The rest of the week went on as it usually did, which Sam was thankful for. She was worried Danny would act differently towards her because of their last encounter, but it was as if nothing ever happened. Speaking of that night, they had yet to tell Tucker about their future plans with ghost hunting. Considering it was Friday night, they figured this would be the day to inform him about it. Danny had told Tucker earlier to come over after his parents left for the night. Meanwhile, Sam had been there since three for work. It wasn't until after Jack and Maddie left just after six that Danny finally came downstairs for the first time since Sam got there. He found her in the kitchen putting away the last of the dishes she had just finished washing and drying before his arrival.

"Not done yet? Hmm, maybe you should be fired," he joked, causing her to scoff.

"If you're home all day anyway why don't you clean the house?" She countered with an eyebrow raised, causing him to shrug.

"Because when my parents asked me I told them I at least wanted something for doing it considering it's a big house. They didn't like that and I guess they went with someone they knew wasn't going to half-ass it."

"Big house? I only clean two floors," Sam questioned, unsure whether he was being lazy or dramatic.

"You're not counting the places I can actually go. I'd also have to clean the lab and the emergency opt center." His words were foreign to her and she gave off a confusing look.

"The what?"

"The emergency opt center. It's the big metal contraption on the top of the roof. I should show you it. Come here." He walked over to the wall of the kitchen where their keyring holder was and snatched up a single key before he nodded towards the stairs. "Up here." She followed closely behind him on their ascent up until he stopped her at a closed door, one she had always noticed but ignored since it was constantly locked. Danny unlocked the door before slipping the key into his pocket, opening it to reveal another staircase. They made their way up together and Sam wasn't nearly as prepared as she thought she'd be. In front of her was what looked like a high tech IT center that was possibly bigger than the basement. There were sleek computers and keyboards, weapons, and other machinery that she couldn't even describe.

"Whoa," was the only thing she could muster up, following Danny as he approached one of the keyboards that had an enormous computer screen right above it. "I kept wondering why that door was always locked. What do you guys use this for?"

"We haven't really used it yet, but it's kind of like a backup quarters. This entire room is adaptable and it can even change into a sort of jet plane and leave its post."

"Holy shit. Why didn't you ever show me this before?"

"I don't know. You still haven't told Tucker that you're loaded with cash," he countered, and she was silent for a moment before she let out a sigh, knowing he was right.

"Yeah, I really should. Might as well tell him tonight while we're already dropping bombshells," she added with a shrug. Danny chuckled at her response before he headed back towards the stairs, Sam following behind closely. Retrieving the key from his pocket, he locked the door behind him before walking away from it.

"It's actually really neat. I kind of hope something happens just so I could use it one day," he told her as they made their way down to the first floor.

"Be careful what you wish for," Sam stated, causing Danny to snort. Upon entering the kitchen, they were almost startled by Tucker's sudden presence. He was digging in the fridge for a water bottle and looked up at them as they approached.

"Jeez, you couldn't even shoot me a text to say you were here?" Danny asked as Tucker closed the fridge.

"I wouldn't have had to if you were already down here. What were you guys doing up there anyway? Making out?" He asked as he started to drink his water.

"Jealous?" Sam teased back, causing him to make a disgusted face at her.

"Gross. No."

"Are you calling me ugly?"

"No. You're my best friend. That'd just be weird."

"I was showing her the emergency opt center," Danny intervened, breaking up their bickering.

"You brought her all the way up there just to make out with her?" Even if Tucker was entertaining himself with his antics, Sam wasn't amused. As he raised his water bottle to his lips, she smacked it upwards, causing water to spill all over his mouth and partially on the neck of his shirt. "Point taken. I'll stop," he said as he wiped his mouth with his sleeve.

"Can we get to the actual point of tonight, please?" Danny asked, trying his best not to sound annoyed.

"And what's that?" Tucker asked as he sat down at the kitchen table. Sam followed his pursuit while Danny chose to stand, leaning against the counter for support.

"Well, first things first, Sam knows." He said simply, but Tucker's eyes widened as he looked between him and Sam.

"What? Why didn't you tell me?!" He exclaimed, causing Sam to roll her eyes.

"What do you think we're doing right now?" She asked ironically, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Anyway," Danny interrupted, feeling like he was the mediator between two whiny siblings, "we unexpectedly came up with a plan we wanted to run by you."

"What kind of plan?" Tucker queried.

"We thought of something to put my powers to good use. We both want to ghost hunt." Tucker looked as surprised as they thought he'd be, and he raised an eyebrow at Danny's words.

"You guys want to hunt ghosts? How? Danny can't even leave the house."

"We can go out and do it while my parents are asleep."

"How are we supposed to fight ghosts with no powers?"

"You guys can use my parents' weaponry. I figured you'd be able to help modify the technology to our advantage." Tucker was silent for a moment, knowing Danny was serious if he had already thought all of this through, but Sam took his silence as a bad sign, thinking he was doubting all of it.

"Tucker, no one is forcing you to do it. We're aware of how dangerous it is and we would never put you in a position where you could get hurt," she told him, but he looked at her with an exasperated expression.

"Are you kidding? You can't get rid of me that easily. If you guys are going into the line of fire, I'm gonna be there every step of the way." His answer actually shocked both her and Danny, not expecting him to be on board so fast.

"Are you sure about this?" Danny asked, but Tucker only shook his head and smiled.

"You guys are my best friends. I'd do anything for you. If we go down, we go down together." His statement warmed Danny's heart and he couldn't help but smile widely.

"Aw, you're too good to me," he said, playfully being bashful, making Tucker laugh.

"So how exactly is this going down?"

"I figure we could train in the lab when my parents go out. I can exercise my powers and I can teach you guys how to use all the weapons."

"I don't want to be in the same room with Sam if she has a weapon in her possession," Tucker jested, getting an eye roll from her.

"Just watch what you say and you'll be untouched," she countered with a smirk. Danny had to resist the urge to roll his eyes at their constant fighting, so just to get the evening moving along, he decided to take Sam up on her word from earlier. He walked over to her and crouched down as he started to whisper in her ear, causing Tucker to scoff.

"Talk dirty to her on your own time, Casanova," he commented, but Sam only turned to him with a somewhat menacing smile on her face.

"Have you ever seen a mansion in person, Tucker?" She asked, and he raised an eyebrow at the unexpected question.

"Uhh... no."

"Do you want to?" He only looked between both her and Danny, not trusting the seemingly innocent looks they were giving him.

"What is this?"

"Do you want to find out or do you want to just sit there?" She answered his question with another question as she stood up and grabbed her keys with Danny following behind her, leaving Tucker confused yet curious as he followed them out. As they got in her car he let Danny have the passenger seat as he took the back, knowing Danny would do anything to get closer to Sam. He was glad he did since they were joking and laughing the whole time of course with him chiming in, making them laugh even more. Although, neither of them refused to tell him what exactly was going on or where they were going until they got there. All Tucker saw was a huge white mansion as they parked at the curb, and his jaw almost became unhinged at the sight of it.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Danny asked him as they got out of the car.

"Okay, I'll ask again because I'm that confused. What is this?" Tucker queried, following them up to the front door.

"My house," Sam stated as if it were obvious.

"What? No, it's not," Tucker responded, thinking they were just pulling his chain. Sam only laughed and pulled out her keys, sticking it in the lock almost as proof.

"I live here, dummy. These keys aren't just for show." Opening the door, Danny waltzed right in, already comfortable in the house he was so familiar with. Tucker, on the other hand, was shocked at the size, knowing her family had money but never imagined anything as extravagant as this. Noticing his face, Sam tried not to chuckle as she looked over at Danny who was already staring at her. Breaking away from his gaze, she turned her attention back to Tucker. "If you think this is crazy, wait until you see the basement." Curiosity took over him and she decided to use the stairs this time, thinking the elevator would only overwhelm him at this point. Upon entering what Sam called her domain, she could see Ida was just finishing up a bowling game, and Tucker was so shocked at all the games, electronics, and overall look of the basement that he was actually speechless for the first time in his life.

"Hey, Grandma. Just finishing up?" Sam asked as they all approached her, and she pointed to the screen where she had almost a perfect score.

"Try beating that, sweet cheeks. Oh, hey, Danny, how are you?" She asked as she realized he was standing there, rolling over to him to give him a hug.

"Never better, how about you?" He asked her, happily reaching down to receive the affection.

"Waiting for that rematch where you swear you could beat me." Danny only laughed, reminiscing on the last time he bowled a game with her and Sam.

"I'm available whenever and eager to prove my worth." Ida smiled back and nudged Sam in the side as she passed her.

"He's a keeper," she told her, causing Sam to shoot her a look that said something along the lines of keeping her mouth closed. "And this must be Tucker. I've heard a lot about you," Ida said as she extended her hand to him which he gratefully accepted.

"Likewise. Good to finally meet you," he told her. Ida motioned for him to come closer, so he leaned down to make eye contact with her.

"Don't believe anything she tells you. You're her best friend and she'd rather die than not have you by her side."

"Grandma, stop exposing me and get out of here!" Sam exclaimed jokingly, causing Ida to raise her hands defensively.

"Someone had to say it. Now, all of you have a fun time. I'll be up in my room." With that, she headed towards the elevator but winked at Sam right before the doors closed, and although she tried to hide her embarrassment, Tucker only looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

"So Danny's been here before and never even told me about any of this?"

"Hey, it's not my secret to tell. Sound familiar?" He countered with a smirk, getting a deadpan look from Tucker.

"And I would appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone about this. Especially tomorrow at the party. The last thing I want is fake friends trying to use me for my money," Sam interjected while crossing her arms.

"Hey, you're secret is safe with me," Tucker said, placing a hand on her shoulder in reassurance before his eyes drifted to a nearby pinball machine. "I'm totally down for bowling... but I really need to go check that out."

"Go for it," Sam encouraged, and not even a split second later was Tucker already deep into a game. She only smiled and shook her head as she went over to the bowling area to set up a new game, almost startled when Danny came up from right behind her.

"So... what did your Grandma mean when she said I was a keeper?" He inquired with a knowing grin, causing Sam to scoff.

"Hey, leave my old, delusional grandma out of this," she jested, trying to play it off.

"I don't know, she seems to have pretty good taste to me," he continued with a smirk.

"Really? 'Cause it seems that's just your huge ego talking," she shot back but was taken back when he took her by the wrists to draw her closer to him.

"Oh, yeah? Because when girls talk about a guy a lot to someone they trust it usually means-"

"You have a ski ball machine, too? What is this, a carnival?" Tucker shouted from the back, causing Sam to jump back from Danny. Never had she been so grateful for Tucker's uncontrollable outbursts.

"Yeah, want to challenge me?" She asked as she walked towards him, leaving a severely disappointed Danny behind. All he wanted was to get down to the truth, but yet again, that probably wasn't a good idea with Tucker around. Accepting his defeat, he decided to leave it for another time and joined his best friends.

The night proceeded with different games, movies, and laughter almost the whole time. Tucker felt like he spent a night in paradise, almost forgetting that he had access to this almost whenever he pleased. It's not like he would ever use Sam for the things she had that he didn't, but you definitely wouldn't catch him complaining any time she offered. On the way back to Danny's house, Tucker mentioned the party that was approaching way too fast for Sam's liking, causing her to groan.

"I can't believe I let you guys convince me to go," she began with a roll of her eyes, Tucker leaning forward from the back to speak up.

"Come on, it'll be fun! It's just one night, Sam," he told her, and looking over at Danny, he only gave her a sheepish grin and shrugged.

"I'm actually on his side with this. We'll only stay for a few hours," Danny responded as Sam pulled up to his house to drop off the both of them.

"If anything goes wrong, I'm blaming you," Sam said sternly, turning around to point at Tucker who only laughed.

"I can deal with that. At least we're going," he stated as he got out of the car, closing the door behind him. Sam sighed and looked over at Danny again, and that glowing smile of his was still on his face.

"He's really excited to go. You're doing a great thing for him."

"Yeah, yeah," Sam said sardonically, waving a hand in dismissal. Danny only smirked before grabbing the hand she waved with and giving it a brief kiss before he opened the car door.

"I'll see you tomorrow," he told her, walking away and leaving her very confused and frustrated. It was like he knew she liked him and he was just taunting her, but the sick thing was, she kind of liked it.
