier capable of blocking any attack in the world. Behind him the wall glowed after being super heated by the demonic lightning. Leo stood there, completely unharmed from the attack.
"What in Satan's name!" The devil was shocked his attack did no damage. Rightly so. And I was happy about possibly being able to one-shot a high class devil… This world is absurd.
"Guess I shouldn't try to reduce the collateral damage." Leo went temporarily deaf at the sound of the explosion. The entire warehouse was torn apart from the force of the attack and the street… and the buildings next to the warehouse… and the building across the street.
But Leo was completely fine.
HP: 16/140
Mostly.
"What is this shit. No… is that?!" The stray was huffing now as well. Obviously having used a lot in that last attack.
Dimension Lost. The high tier Longinus. And it was his. He had been wondering when he would get access to his sacred gear. Leo thought he may have to do a quest to unlock it. But here it was, he was far from disappointed. Thank you Fortuna for all the love.
Another blast was sent his way only to be nullified by the mist.
"Use the dagger…"
Equipping the dagger, Leo slowly began to make his way towards the devil that literally rained down a constant stream of hell lightning on him.
When Leo was right in front of the monstrous opponent he lost what little cool he had left.
"JUST DIE! YOU SON OF A BITCH!" The stray screamed as he raised his hand for another gigantic blast.
You cast [Spear of Light x3]
You hit nothing!
MP: 0/12360
Leo surged forward as he cast the light spears. They were easy to dodge for such a formidable being, but they threw him off enough to allow Leo to surprise the devil with his own attack and pierce his heart…
Critical Strike!
You dealt 65000 damage!
You inflicted severe light poisoning!
Galliard slumped, a horrific look of disbelief !
over his melted face. "Well shit…"
As he pulled the dagger from the devil's chest the end broke off like it was meant too. The pair watched as the dagger crumbled into light in his hand.
"Guess I like the sound of my voice too much… That was a surprisingly fun fight for how path… how pathetic you are..." The dying devil was beginning to wheeze now. His skin turning gray and beginning to crack. "Kid, tell Azazel to neck himself for me…"
Galliard began to crumble as the wind blew him away.

"You almost died due to your own arrogance, boy. Be more careful in the future… You can't fulfil your promise if you're dead."
"Promise?"
"To slay the Absolute Being for me…"
He had totally forgotten about that. It was nice to know that Cera cared for his well being though, even if it was to meet her own ends.
Leo realised where he still was when he heard sirens in the distance. The part of Brussels he was in had been turned into a crater.
[Fatigue 100]

That wasn't good. His health was still dangerously low and his internal bleeding hadn't stopped.

Yes! I'm not going to get friend zoned!.
Wait. What was Albedo doing here?! Leo turned to the beauty who was descending from the orange sky. It appeared he had been up all night.
Leo began to collapse before he was caught by his companion. She carefully picked him up in her arms bridal style… How embarrassing.
"You were incredible my Lord. Your father will indeed be happy with the results." She whispered to him with a tender tone.
Leo looked up in the sky again and saw his father in this new world flying above them. All 12 majestic wings out staring right at him with a knowing and mischievous smirk.
