I'm slowly losing inspiration for this story already, but let's respond to the one review I got T-T happy tears

Princess Kanako - Hello! Glad to see your name pop up! At this point I think I'll be deviating for the moment. I did not come back to this with a plan lol I should probably figure that out soon. For now, I'm just writing whatever comes to mind when I listen to my playlist. Yikes

CRASH!CLANK!

"Heather!"

The sound of glass breaking echoed throughout the room,"All I did was ask if they knew where Shinzo was!"

"We told you she doesn't like talking to people!" Sago shouted as he dodged another plate," Why would you go up and talk to her?"

Heather peeked around the table she was hiding behind and scurried to the one next to it," I thought you meant the lady behind her! How was I supposed to know she'd destroy the whole freaking restaurant?"

"Seriously, though! I get she's a hermit, but this is being overdramatic! All she did was ask a question! Ah!" Mushra pushed Katalina out of the way and knocked away the chair with his staff," Thanks."

"She must be in a bad mood today. Come on! Make your way outside!" Kai grabbed Jaden's hand and pulled her with him. On their way out she grabbed Heather's and dragged her along, the rest following suit.

"Shouldn't we help the owners?" Jaden asked, brushing off some of the food that had fallen onto her shirt.

Kai shook his head,"Nah. The owners are so used to her behavior they just wait out in the back until she's done and collect their fee.

"Their fee?"

"Much to everyone's surprise, she is a very wealthy woman. She pays for any damages and the cycle continues," Kutal peered through the restaurant's window and ushered everyone forward," We should make our way back before the owners catch up to us. I don't think they'll be too happy with Heather. May need to avoid this restaurant for a while too."

"We're never going to find Shinzo," Heather groaned, pulling at her hair," Nobody has even heard of this place!"

"Chill out, Heather. I'm sure someone knows where it's at," Mushra stopped walking," Hey! Why don't we try the next town over?" Everyone stopped and looked at him," It's a long shot, but it's worth a try."

"Maybe you guys should go on your own. I'll stay here and keep asking around," Sago suggested.

"Why? It seems no one knows what we're talking about so there's really no point in you staying behind," Jaden noticed the nervous look on his face" Sago, is there a specific reason you don't want to go?"

Everyone looked at him as the red tint on his cheeks grew darker and darker. His eyes kept darted back and forth and he finally sighed," Fine, I'll come along."

"So, you're not going to tell us?"

"What's there to tell? We should probably get our things packed. We'll leave early in the morning," Sago scurried away from everyone's gaze and headed in the opposite direction of the house.

"Sago! You're going the wrong way!"

"I know!"

Once the sun rose, they all headed towards the next town over. The beginning of their journey started off in silence, everyone still too tired to make conversation. Every once in a while you would head the chirp of a bird or the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind.

Katalina broke the silence," I really wished I had an iced coffee."

"Again with that shit?" Kai groaned,"How many times are you going to complain about it before you get over it?"

She stared intently into his eyes hoping he'd spontaneously combust, but unfortunately that didn't happen," As many times as I want."

"Now, now, let's keep it civil. We still have a long way to go," Kutal pulled up in between them and shoved them away from each other," I'd rather not listen to the lot of you fight with each other the whole way there."

"How much more until we get there?" Heather asked.

"Probably another day if we don't waste too much time. We'll find a spot to camp out for the night and wake up early in the morning."

"Another day?" The girls shouted out in unison.

Jaden adjusted the bag on her back and sighed," My feet are killing me already and that's even with getting rid of all of my textbooks."

Before their trip, the girls rummaged through their bags and threw out anything that could weigh them down. Textbooks and notebooks were thrown out and replaced with the necessities. The only things they decided to keep were their own personal items that they didn't want to part with.

"Well, if you don't want it to take longer than we can't stop and lose traction now. So, suck it up," Jaden shoved Mushra's hoverboard away from her and scoffed," Easy for you to say. At least you have something to ride on."

Sago chuckled,"Might as well get used to it. If this Shinzo place turns out to be far away we're going to be doing this a lot more."

Heather pulled out her phone from her bag," Might as well keep myself entertained then."

Mushra hovered over her shoulder and squinted at the phone in her hand," What is that thing?"

"This? It's a cell phone."

"A what?"

"A cell phone. Don't they have these here?"

Kai suddenly stopped in his tracks," Stop."

"Huh?"

"What is it, Kai?"

He put a finger to his lips, and turned his attention towards a tree across him. His eyes grew wide and he pushed Katalina to the ground," Hey, what gives? I didn't do anything to you! Get off of me!" That's when she saw it. A small dart dug into the side of the tree. .

Kai quickly got up and Mushra readied his staff," Come out you coward!"

It was quiet for a moment until something came out from the trees," Quite the nuisance." Standing before them was a mantis type Enterran wearing blue armor," Looks like I'll have to get rid of you three before I can collect my winnings."

Katalina quickly rose from the ground and ran next to Heather and Jaden," Um, we might want to hide or something because I'd rather not get caught in the crossfire."

Mushra hopped off his hoverboard while Kutal moved the girls away from the fight," What do you mean your winnings?"

"The winnings I'll collect from my bounty. All I need to do is turn in those human girls you're trying so hard to protect."

"Bounty?" Jaden whispered," We've only been here like two freaking days! How do we have a bounty over our heads already?"

"Who is the one asking for this bounty?" Kutal asked.

"Enough talk! Those girls are coming with me!" He lunged at Mushra, but Kai punched him away. He pulled out the daggers from his sheath and tried to strike. The mantis Enterran flew off the ground and made his way towards the girls.

"I don't think so!" Kutal swung his spiked mace around and knocked him back. Sago formed a water whip and grabbed a hold of his ankle," Looks like you'll be leaving empty handed."

The Enterran broke free. He tried flying towards them once more, but was blocked by Sago and Kutal. He growled and flew away.

Everyone put their weapons down, but kept their guard up," That seemed too easy."

Kai put his daggers back into his sheath and grumbled," Something tells me that won't be the last time we see him. You girls alright?"

"Yeah, we're fine. Thanks," Katalina picked her bag off the ground and came out from hiding," Who would put a bounty on us? We haven't done anything wrong."

"It does seem a bit strange. You've only been in this world a couple of days and you've only been in one town," Kutal stepped back into his vehicle and cut it on," No need to dilly dally. We must continue our trip or else we will never make it."

"Yeah, let's keep going."

"After that I need something to calm my nerves," Katalina took her phone out of her bag along with a pair of headphones," If you need I'll be listening to some music. Other than that don't bother me."

The rest of the walk was calm. Everyone else conversed with each other, Katalina chiming in every once in a while to share her thoughts.

"That song doesn't sound too bad. Guess your taste isn't so bad," Kai handed her back her earbud," Suns going down. We should find a spot to make camp."

"Thank god! I was getting hungry."

"Like you weren't scarfing down those bars you had in your bag," Mushra laughed.

Heather glared at him and knocked him off his hoverboard," You're just mad because I didn't give you any!"

"That doesn't mean you had to push me off!"

Jaden giggled," Now, now children. Let's not fight."

"Let's stop here. I'll make us all a delicious dinner!"

"We'll help!"

Tears of joy started flowed from his eyes," You girls are so wonderful. It's so nice to have appreciative companions who don't take advantage of me."

"What?"

"We don't take advantage of you!"

"You won't even let us near the food when it's cooked! Let alone while you're preparing it!"

"Oh, pipe down," Jaden waved them off," Back off and let us do what we have to."

They crossed their arms and plopped down onto the ground like children," You guys are childish as fuck."

After much argument the food was finally prepared and everyone was enjoying their dinner," That was great! Are there any leftovers?" Before Heather could even turn around and check Kutal had already devoured the last bit of food.

"One thing you'll learn about Kutal. He's a total glutton," Kutal knocked Mushra against the head," Hey! It's not like I'm lying!"

Jaden stretched her arms out and yawned," All that walking sure made me tired."

Katalina agreed," Same here. I could definitely use a good nights sleep. I'm going to bed."

Sago nodded," We'll take turns keeping watch. With a bounty over your heads it's not safe to keep our guard down. Mushra, you'll take the first shift."

"Me? Why me? This is your idea!" Sago had already fallen asleep. Mushra huffed and fell back into his spot," What a jerk."

"Don't worry, Mushra. It's only for a few hours," Kai chuckled. As tempting as it was, Mushra refrained from slapping him with staff and wallowed in front of the fire they had made," Bunch of jerks."

It wasn't long until everyone else had fallen asleep. The crackling of the fire and Kutal's loud snores were the only thing keeping Mushra company," Stupid Sago. He should've taken first watch." He felt a slight itch in his nose and sneezed.

He stared intently into the flames, trying to keep his eyes open as sleep tried to overcome him," Can't. Fall asleep." He tried hard, but his efforts were useless. His eyes slowly shut close as he made himself more comfortable against the tree trunk he was leaning against.

Minutes later Jaden's eyes quickly shot open when she felt someone wrap their arms around her. She tried to scream, but they were muffled by their hand. They quietly dragged her away from the campsite as she struggled to break free," Pipe down or else I'll have to bring you back dead."

That voice. She recognized that voice. It was the mantis Enterran they had faced earlier. Why wasn't Mushra helping her? He looked over in his direction and noticed his sleeping body," Are you kidding me?"

She kicked her legs against the Enterran, but she knew he was too strong. She stopped trying to fight back and closed her eyes,'This is it. This is where I die. I just need to accept it.'

"Going somewhere?" she opened them back up,'Sago!'

"What?"

"Nice try bug brain, but she's staying with us!" Mushra surprised him from behind and hit the back of his knees with his staff. He let go of Jaden, giving her the chance to escape. Sago pulled her behind him," Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. Slightly disgusted, but fine."

"You! You were supposed to be asleep! The powder-" Mushra hit him again," It might have worked, but you forgot Kai has some pretty good ears."

The Enterran lunged towards and was able to sneak an attack in. Mushra fumbled back and dropped his staff," Damn it!"

"I've got this!" Kutal tried to hit him with his spiked mace, but missed.

"Sago, look out!" Jaden warned. The Enterran quickly flew towards them ready to knock them out until Mushra delivered the final blow. The Enterran disappeared and all that was left was card laying on the ground. Jaden picked it up and examined it," What is this?"

"Whenever Enterrans are defeated they turn into cards. Unless you destroy their cards, they're able to come back again," Sago explained as he tucked the card away," I'll keep it just in case it could be useful in the future."

Jaden looked at him, confused," As much as I'd like to ask what you mean I'm still pretty tired. Let's get back to the others."

Jaden looked at him, confused," I'd like to ask what you mean I'm still pretty tired."

"Jaden!" Heather ran up to her and squeezed her," I'm so glad you're ok!"

"I told you to wait back here, Heather!" Kai shouted from behind. She looked back at him and stuck her tongue out at him like a child," Screw that! I had to make sure my friend was ok!"

Katalina giggled as she rode behind Kutal's vehicle," Told you she would be fine."

"As much as I appreciate the love can we please get back to the campsite? I need my beauty sleep," Heather let her go and rested her arm over her shoulder," We're just glad you're alive and well."

Mushra offered her his hoverboard, but she refused. She knew if she tried riding it as tired as she was she would fall off in seconds. They arrived safely back to the site and settled in for the rest of the night. Sago volunteered to keep watch next and Mushra delightedly made himself comfortable again. The night went on without anymore kidnapping attempts and morning came. Breakfast was served and they were on the road again.

"Is this it?"

Sago sighed, the pitch in his voice changing"Yup. Welcome to the town of chance,"

Ah…. I really need to brush up on my writing. These fight scenes were never my forte. I was literally falling asleep near the end there too. It's late right bite I welcome any ideas or suggestions! Until next time.
