Author's Note: This was originally going to be Sam's chapter, but I thought Janine would be better since her chapter was pretty far along. There's a light use of OC's in this since Janine's fiance isn't anyone from the books. We're also getting the whole Kishi family in this! Lynn was born in Claudia and the World's Cutest baby and I gave her a brother too. When Russ and Peaches had their baby, Russ wanted to name her Agnes but they ended up naming her Lynn. So I gave their next baby the named Angus as a little call back to that moment.

Enjoy and please review!

Janine Kishi smiled as Claudia's uber drove up to the house. It was times like this where she wished her parents didn't move out of their old house with a bunch of people coming. Her fiancé, Dale, was bringing his family to talk about wedding plans and a general get together. The townhouses that her parents moved into wasn't that big and her neighbors, the Papadakis', had their kids visit sometimes.

"Aunt Janine!" said Raina and Brett bouncing out of the car and racing to her.

Behind her the door opened as Rioko saw her grandkids on the front porch.

"Mimi!" called Brett and Raina rushing forward to Rioko.

"Kids!" she said opening her arms for them.

Instead of going to by grandma, her mother had become Mimi. It was their way of honoring the original Mimi and the role she played in their lives. Brett and Raina threw themselves into her open arms as she kissed them. Claudia just smiled and hugged her dad at the same time who had appeared in the door. Janine hugged her sister as soon as she reached the front step.

"You know one day I can't wait to be called Mimi too," said Claudia warmly. "We will all strive to be like the original Mimi right mom?"

Rioko laughed herself before letting go of her only two grandchildren. Janine straightened herself out and headed back in the house and boy was it packed. Dale had his family over and aunt Peaches came with Russ and their kids Lynn and Angus. Wedding planning was coming along and family bonding. They would all get along.

See, she and Dale have been dating for six years. They've met each other's families individually of course, but both sides haven't mixed until today. Janine settled her nerves as quickly as possible. If anything, they would totally get along with Claudia. She was totally a people person and it's impossible for people not to like her. First thing she wanted to do was find said new brother in law.

"And you just cut like this," said Claudia showing the kids how to make paper snowflakes. They were the fancy kind that involved stapling parts of them together.

"I think I figured it out," said Gemma, her soon to be niece.

"I do too," said Raina.

"Alright, well I'm going to help Janine with the wedding plans, think you can teach the others if they get stuck?"

The young girl nodded as everyone else started to make them together. Janine pulled Claudia with her to talk about said planning and get to know each other.

"Janine, I think that you're worrying a little too much, the kids get along great," said Claudia patiently.

"Yes perhaps I have been underestimating this moment," said Janine seriously. "I cannot wait to talk about Dale and I's nuptials after some refreshments and perhaps some entertainment."

"I brought a little something," said Claudia excited before heading back into the kitchen and grabbing the food that she brought.

Janine stood there a bit bewildered and peered into the living room. It was a small area and there was no fireplace. The walls red and a comfy tan couch housed her fiancé next to her mother. They always seemed to get along splendidly. Her father talking to Lewis, Dale's brother, and his wife Chloe.

"Alright snacks for everyone," said Claudia. "I have a cheeseball with crackers or pretzels."

"Thank you, Claudia," said Janine as they entered the living room together. "Perhaps we could play a game. We have Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble and Pictionary."

She glanced at Claudia who had looked surprised that she even suggested Pictionary. She had to admit that it felt nice surprise Claudia. When they were younger Janine would never suggest Pictionary yet here they were. What surprised her was Claudia's response.

"I say Trivial Pursuit," said Claudia.

"Oh yes, I am great at that game," said Chloe seconding quickly. "Fun fact about me, I was on The Great Trivia Show I was in the finale 3."

"That is a great show," said Peaches. "I learned so much from it. Which season?"

"If we're playing that game, I'm helping the kids," said Angus, Janine's eighteen-year-old godson. "I hate trivia games and the worst memory."

"You can be on my team," said Claudia grandly. "I have my own secret weapon, you in Lynn?"

Lynn Benedict, now twenty-one, squeaked for a moment and thought about it before nodding slowly. She was good at school and went to Stoneybrook University with some of her friends. Claudia had Angus and Lynn on her side. Dale teamed up with Rioko and John. The teams looked something like this (even though they never played Trivial Pursuit as a team before):

Lynn, Angus, Claudia,

John, Dale, Chloe

Rioko, Janine, Lewis

This was going to be interesting, thought Janine, as Aunt Peaches and Uncle Russ decided to be the ones that asked the questions and kept score. She hoped that they wouldn't be biased to Claudia's team. Although she wouldn't blame them. If she was keeping score, she'd be a little biased since Angus was her godson.

"I have an idea," said Dale. "With every question right, we'll answer a question about the plans we do have answers to about the wedding."

"Finally," said Claudia. "I want to talk color schemes and decorations and of course your dress."

"And I have so many great ideas for a location up and down the coast," said Chloe.

"I just want to know who your caterer is going to be," joked Lewis.

"Can you just give us one detail?" asked her mother clearly excited. "At least tell us the date that you picked."

"Seven weeks from today, October 24."

That led to an excited chatter among the everyone that was interested. Lynn had brought bridal magazines. Claudia and Chloe talking a mile a minute. Her father and Dale already talking about figures about how much it'll cost.

Janine just gave Dale a sly look wondering how they were going to be answering all these questions. Claudia had noticed and had grinned at them pushing the food close to them. Then the game started, and they were all off at a good pace. Even Claudia was doing better than she thought. Which struck her as a little odd since Claudia wasn't interested in learning. The art questions of course she got right.

Although eventually nobody was even keeping score. Peaches, Chloe, Lynn, and Claudia were all discussing wedding ideas. Claudia throwing out color ideas, ranging from teal to deep purple. The boys focusing on the cheeseball and talking sports. All of them sharing facts about each other.

Janine just sighed happy to see everyone getting along. Of course they would, she thought, and went to check on the children coloring.

"This turned out great Janine," said Claudia. "You had nothing to worry about."

"I know, I was overthinking and planning today so it would be perfect. Even a semi-structured game would be fun. I admit I am a little impressed with how you answered so many questions. Please tell me your trick."

"I've been using Trivial Pursuit cards as a trivia game I play with the kids. We know all the answers on the cards on the most updated version."

"That's clever actually. Should Dale and I pursue fostering or adoption, I will allow that technique with my children."

Claudia just shook her head and went to get pizzas out of the freezer for everyone to share. The kids barely looked up focusing on what they were making. Janine just took in a deep breath and smiled. She couldn't wait to have everyone together again.
