Saint Bernard- Lincoln

Hung pictures of patron saints upon my wall,

His dull, tired eyes looked around, scanning the pictures which hung loosely on his walls, one of them was crooked, and just as he went to stand, he remembered why they were there.

To remind me that I am a fool.

He looked down at his scarred hands. This thought wasn't completely inaccurate, like most told him. He was a fool, to ever do that. Everyone was right.

Tell me where I came from, what I always will be;

Just a spoiled little kid, who went to catholic school.

People often whispered about him.

"It's that insane kid, the one who destroyed the entirety of !"

"Such a spoiled brat!"

"If he thinks he can stay here, he's dead wrong!"

"When I am dead I won't join their ranks, for they are both holy and free."

Anna shook her head, looking over at him.

"You'll be the highest ranking saint! When we die."

He laughed, a bitter, hurt laugh.

"I'm here in Ohio, satanic and chained up."

Anna frowned.

"Don't say that!"

He shrugged.

"And until the end, that's how it'll be."

He slammed his hands over his ears as the orphanage suddenly became too loud, every noise heightened.

"It's okay! We love you, we're here, calm down hun!"

He said,

"Make me love myself, so that I might love you."

He looked up at everyone, who stared.

"Don't make me a liar! Cuz I swear to god, when I said it, I thought it was true."

Mrs. Aleen sighed, picking up the frail boy, he continued to sob in the woman's arms.

She placed him down on his bed before looking around the room and sighing.

Saint Calvin told me,

"Do not worry about it."

But he's got his own things to deal with.

He snarled and shook his hand free of the blood, which dripped like water from a faucet. The young girl who stood in front of him cradled her broken and bleeding nose with anger. He then realized something.

"If there's just one thing that we have in common.."

She seemed to understand and replied.

"It's that neither of us will be missed."

That day they went home, holding hands.

That day everyone found their dead cold stiff bodies on the driveway.

A Saint Bernard sits at the top of the driveway.

You always said how you loved dogs.

I don't know if I count, but I'll try my best while howling and barking these songs.
