"It's Satan's son "Kuroyasha" that cursed her." The old monk answered with grim expression.

Naru's eye widened in shock.

"Kuroyasha...??? Oyaji you aren't kidding right..." Takigawa spoke in a shuttering voice.

"It's definitely Kuroyasha."

"Naru it's really bad news. If really Kuroyasha cursed Mai then...We..we may not be able to save her." Takigawa looked really demotivated.

Takigawa's reaction showed gravity of the situation. Masako and Ayako both were also looking helplessly at Naru.

"Who is this Kuroyasha? And why we can't save her?" John was the only who couldn't understand as he was not familiar with Japanese ghosts and apparitions.

"He is one of most cruel sons of satan. Kuroyasha devours human soul and flesh. Once you're under his curse you can not ever be freed from it. Even when you die you can't incarnate because he consumes your soul. It's a full stop. There's no future once you're cursed." Matsuzaki informed.

"However Kuroyasha fears spiritually powerful humans because they are full of light thus hard to consume by darkness of which he is a part. Those with the kind heart and righteous karma can stop him. But if they even once lost their track or grew spiritually weak Kuroyasha kills them." The old monk started with a small hope but ended the sentence in depressing information.

"There is one more way to stop him" finally Naru spoke.

Every head turned towards him with curious eyes.

"We have to lock him." He continued.

"Is it even possible?" They asked.

"It is."

"No. It is next to impossible. What you are thinking is not humanly possible." Exclaimed the old monk.

"What are you talking about. Please elaborate so we can understand." Masako and others didn't want to be left out.

"What this young man is saying that we should bind Kuroyasha with beads of Buddha. And believe me when I say this... not a single soul has ever succeeded in doing that."

"But oyaji we can try, may be we..." but Takigawa couldn't finish his sentence.

"No. It's suicide. Even if we all combine our powers we won't be able to hold him for more than 10 seconds."

"But you said he needs permission to devour our soul and flesh."

"He needs permission to devour. Not to slaughter."

"But still" Takigawa tried to argue...he can't possibly lose Mai who was like a little sister to him.

"Naru...there is one more way which is also almost impossible but..let us hear you first." Matsuzaki drew their attention.

Naru stood silent for two minutes then finally spoke.

"I have only heard of Kuroyasha once and they said he can't be stopped but he can be locked up by beads of Buddha. They told it is almost impossible for someone to even try but right now I have no choice but to try. I can't see Mai get killed and devoured. Not until I'm alive." Naru took a deep breath.

"I know I would die if I do it alone...and just like you said even if we all combine our powers we can still lose our lives. But I can't give up and I need all of your help. Of course you can choose not to. But still, I am going to request."

"In every condition I am with you Naru." Takigawa commented determined. If there is even a slightest chance to save Mai he would definitely try.

"We're too Naru..." everyone nodded with this statement.

Even Masako was looking ready for any possible difficulty.

"But how are you going to do it young boy. Let me hear that first." the old monk started again.

"I'm going to go for that 10 seconds we can buy. Actually we can almost push it to 20. But the real problem is that are we spiritually strong enough and if our karma is really righteous. If not then in that case we only have to depend on our spiritual power and it will not be enough to bind him." Naru looked straight at Mai and said.

"Then what shall you do?"

"I'm going to bring help from spiritual realm."

"What is that suppose to mean." They were all looking really confuse by this statement.

"It means we are going to need help from dead." It was Lin who spoke.
