"Hello there. Don't you look lovely." A feminine voice crooned with the slightest accent. Enough to notice, but only if she spoke soft enough.

A gloved hand snatched the glowing, green canister and jammed into her black messenger bag. The screeching sound had filled the room, red light spilling onto her half - masked face. She had set off the alarms, again. Pursing her lips, she brought up the building layout into her mind. She clutched the duffel in her hands as she started to sprint out of the warehouse. She could hear the heavy footsteps of the guards rushing down the hall. Slinking into the shadows, she took the proper turns, and disappeared out of the building. The guards caught sight of her as she launched herself onto the fence, above the barbed wire, and sprinting, she beelined into the heavy wood.

She began to pick up her pace as she sprinted through the wood and towards her bike, where it sat waiting in the middle of the woods. She could hear the heavy footfalls behind her as she vaulted herself over a fallen tree. Landing on her feet she began to weave in and out of the trees. Hoping to get the guards off her tail. This action caused the guards to unleash bullets in her direction.

"Always with the guns and the bullets… It wouldn't hurt to try something else now would it? But I suppose you just want to ruin this outfit don't you?" She muttered.

Finally, she made it to a clearing where her motorcycle was parked. Pressing a button on her gloved wrist the motorcycle roared to life. Rushing over, she threw the bag on the back of the bike and strapped it down. Throwing her right leg over, she snatched up her helmet, placing it on her head, as the guards burst from the tree line. The guards raised their guns in an attempt to fire for a second time. She didn't give them a chance as she guns the engine, tires shrieking to life as she tore her way through the heavy wood towards the dirt road that would take her away from the warehouse.

Once, she was far enough away, and almost at the highway, she takes off her helmet and tosses her mask into the black bag. She got off the bike to take the time to screw the license plates back on so that she can drive legally on the highway. She was in no mood to be pulled over and questioned by highway patrol, not after last time. After, she shakes out her hair, pulling it back into a low ponytail and puts on her full face helmet back on. Then, making sure that she wasn't followed, she pulled out onto the highway.

Upon reaching the mountain, she drifts into the large docking area that served as a makeshift hangar. Turning off the engine, she hit the kickstand with her foot, securing the bike in place. The AI announced her presence as she stood from the bike. She pulled off her helmet and shook her hair loose from the low pony. Unclipping the bag from the back of her bike, she grabbed her mask and secured it back up over her mouth and nose. After checking to make sure that she had everything, she made her way into the large open area that served as the briefing room.

It was quite funny, Batman was briefing a team of smaller heroes about a mission when she was announced. To be honest, she was tired and didn't want to wait. She would take his lecture if he gave it, not that she would listen to it anyhow. She began making her way towards him, finally coming into the lights of the mountain cave, eying the small heroes curiously.

"You are dismissed." Batman stated. Stoic as always. The small team began to walk off. Although they were doing it slowly, they didn't know who she was. She wasn't a member of the League that they knew of. Of course they'd be curious.

"Batsy." Eleanor said shortly, lips pursed. She didn't care that the little heroes hadn't fully left the room. She had a bone to pick with him, and by the days, she was gonna do it.

"Spirit." He replied the same way.

She tossed the bag at him as he moved towards the main table.

"I hope this little apple pie was freakin' worth it. It nearly cost me my life." She commented sassily.

"Perfect job, as always." Batman said halfheartedly. He opened the black messenger back and placed the canister on an open spot on the holographic, yet sturdy table in front of him. It wasn't often to find Kryptonite in a liquidated state. It was better in their hands than the hands of the enemy.

"So, anything new I should know about?" Eleanor asked slyly, a smile beginning to curl its way onto her face.

"No." Always with the short answers. Honestly, it would get him killed one day.

"Not even about those adorable junior heroes over there? Nothing? Wow Batsy, I'm a bit hurt." She crooned, grinning as she felt his irritation levels rise. Only she could antagonize Batman and get away with it. He needed her, not that he would say it of course, he would deny it after hell froze over.

"You think I could have been one, once? A cute little mini hero? Instead of doing what I do now and being absolutely amazing at it?" She mused, turning her head to look around Mount Justice.

"No." Oh, the one word answers. A Batman trademark more popular than the Batarang or the adorable Robin.

"How rude." Eleanor pouted as she began scuffing one of her boots against the floor, waiting for him to finish… whatever he was doing. Scanning the liquid Kryptonite for changes or impurities, or something. She didn't care, all she knew was that this silence was getting on her nerves, even with his fingers hitting the holographic keys.

"Can I meet 'em?"

"Absolutely not." Oh. OH. TWO words this time. A record breaker for the Dark Knight. A few more minutes of pestering and she might get her way.

"Why not? I'll be on my bestest behavior." Eleanor grinned, a nice cheshire grin finding its way onto her face. She even threw in the motion of batting her eyelashes to help prove her point. Not that it'd matter, she couldn't even begin to remember that last time that she was on her best behavior. She really only ever had one mode, being the wild child that she was.

"Bestest isn't even -" Batman cut himself off with a sigh. He knew that it was going to be easier to just let her go instead of trying to argue. She could give the politicians of Gotham a run for their money they way that she could argue and get her way.

"Fine. If it will shut you up. Under no circumstances are you to say what you do." He began moving to contact the little team.

"Oh. I get it," as she dragged out the 'oh' "You don't want them to know that I was the original." She nodded in mock seriousness. This was exciting though, the junior heroes were so cute and untouched by the true perils of the world. Something that she never really had.
