I genuinely cannot believe I'm rewritting this after 4 years ahah, I was 16 and now going to turn 20, but wow my grammar back then was terrible.
Anyways please review and let me know if there are any inconsistencies.
Disclaimer that I do not own teen titans.
After yelling at Raven, Beast Boy walked rapidly with his head down to the end of the corridor to his room and shut it louder than he had hoped. Startling a Robin sneaking out of Star's bedroom.
Garfield went straight to his bathroom to take a shower "I really got to take a nice cold shower, meat sweats are beyond gross" he takes his towel and goes in." why the hell did I scream at Raven, I sir Garfield do not want a death wish and argh why is it this time I'm craving meat too" Garfield closed his eyes and washed his locks of emerald hair. He thought about what Cyborg said, he didn't really think about his body structure. I mean sure the nicknames string bean, green bean, little dude and elf were not ideal but they were endearing despite the seed of truth that was sown into them. He traced his scarred fingers over his lean biceps and noticed how out of shape he was. He didn't feel adequate and wanted to impress his mate.
Wait, what?
His mate?
"Beast you're kidding, please tell me you haven't marked someone."
Silence, followed by a whine.
"Um HELLLOOOOOO, do explain yo self dude!"
The beast sighed and opened his mouth "There is a process, that involves seduction, domination and then marking for life, you haven't picked someone and I'm getting impatient", he howled and continued. "so we chose Terra years ago, however, she rejected your seduction and in turn us. We haven't felt like opening up the process again until now, what with Raven finally tolerating us, she seems...enticing." The beast smacked his lips as Beast Boy internally gave him a slap. "THAT IS NO WAY TO TALK ABOUT RAVEN, SHE IS NOT SOME TOY WE CAN JUST PLAY WITH AND PUSH HER AROUND LIKE AN OBJECT! By the way enticing does not imply inviting, she hates us violating her space". The Beast smirked, "Oh you didn't seem to have a problem with that this morning when you jerked yourself off to a saucy dream about that sorcerous while violating her space and some other parts." Beast Boy horrified, shut the shower off, dried himself hastily and wrapped his purple towel around his hip. He stepped out of his bathroom into his bedroom and sat on the bed. After taking a few deep breathes he yells at the top of his lungs, "UGHHHHH".
Garfield was conflicted to say the least, he never knew with Raven. Their relationship had been on thin ice since the moment they met. While they never cared for the other's activities, they affected each other more than anyone else on the team. If Beast Boy was upset or hurt, Raven would be the first to listen or heal. When Raven would shut herself from the rest of the team, Beast Boy would be the first that she would let in. That confused the young changeling. He never seemed to know where he stood with her, let along romantically. She was smart and sexy in her own right. The dark mysteriousness had an appeal for sure, he was drawn to it like a moth to a flame. He was forever attracted to her but to act on his attraction? He wouldn't dare. For a few reasons.
1) Its Raven, from his perspective she would never accept any form of intimacy from anyone. Only on the rarest of occasions would she let someone see her smile under her clock or hug her briefly.
2) Its Raven part 2. Again she would never be interested in him, he was the furthest away from her ideal partner.
3) The Beast, with Raven being half-demon, he could not underestimate the pull a demon would have on a beast. They would not keep their hands off each other and see 1) how that would be a problem.
That is why Beast Boy never spoke about his semi-frequent thoughts about the young empath with Cy. He would just laugh at him, because in reality that is how laughable they would look like if they resembled a couple. Too different, too dangerous.
His ears twitched picking up a sound he immediately jolts out of bed and walks and opens the door. "who's there?" "It's me Gar" Garfield's eyes open wide after hearing the half demon's voice "R-Rae w-what are you doing here?" immediately hyper-aware that he was standing half-naked in front of Raven of all people.
"Why did you have a shower without me?" she lightly smirks at him. His face goes dark red, scratching his head. "Oh um hi, yep I just wanted to save water haha!" He internally groaned at his stupid response.
He falls out of his daydream to find himself in the middle of the corridor where Raven was just opening her door to leave. Raven raised her eyebrow, puzzled, "Here I thought maybe the lack of meat made you dumber, but I think you're better off as a vegetarian. What in Azar's name are you doing half-naked outside my door?" She crossed her arms taking in the view while mentally repeating her mantra. He mummers a sorry I must've been preoccupied and looks down at his towel, blush creeping back to his face. She fought hard to not follow his eyes and resisted the urge to check him out once more, concentrating on his face. "Are you moving anytime soon or shall I get Cyborg to entertain you?" she forced a monotone voice even though she was quite flustered. Gar chuckled,"hahaha no thanks, I'll move Rae sorry about that." Raven walked past Beast Boy smelling his deep pine and mint shampoo leaving a small trace of a smile behind, just enough for Beast Boy to catch it. Leaving him more confused he went back to his room. Gar enters his room and opens his drawer and gets a purple shirt and a dark blue jean and says "I need to talk with Robin."
He found Robin in the gym with his boxing gear on, punching the boxing bag with earphones in. Beast Boy tapped him on the shoulder and yanked his earphones out. "Rob, we need to talk, I've been meaning to ask you if you could add more weight training in my schedule?" Robin stopped punching but the panting continued as he huffed and said, "Well Beast Boy I'll have to cut your sparring time and combat training with the team, if you're okay with working on your own for a few weeks you would be able to build more muscle." Beast Boy contemplated and then spoke, "Okay I'm fine with missing team combats, I really need to concentrate and build strength." Robin chuckled as he wiped his forehead with his grey face cloth. "Well if it's concentration you're after you've come to the wrong place, if you go down the corridor, down until the second bedroom at the end, you'll find an empath who's the guru of concentration." Beast Boy groaned, "She'd never be of help in this scenario, I need to spend some time alone and work at myself, I'm getting sloppy dude." Robin took off his gloves, looking quite concerned but gave a small smile, "Hey that's my job to critique the team buddy, I think you're doing just fine." Beast Boy nodded and looked down, exiting the gym, eyes forward he said, "Thanks Robin, I'll see you at weight training tomorrow." Robin looked back up at the lack of green and sighed.
