(To answer a question left in the review section, Emma hid the fact she could shift, only revealing it Killian when he finally saw her. Though you can imagine she definitely took advantage of the fact she was unshackled even only for a few minutes when she was alone!

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, I hope you enjoy!)

Nine.

She couldn't believe it. Killian's lips were on hers, kissing her so passionately her breath could barely keep up. But yet, she wanted more. She responded to his kiss, her hands on his torso, she felt like her whole body was on fire. Killian's grip on her waist brought her even closer to him, actually sitting on his lap. His fingers in her hair was driving her crazy. She was losing control. She needed him like she needed air, and she craved more each second his lips were on hers.

It was not a sweet, innocent kiss. Killian was passionate, claiming his hold on her, wanting her. Their body's entangled dangerously, and she felt a wildfire ignite inside of her. She thought she was going insane. Emma didn't even know she could be so indecent, but there she was, responding to Killian's kiss with all her might. Her clumsy hands around his neck and on his bare chest. It was like her wolf was taking over her. She was... reckless, and hot all over. The taste of his lips, his hard breathing, his hands all over her body were driving her crazy.

All of a sudden he stops, pushing her back onto the bed and held her wrists down. They were both panting, looking into each other's eyes.

"Okay, stop, stop, Emma. If we keep going..."

She nodded, she knew what he meant. She could feel his wolf going wild, and she could barely hold her own. Her wolf might be ready, but Emma didn't think she herself was. Well, she wasn't sure about it. She just knew she'd felt like she'd went through hell and heaven altogether, but she knew her wolf was doing her share, too. She was so excited that Emma couldn't quite tell how she felt herself anymore. She needed a clear head, but right now she was just dizzy. She needed to catch her breath. She touched her cheek, feeling the heat coming from it, they must be so red from blushing.

"Sorry, I..." She didn't know what to say. Everything was so confusing. Killian leaned down and planted another kiss on her lips, a more quick and innocent one this time.

"Stay there, you need to eat something now. I'll go get Blue."

She knew he could have just used his mind link to ask her, but they needed a moment of distance between them to cool down. He exited the room quickly. She was such a mess, Emma knew she was bright red from blushing and she could barely catch her breath. Sitting up and adjusting Killian's T-shirt she wore, she ran her fingers through her hair in an attempt to brush it roughly.

She still couldn't believe it. It felt like she'd just gotten off an emotional roller coaster. Her heart was beating like crazy, and her wolf wasn't acting any more decent either. She couldn't stop smiling. Emma was so happy she'd finally managed to get Killian to trust and understand her, but she wasn't expecting what followed! She was so glad he was the first she'd shown her wolf form to.

"Emma?" Blue knocked on the door before stepping into the room, carrying a large table tray. She felt so embarrassed facing her after what had just happened, she couldn't help but glance down. She looked at her self, realising she was still only wearing Killian's T-shirt. It was big enough to cover her thighs, but she still felt embarrassed. Shooting off the bed, she quickly grabbed a new outfit, running to the bathroom to change, making Blue laugh.

"I know where I've seen that T-shirt! Emma, you naughty girl!"

She was so humiliated, she could die. Trying to ignore Blue's laughter she quickly changed into her denim skirt and white top, an outfit that actually matched her taste. Once she was dressed more decent, she looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was a slight mess and her cheeks were still rosey, but it wasn't that bad.

When Emma exited the bathroom, she flew straight to the bed and stubbornly concentrated on her lunch, ignoring Blues amused glances.

"Well, I'm happy to see you're feeling better, honey. Ruby was worried, too, you know." She didn't look she would try to ask difficult questions.

After eating, Emma ventured to the living room, feeling tired after her meal. She was still very sleeping from her hunger-strike. Killian had just left for work, surprisingly leaving her with a sweet and swift kiss as he said goodbye. Just remembering it caused her to blush again. Ruby decided she'd join Emma for a quick nap on the couch, jumping up beside her to keep her warm.

When Emma woke again, it was dinner time. Ruby was still snoring loudly down by her feet, curled up like a giant, furry ball. She lifted from the couch carefully, trying not to wake the wolf, and headed to the kitchen where she could hear Blue. To her surprise though, Blue wasn't alone. Graham smiled at Emma as soon as she walked in. He leaned against the counter, dressed in a formal shirt and dark jeans, his brunette hair slicked back and shining like he'd just stepped out of a magazine. How could all three of the Black brothers be so handsome?

"Hello, Princess. How are you feeling today?"

"Much better, thanks. Are you staying for dinner?" She asked him, walking round the counter and to the fridge, checking what was left to make for dinner.

"No, princess, I'm just dropping by. I was hoping we could talk a little."

Emma frowned and closed the fridge door. What did Graham want to talk about? He may be smiling, but she could tell he was actually pretty serious. She walked to the bench he stood by, taking a seat on one of the bar stools. Blue brought them over a drink each, clearly wanting to listen in on their conversation.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Remember you mentioned that you wanted to work?"

She nodded, intrigued. She did more than mention it, considering the argument she had with Killian that night, but she didn't think Graham would be the one to bring that matter on the table again. The second brother gave her a reassuring smile.

"Well, I've discussed this with Killian, and I wanted to know if you would be interested in working at my restaurant, La Rose Argentée. You could have a trial there and see if you like it?"

"Are you serious?" She was so shocked, she didn't even realise she was holding her breath in excitement. She couldn't believe Graham was offering her a job! He laughed at her surprised reaction.

"Yes, I am, Emma. I happen to be short on staff at the moment, and as we both know, my brother wants you somewhere we can keep an eye on you. My restaurant is secure enough for that, and I know you have a knack for French cuisine; so isn't this perfect?"

"But you've never seen me at work before? And to get such an offer..." Even she had heard of that restaurant! Of course, she didn't realise who it belonged to, but La Rose Agentée was famous for being one of the top first-rate restaurants in Storybrooke. Her only work experiences were her barmaid and waitressing job in Roberts bar, and cooking for the pack! Graham chuckled at her confused expression.

"Don't worry, Emma. As I said, just give it a try! No pressure, Princess, it's all up to you. You can take your time, and when you've made your decision you can tell me, okay?"

She nodded, but she was going to need some time to process it. It was like having her dream job served to her on a silver plate. It felt too good to be true, and in a certain way it was! But she knew of Killian and his brothers' influence. It was not an exaggeration to say they owned half the city. Peter had mentioned his brother had several hotels and restaurants to manage. Finding her a spot in one of them was probably a piece of cake. But still, it was hard to believe how lucky she was! If she could make it, of course. She really wanted to make the cut.

"Emma? There is something else we need to discuss." He looked a lot more serious than before. He put his hands before him, taking a thinking pose for a moment, searching for his words. He turned and looked her in the eyes, his smile vanished from his face.

"We are facing a... rather odd issue since we met you. Killian and I have been looking into the city records for a while, as we were trying to get to know more about you."

He meant when they were searching for her clan, she supposed. It was no surprised, either, that they could freely run through the city's classified documents to get information on someone. It must be as simple as walking into a library for them. What would be the problem with her legal information? The city records mostly hold every citizens information, such as their date of birth, city of origin and parents. The night creatures like werewolves can also access some particular information like their family trees, the moon clans they were related to and rank data through the city's records. She couldn't see where there might have been an issue in any of those.

Graham frowned, taking out several documents she had never seen before.

"When you told us your name was Emma Swan, we started looking for you. My brother knew your date of birth and I originally thought we would be able to discover your background information quite easily. But we didn't."

What? She didn't understand. How could they not find a single piece of information about her? She looked at the scattered documents laying on the counter. Register of births from 1995 to 2005, lists of family names established in Storybrooke city since the eighteenth century, several clans registers, and a few family trees with names similar to hers.

"What do you mean?" She asked, confused.

"That means there is absolutely no trace of your existence, anywhere, Emma. Legally, you have no records in any of these documents. You should be in at least half of them, but you're not. No girl named Emma was born in 2000 or any of the years around it. There is no family name like Swan registered in Storybrooke, and you are not even mentioned as part of the Red Moon clan!"

Emma looked at him, dumbfounded. How was that even possible? She had never lived anywhere else as far as she could remember, so how could the city be completely unaware of her existence? She went through the documents Graham had brought once more, trying to find some clue, anything to prove he was wrong, but after a few minutes she had to admit that Graham was indeed correct. She didn't appear anywhere.

"How is that even possible?" She asked. Graham frowned, running a hand over his hair.

"Honestly, I'm not sure, Princess. It seems like your existence has been concealed from the very moment you were born."

"But why would someone hide her birth?" Blue asked, perplexed. Emma had no idea. The Red Moon clan only hid her existence so they could use her as a slave, not bothering with legal records. But she still should have some legal existence somewhere, shouldn't she? If so, then what was it?

"What about my brother?" She suddenly asks, and Graham frowned again.

"Is that you're brothers surname too?"

"Yes, his name was Oliver, he was born in 2004. Did you find any trace on him?"

"Huh, let me see. No trace in the Red Moon clan, maybe we can find him somewhere else." He grabbed the 2004 birth register and they scanned through it, until Emma finally spotted him.

"Here! Born October 3rd, Oliver... Redwood?"

It was the right date of birth, the right first name, but why was his last name different? It didn't make sense. She knew her last name! Swan, Emma Swan! She grabbed the 2000 register, thinking she may have missed something. Maybe they misspelled her name, or registered her under Redwood... like Oliver. But after checking over it what felt like one hundred times, still nothing. No name remotely similar to Emma swan or Emma Redwood. There was a Lucy Bluemoon, born early October, and a Janice Bell in January, but those were the closest she could find.

"Oliver Redwood," Graham read, still looking at the 2004 sheet. "Firstborn son of David Redwood and Mary Redwood, born Mary Blanchard. It says your parents were married June 1998."

Emma gave him a nod, those were her parents names, but she couldn't understand why she was not registered under their name like Oliver. She couldn't believe it.

"Do you know of the Redwood family?" She asked Blue.

"There are a few Redwood's, in the Gold Moon and Rising Moon clans mostly. It's a rather common last name for werewolves."

Emma and Graham both grabbed each clans register, scanning for deceased family's names. Finally finding it, she held out the page, pointing to her parents and brothers names. All three were indeed part of the Gold Moon clans register, along with a long line of ancestors.

"Do you remember living with this pack?" Graham asked, but Emma shuck her head.

"No, I was very young. My parents died when I was just seven years old, I stayed with another family for about two years before I was pretty much a rogue. I never knew which clan I was from though, I can't remember ever being told."

The trauma of her presents death still lingered somewhere in her mind, she really didn't want to think about it. All of it was unbelievable! How could she be totally omitted from all of the records in front of them? Did her parent not record her birth? If they were a part of the Gold Moon clan, Emma's birth should have been recorded like any of the other packs children!

Graham sighed, and starts packing up the documents again. He tried to give her a reassuring smile, but she was just to confused.

"Don't worry, Princess. There has to be a logical explanation. For now, let's not focus on this, okay? I'll try and dig deeper into it, now we know your parents names and your original clan."

For some reason, Neal popped into her head. He was the only person left that she classed as family. He too was also an orphan. His mother died giving birth to him, and his father committed suicide when Neal was around 16 years old. It was the main reason they bonded so well when they first met. Neals father was close friends with Emma's, maybe he or any of his family could give her some information, anything would help.

"Graham..." She looked up from the counter top to the Black brother standing with his hand in his case. He eyed her wondering if she was going to continue.

"I don't know if it's any help, but could you look up a Neal Cassidy? His family were close to mine before they died, his fathers passed now but maybe some other relatives could help?"

Graham pulled out the files once more, and she quickly searched his name.

Neal Cassidy, born August 4th 1998, firstborn son of Edward Cassidy and Alice Cassidy, born Alice Stone. Former member of Gold Moon clan.

Current member of Red Moon clan.

So her old clan hadn't took Neal off of the records yet after they banished him. She wondered where he was, and how she was possibly meant to find him.

"He is no longer a member of that clan, they banished him not long ago." She told Graham and Blue who were both searching for anymore information they could find or Neal. She didn't dare mention much of how she knew him and how long for. She didn't want to say anything about his cruelness to her for all those years, the last thing she wanted was for Killian to find out and go slaughter him or something. And she definitely wasn't going to tell them that it was actually Neal who'd sold her off to Jekyll. She didn't know what Peter had heard from her conversation with Ariel, but Killian and Graham didn't seem to know, and she thought it would be best to keep it that way, at least until she found Neal. She still classed him as family, even if he was her ex. She just hoped her was still in the area, as they could actually discuss things.

Emma stood from her chair, trying to process all that had just went on. Blue and Graham were thoughtful enough to give her a moment, chatting to each other about trivial matters, making it obvious they'd changed the topic on purpose. She went and made herself a cup of herbal tea, hoping it would calm her somehow.

"Emma? There's just one more thing I'd like to discuss with you, Princess."

She turned to face Graham again, cup in hand. He smiled as she took her seat next to him once again. Strangely, Blue came and stood behind Emma, braiding her hair for some reason.

"About?"

"The Red Moon clan."

She'd forgotten about that matter. Graham did leave them with an ambiguous warning, and summoned Victor as the alpha to a fight in five- no, four days time? It was going to be serious, people from other clans might come to watch as their turf was exceptionally well located and thus, envied by others.

"Yeah, you challenge Victor for the alpha position. Are you going to fight him yourself? Do you really want to take over the clan?" Emma asked. Graham wore an intriguing smile for a moment, and looked at her with a mysterious expression. What was he thinking?

"No, Emma. I was thinking you would fight this alpha to take over the Red Moon clan."

...excuse me?
