You know what I realized that a lot of people tend to forget that Logan was a part of the club. Most remember him as Mary Anne's boyfriend so I'm going to remind everyone here. Yes this Grace is also Grace Blume who used to be mean to the BSC. However if you remember she can be nice from the book Claudia and the Recipe for Disaster (and some what in Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade). She can be a decent person without Cokie around and thought to expand on her character a bit. I picture Brooke Nichole Lee (if you know Mako Mermaids or The Circle) the play as older her.

Enjoy and please review!

Logan Bruno walked into the Argo and found his usual sport in the booth at the window. Sighing he picked up his menu and contemplated on what to order. His usual was the double stack, but it looked like that wasn't on the menu anymore.

"Hey," said a feminine voice kissing him softly. Logan smiled at the woman sliding in the booth across from him.

"Hey yourself, is everything okay at the shop?" he asked, and she just gave him her best don't you start look.

His wife, Grace, ran her own bridal shop right there in downtown Stoneybrook. She could pick her own hours and everything. Logan didn't realize just how much went into wedding planning until they had done their own. So, he could sympathize with anything crazy that went down in the shop.

She sighed and took her long strawberry blond hair out of its ponytail and slumped against the back of her chair.

"Fine, thanks for meeting up with me for lunch," she said. "I have like ten appointments after lunch until close at six. You're lucky that your job is off during the summer."

He just rolled his eyes knowing that she was wrong there. Logan worked as Stoneybrook High School's athletic director. He had spent some time working as the boy's gym teacher but worked up. So, he didn't have all summer off. His wife studied the menu before putting it up and smiled at him lovingly. Logan smiled back and then glanced down trying to decide what to replace his usual with.

"Well think about it this way I am at home with the kids."

Grace just laughed and nodded at that.

"What did they do now?"

"Nothing big, just the usual brother and sister banter. I dropped Harper off to meet Molly at the baseball field. They were doing their big Patterson family end of the school year baseball cookout. I told Kristy that we both said hi. Aiden went out with a few of his friends to the movies."

"Nice, I still think it's a bit hard to believe that my daughter is friends with Kristy Thomas's daughter. We never got along, and I used to pick on her and her friends so much," said Grace after they put drink orders in, and she played around with the straw wrapper. "I hope that she forgave me when I apologized years later."

"I'm pretty sure that she's come to terms with it because of the kids."

She nodded and Logan just took her hand gently across from the table. She flushed and grinned happily at him. This was nice just to get caught up in the middle of the day. They only did this one day a week and it happened to be today.

The waitress came back for a lunch order as Grace order the bacon cheeseburger with everything on it and a side salad. Logan finally found his replacement by order the triple decker club sandwich with onion rings. It was quiet between them before they had picked up talking about what to do about vacation this year.

"Still think that this would be the perfect time for a European trip," said Grace.

"I still think 9 is bit too young to for a trip to Europe," he said. "Why not Disney World again?"

"Because we went there the last two summers. If we go again, I want it to be the last time we got to Disney," she said.

"Alright," said Logan bargaining. "If we go to Disney one more time it'll be our last trip down there. But we should wait at least until Harper turns 13 when she goes to Europe. That's when SMS went remember? I don't think she'd appreciate it as much as a kid versus when she's older."

Grace seemed to contemplate this and looked down at the table mulling it over. He watched as she pinched her lips together and took in a deep breath.

"Fine, we'll wait until she's 13 but remember Aiden will be 15 so we gotta remember that he might push to go off by himself."

"I can talk to him,' said Logan doing a little victory dance in his head. "Here we'll even get it on a recording."

Grace pulled out her phone and made sure that she could access it even if she had to get a new phone. Logan pulled out his and started the message as the food arrived. Now that it was set in as good as being set in stone the food finally arrived.

Happily, he dug into his onion rings first as the conversation drifted to the usual. Hunter would be back at the beginning of August. Kerry and her husband, Jake, were going to have a pool party coming up. When they were going to visit Grace's dad's gravestone.

Something panged in him that they would have to do the last as soon as possible. Her dad had died of lung cancer after battling it for nearly a decade. That was part of the reason why Grace moved back to Stoneybrook during her sophomore year of college. Logan bit into his sandwich enjoying the double decker.

"Ugh, I have to get back," she said hearing the timer go off and finished her side salad.

"Here I'll walk you."

They walked back after paying talking about other random stuff. The name of the shop Laced with Grace above them and printed on the front door. Logan thought the name was a decent pun. Grace was her name and the dresses were sometimes laced up.

Before either could kiss goodbye the phones in their pockets started to ring. Sighing Logan looked at the number and saw it as Lucas Patterson. Grace had mouthed the words Kristy Thomas and picked up the phone. Logan did the same and felt his heart sink before speeding up.

"Logan I have Harper here and she's having an asthma attack," said Lucas. "Kristy's calling Grace and we'll meet you at the hospital."

Grace ran inside to clock out for the day telling her workers what was happening. As if he was on hyper mode Logan raced for the car and pulled up to drive her with them. After the silence in the car and heading directly to the hospital they saw Kristy waiting out front for them.

"I'm glad that you guys were able to get here," she said. "The doctors took her right away and making sure that she was stable last I saw. Molly knew the password on her phone to get the emergency numbers. I called her pediatrician's office, they said her doctor Byron Pike was on vacation, but I set it up as soon as he got back as best as I can. She's going to be in room 200…"

They focused on getting to the room just in time to see the doctors finishing up with her case. It must have been a small attack before Grace flung herself into the room first.

"My baby!" she shouted and pulled Harper into a hug.

"Kristy you're a life saver," said Logan turning to his friend.

"It's not a problem, I'm lucky I knew what to do because of Abby. I'm going to call Molly and let her know that Harper is okay. Lucas and I are going to head back, and we'll call to see when she's back home."

She shrunk out of the room little by little.

"Thanks Kristy," choked out Grace softly stroking Harper's hair squeezing her tight.

She walked out leaving the three of them together. Logan sat down in front of his daughter and she smiled weakly at him.

"I bet you really wish that I didn't take after uncle Hunter," said Harper trying to smile.

"Hey, it's better then taking after Kerry sometimes," he said jokingly referring to his sister's dramatic side that she had.

Logan pulled her into a hug once Grace was done fretting over her. He checked her over and smiled at the grass stains on her clothes and dirt on her knees and a spot on her cheek. Grace's all black dress had some smudges on it, and she smoothed out her long hair.

"The kids won. We had a game of adults versus the kids and we beat them," said Harper proudly.

"Great job, why don't we pick up Aiden from the movies and we get ice cream as soon as we get out of here okay?"

She nodded happily laid back on the cot she was given. Logan just sighed that everything seemed to be okay.
