"Should I wake him up" Yasuhara's grin was so wide it covered his face.

"No. You should not, wait till I take some pictures." Takigawa was also smiling ear to ear.

"We should definitely wake him up and send him home. He is looking as sick as Mai." Ayako woke him up but not before they took some pictures of him holding Mai's hand and sleeping beside her in the chair.

"Ah...it was really tough." Takigawa sighed.

Apparently sending Naru home was as difficult as was the case of the vampire's house. He wasn't moving an inch, not even when they showed him the pictures of him sleeping while holding Mai's hand. They expected him to feel embarrassed but Naru came out strong and declared his love for Mai infront of everyone.

They were shocked. Not because Naru loved Mai, they all already knew that. They were shocked because they didn't expect him to declare it so openly. They thought it would be next to impossible to make Naru utter those words.

Naru's love for Mai was no new news for any SPR member, but still some of them felt relieved, some were still shocked, and for Masako, she was looking sad, yet in peace.

"It was bound to happen. Yesterday's event was very shocking and eye opening for Naru and after what happened to Gene, He couldn't let even Taniyama san left him. " told Lin to everyone when they were talking about Naru's dramatic yet sincere confession of love.

Everyone nodded in unison to that comment.

"May god bless them both and let them be with each other for ever. Amen." John prayed.

It was around noon when Mai opened her eyes.

"Bou san, Ayako, you are talking too loud." Were the first words she said as soon as she opened her mouth.

"Mai" both Mitsuzaki and Takigawa screamed.

"What happened Mai?"

"How are you feeling?"

"Is it paining a lot?"

"Who stabbed you?"

"Are you alright?"

"Why are you not answering?"

"Did you lost your memories?"

"She was stabbed in stomach not in head you idiot monk."

"I know that you old hag."

"What did you say??. Shut your mouth you bakagawa."

"What...you shut up."

"Just shut up."

"Shut up, you both", they turned towards the source and it was Naru.

"Ah...Naru..great timing. Mai has woken up just now." Smiled Ayako brightly.

And in an instant Naru was besides Mai.

"How are you feeling?" He asked with such tender voice that all of them heard it for first time.

"Not very good." Mai replied in a small voice.

Hearing the answer Naru quickly turned to Matsuzaki, and in a very sharp voice he said "Why is she not feeling well, do something Matsuzaki San".

"Oh...I'm good...just that stabbing and all, you know." Mai said quickly, before Ayako could answer.

"Matsuzaki san?" Naru was still waiting for her to reply.

"Don't worry Naru. She is alright. I had just finished her check up when she woke up. All her vitals are normal. She'll be good to go in two weeks. We just have to take care of her so she does not take any stress and Mai, no walking until I say so." And with this Matsuzaki left the room.

"Oujosan you sacred us big time. Just what happened?? I'm glad you are alright now." Takigawa said and wanted to hug Mai but Naru stopped him and send him to tell others about Mai's condition.

"I know you want to be alone with her." Takigawa shouted while closing the door behind.

"What is Bou-san talking about??" Mai was feeling awkward about how Naru is behaving right now.

'He is not like this just because I got stabbed right! I mean he looked genuinely worried and just how he is speaking with me right now is all not very Naruish.' Mai's thoughts were showing through expressions her face was giving while waiting for Naru to answer her.

Finally Naru spoke, "Mai...I have something to tell you."

...To be continued.
