Author's Note: There's not a lot on Nina, but the Marshall's was one of the first clients the BSC sits for when the club first forms outside of their families (and pet sitting) so I thought it would be to make her my last client. Next chapter is either Sam or Janine. Then after them the story is finished.

Enjoy the chapter!

Nina Marshall tapped her fork against her plastic cup and sighed. Why was she always the early one? She let out a deep sigh before spotting Patsy coming in right on time as per usual with Jenny on her heels. That left Sophie Craine who had a habitual problem of being late all the time. Right now, she was thinking to tell Soph that they were meeting at 1:30 and then she'd be on time at 2.

They were at the restaurant that Stoneybrook Megavideo was turned into. It was hard to believe that renting VHS tapes for fifteen bucks a night was a thing of the past now. The new place had opened about five years ago or so. Nina had twirled the ice around in her cup as Jenny and Patsy sat across from her. They had come in at the same time and looked like they came straight from work.

"So how's the wedding planning?" asked Nina looking at Jenny eagerly. She and Stephen were finally tying the knot.

"Pretty good, I got my dress not too long ago," said Jenny sitting close to the window. "And we have a venue. My mom wants to try making the centerpieces though. I don't know how it's going to work out."

"She looks beautiful," said Patsy showing them the picture on her phone. She did look stunning standing there on a platform with a chapel length veil on her head. "I helped pick out the dress for her. Maybe one day I'll be hired on as a full-time bridal consultant. Grace said that I have lots of potential. If only I could get out of being part time, she's not hiring full time yet."

She rolled her eyes and looked at her friends as the waitress passed them a round of Pepsi's and waters. Finally, Sophie had barreled through the door and took her spot next to Nina. She had thrown a shopping bag underneath the table and stuffed her sunglasses in her bag. The three girls just watched her as if she was newest thing on television.

"Sorry I'm late, what are we talking about?" asked Sophie eagerly grabbing her Pepsi and taking a sip.

"Jenny's wedding," said Nina sighing and had that far of look on her face. It must be nice to get married. "I wish I could get a boyfriend. My last boyfriend was Jamie Newton and I was a senior in high school. I have a BA that only took five years to get."

"Hey it's never too late to find love," said Patsy staring out the window. "Maybe I'll find a husband and we'll have a double wedding one day."

Patsy and Nina shared a smile before laughing some. First, they needed to find said boyfriends and date for a bit. Then marry and have kids. They weren't like Sophie who would date anyone, boy or girl, and be ready to get married in a month. Not to mention Nina found herself very picky with the types of guys she dated.

"That'll be fun," said Sophie. "First you two need full time jobs though."

"Hey, Ted's Tools might be part time, but it's giving me a chance to look for full time," said Nina, she forlornly sighed over her water. It has been taking awhile to find a job though since she was so picky. "Maybe Ted will pass it on to me. Maybe, if I was part of his family."

They all cracked up a little again as the waiter dropped off rolls and put their food orders in. Giant chicken salad for Jenny, fried chicken for Nina, burger for Sophie, and fish for Patsy. Lunch was lunch and they went all out for it since they only saw each other once a month together like this. Any other time they were busy working or seeing only one member of the group.

Together the girls chatted a bit aimlessly since they were all caught up on each other's lives. They even remembered getting those tacky saloon pictures on their vacation last year. Laurel was expecting her first baby. Margaret Craine was finishing college, she and Andrea caught the same train for part of the way. Just gabbing with each other over everything and nothing.

"Here's your food…" started the waiter dropping it off to them. "Is there anything else that I can get you?"

"No, but do we know you?" asked Nina looking over at the girl to see the name Johnny on the name tag. His red hair and full face had freckles on his cheeks. He was kind of cute. "Did you got to SHS, class of 2014 by any chance?"

"Yea, I'm Johnny Hobart," he said with a smile wiping his hands on his jeans. He did have a cute smile. "I think I remember you, um, Nina Marshall right? We had history together after lunch."

"That's me," he said. "Nice to see you again Nina. And I think Jenny, Patsy, and…"

"Sophie," said her friend a bit surprised. "Most people remember me first not the other way around."

Sophie winked flirting and everyone hid their giggles and Sophie just grinned. Nina felt herself scoff and the others (namely Jenny) just nudged Sophie to shut up. Nina just glanced up to see Johnny smiling at her first as she accepted the plate in front of her. Her cheeks slightly flushed and waved at him. The other girls watching and shared a look.

"Get his number," said Sophie nudging her this time.

"I don't know. Let's eat first."

Nina brushed her blond hair away from her face and thought back to Johnny. Maybe she should say something before she left.
