A/N Long time, my friends. It makes my heart so incredibly happy to see how much you all love this story. Thank you for 68k reads, it is more than Lil and I ever dreamed of. I would like to say that I know in the last author's note it stated that some bonus chapters would be coming. These bonus stories have been a long time coming. I haven't heard from Lil in a couple years, that's why no stories ever came. I don't know what happened and it saddened me not to hear from my friend. I decided I wanted to write one of those bonus chapters for you guys. So much love has been shown to this story and I want to give a little gift, since 2021 has already had such a rocky start.

I hope you all can forgive how horrid this chapter will be, considering it's just me (Booknerd) writing it. I haven't been in the mind of these characters in so long, I hope I can do it justice.

Also, did y'all hear about the Percy Jackson TV show coming? I started crying when Rick posted the super short teaser that was literally just the logo. Percy Jackson and his friends helped me through so much in my life and I can't wait to see it on my TV screen. :)))

This chapter is dedicated to you guys and Lil

Katie's POV

Today was the big day. Travis had asked me to go on our first date! In true Travis Stoll style, he messed up asking me, but of course I said yes.

*flashback*

"Hey, Katie Kat, how's it going?" Travis asked me, sitting beside me.

I gave him a playful shove with my shoulder, grinning. "You just saw me at dinner, Travis. My mood hasn't changed in the past ten minutes it took to get to the campfire."

"Oh, yeah, right. Haha." Travis rubbed the back of his neck, staring intently into the fire.

"If you stare any harder, you may just catch on fire."

"What? Oh, sorry, I'm just nervous."

"About what? What's going on, Travis?" I turned to face him, his face flushing a deep red.

"Uh, this is happening."
Travis jumped up and stood near the Apollo kids who had this instruments at the ready. They started playing a lovely melody and the other campers hushed up. Travis cleared his throat and did the last thing I expected him to do.

He started to sing.

"Katie, oh Katie, my fair lady of Demeter, you have my heart already, you Stoll it from me. I have a quick question, that I wish to ask thee, so please don't run from my horrid sing-ing."

I giggled, covering my face as I started to blush. Travis actually had a decent voice, not something I expected from the mischievous boy. All the campers were staring at me as Travis serenaded me. Some of the Aphrodite kids were swooning for me, watching my reaction like it was a drama show.

"My love, my lady, will you go on a date with me? We just finished a quest, oh yes it was tough, but you lead me to see-ee that Demeter kids aren't as bad as you seem. So, Katie, oh Katie, will you date me?" Travis crooned.

And just as I was about to answer, Connor popped out of nowhere with a sign that said 'Go out with me, Katie?" on it. Travis must have forgot that Connor was going to pop out because he jumped and ended up landing almost in the fire. Instead, he tripped and fell down. He knocked his head against a log near the fire and passed out. The Apollo kids who had been playing their sweet melody swiftly moved to pull him away and inspect his injuries. Travis had to be taken to the infirmary before I could answer him. Connor came to stand beside me, looking deflated and was letting the sign drag the ground.

"He told me to jump out when he finished the song. I didn't realize it would scare him!"

"It's alright, Connor, let's just go check on him."
Connor and I made our way to the infirmary where Travis was propped up in one of the beds, nibbling on ambrosia. When he saw me walk in, he gave me a lopsided smile and motioned for me to sit beside him. Connor must have thought that meant him, because he jumped up and laid beside Travis.

"I didn't mean you, Connor!"

"Well I'm comfortable, so I'm not moving."
Before Travis could respond, I stepped in.

"Yes." I said, smiling.

"Yes what?" Travis asked, looking confused.

I laughed, grinning. "Yes, I'll go on a date with you, you silly boy."
"Really? The song worked?!"

"Yeah, it did. You have a lovely voice, you'll have to sing for me again."

"Anything for you, Katie Kat."

*end of flashback*

I tugged at the end of my sweater, pulling the sleeves over my hands as I examined my outfit in the mirror in the corner of the cabin. A nice sweater with jeans and sneakers. Something casual. That's what Travis had said to wear. It was well into the Autumn season, so a sweater would do, as camp is not affected by the weather. I heard a knock at the door and hurried to open it before one of my siblings did. Travis stood on the other side, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hey, Katie Kat, you look gorgeous."

"Thanks, Stoll, you clean up nicely yourself." And I meant it. Travis had on a flannel overtop a plain tee with dark wash jeans and sneakers.

"You ready?"

"Absolutely."

I latched onto his outstretched hand and he led me through camp towards the woods. We walked for a bit before coming to a clearing where a picnic had been set up. I gasped, squeezing Travis' hand.

"You did all this for me?"
"Of course I did."

He led me to the blanket and we sat across from each other. Travis pulled some food out of the basket and we started to eat, making some conversation. After finishing the main course, Travis pulled out some dessert- chocolate Easter bunnies.

I barked a laugh. "How on Earth did you get Easter bunnies this time of year? And why would you bring those?"
"I have my ways, thank you. As for why I brought chocolate Easter bunnies, that's how our whole rivalry started. And now look at us, on a date." A crooked smile worked its way on his face, that mischievous gleam in his eyes sparkled.

"If this is your way of offering peace, you have to eat the bunnies first."

"Still don't trust me?" That crooked smile stayed in place.

"Oh no, I do. But I know there is no way of changing your prank ways."
Travis grinned and took a bite out of one of the chocolate bunnies. He held the other towards me and I lightly grabbed it, taking a bite. We stared at each other, taking in each others presence as we finished the chocolate. Travis stood up, grabbing my hand again and led me toward the lake. We walked along the shore, laughing and smiling, sharing stories with one another. Travis had his arm around my shoulder; I was snuggled into his side. He eventually stopped walking, turning to face me, a serious look on his face.

"What's wrong?"
"Willyoubemygirlfriend?" Travis spit out.

"What?"
"Katie Gardner, will you be my girlfriend? I know we've only been on one date, but after that quest we went through together, I feel like we shouldn't wait, let's go for it and I really like you Katie and I-"
"Travis."

"Huh, what?"
"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend."

Travis grinned, picking me up and spinning me around. When he sat me down, I placed my hands on his face and kissed him. I pulled away, smiling and staring into his eyes. I was excited to see where this relationship went, the hurdles we would jump together, the triumphs we would share. A whole new adventure with the boy who stole my heart.

A/N First, lemme explain the chocolate bunnies in case anyone is confused. I did a little research on Katie and Travis and according to the Riordan Wiki, their feud started from Travis and Connor putting chocolate Easter bunnies on the roof of the Demeter cabin. I thought I'd throw that fun little reference in there.

I hope this was a fun, cute lil story to get us through what has been a heck of a start to the year.

Would you guys want anymore one shots? If so, what would you want to see?

Stay safe out there, lovelies!
