YES. This story is canon to Connar's story!
"Over The Rainbow" is a side story that takes place about 3 years BEFORE she started Duel Academy. It places itself during the summers and time she spent at Duel Prep School. As such: IT CONTAINS SPOILERS.
So. Spoiler Warning. Enjoy^^
As per request of her boyfriend, Connar dressed nice and looked pretty in her most simple dress, escorted by a handsome bluenette who could really turn heads in a suit.
"An hour." he stated firmly,"You get this for one hour~"
"That works for me." she giggled,"I prefer you in frills anyway~" she nickered hugging his arm.
"Watch it little lady...you'll get yourself in trouble." he joked as he guided her to their table. It was a first class restaurant. At least by Jesse's standards it was. Having grown up in a world of luxury, by Connar's standards this was a normal place. At least following her father's logic. It was formal with table cloths and fancy napkins pairing well with formal wear on the gusts. Suits and dresses, and elegant menus.
"HaHaHa." Jesse would let out a light hearted chuckle when he watched Connar's excited face light up at the arrival of her shrimp.
"Connie...I don't think I have ever met anyone who likes shrimp as much as you." He chuckled teasingly yoinking one from her with a cheeky grin.
"...I like seafood." she blushed," Don;t you like fish, Jesse?"
"Fish is all right, steamed, grilled or southern fried..." he chuckled,"Though...I still prefer barbecue~"
She giggled.
"Then...next time...we'll do that instead...sound good?" She blushed, peeking up only to be met by his handsome face and charming smile which made her blush deeper.
"Wh-What?" she blinked shyly,"What is it?"
"Nothin." he chuckled,"I'm just glad."
"To...watch me eat shrimp?" she laughed awkwardly.
"Pfff." he chuckled,"Well, partly," he teased,"But mostly I'm glad because...you said 'next time." he smiled taking her hand in his and bringing it to his lips, placing a soft and tender kiss on her finger tips before pressing his cheek sweetly into her palm that he held to his face."Happy anniversary~ Darlin."
She returned his smile, while her blue eyes shimmered with tender emotions.

"That was Deeelish~" He beamed happily, plenty satisfied with the seafood restaurant. They walked together hand in hand enjoying the weather, and as Jesse stated, after an hour he was fully stripped of his Tuxedo blazer dressed in all his collar and frilly sleeved dress shirt glory. She smiled. It suited him well.
"You're starin'~"
"What!? N-No I'm not!" she blushed as he watched her with a side glance and a smirky chuckle.
"It's okay Darlin~" he teased,"No need to be so shy with what's already yours~" he winked.
"Stop it, you're cheating!" She giggled.
"How is that cheating~!?" he laughed as she started chasing him around, swinging her rabbit fists until he caught her last swing in his grip. She gave a startled gasp as he pulled her in closer and slid his free arm around her while placing a melting kiss upon her lips. It deepened with a heated passion that nearly took her breath away when it broke.
"W-well...I... uh..." he blinked blushing at their close interaction and shook his head softly before pulling back, keeping his hand wrapped warmly around hers,"I suppose it's getting late." he chuckled,"I'll walk you home."
The walk back was a long and quiet one. But it was a comfortable silence. Hand in hand, wearing smiles in the comfort of bliss in each other's company. A feeling short lived when they finally arrived at the destination and he let out an impressed whistle.
"You definitely from uptown, ain't ya?" he joked.
"Shut up it's not THAT impressive..."
"Says you." he laughed,"By the way...is it normally this empty?"
"Not usually." She said softly,"We let our live-in staff go on holiday once in a while."
"So charitable." he chuckled.
"I suppose..." She smiled softly,"But it's kinda..."
"Lonely~?"
She gasped as she instinctively covered her ears and began hyperventilating.
"Connie?" Jesse gasped,"Connie!" he panicked when he saw her in her panicked state and pulled her in close,"Connie, can you hear me? Are you okay!? CONNIE!"
She trembled when suddenly his warmth and presence surrounded her and she was able to calm herself down once again.
"Jesse..." She called to him softly with her blue eyes quivering.
"Thank goodness...you gave me a fright, Connie-Girl."
She trembled softly and shook her head gripping at his clothing.
"Please..." she whispered,"Please don't go..."
Jesse didn't know how to respond. He had never seen her, usually so lively, fall apart like this, let alone in front of him. He gently wrapped his arms around her and held her tight.
"Don't worry..." he whispered," I ain't goin' anywhere."

They cuddled together on the large wrap around couch watching whatever played on the theater quality television. It had an excellent picture, and was the size of a wall itself. Seto kaiba never skimped on quality. He held her warmly with an arm around her while she lay. Her head rested on his chest and both of her arms wrapped around his waist while his hand slowly ran down her hair until she was calm enough to peak again.
"I'm so sorry..." she whispered softly.
"For what?" he asked.
"I never wanted you to see me like that..."
Jesse blinked and remained silent as he ran his fingers through her hair and sighed.
"Honestly...I'm more upset that you didn't tell me about it." he said sadly,"You're usually so bright all the time it's hard to imagine you live like this." he said.
"Like what?"
"...Empty." he said as he looked around the empty and quiet mansion.
"Your dad and uncle are always away...your staff doesn't stick around all the time..." he sighed,"You're all alone in a house that's honestly just way too big to be alone in." he stated,"And I bet you never talk to anybody about either...do you?" he asked.
"Well..." she said with a soft blush, "...I'm not alone right now..."
"Heh...no." he chuckled,"I suppose you're not."
She smiled.
"Thank you, Jesse."
"What for?" he blinked curiously.
"For staying with me...I'm sure you're tired and would probably like to be resting in your bed back in your room." she chuckled.
"Are you kiddin' me?" he blinked,"First off this place is much nicer than any hotel room could match. And not because of all the fancy and gadgets and gizmos either~"
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"You see..." he said as he tilted his head toward her,"What makes this place nice isn't the couch or the big tv." he chuckled,"It's not even the fact that it's a mansion that makes it fancy." he blinked,"It's the fact that you're here in it that makes it so nice." he gave a cheeky grin and she blushed with a pout, though she couldn't maintain it as she soon found herself smiling and nestling her face into his chest in an attempt to hide that she had turned about 3 reds darker in the cheeks and she sighed.
"Jesse...I'm glad you're here with me." she said softly,"I feel safer with you." she blinked,"And...I'm happy." she blushed,"I feel like I'm seeing sparkles...is that weird." She laughed awkwardly hoping that this feeling wasn't just a side effect from her earlier panic attack.
"Darlin..." His voice got lower, smooth and gentle as he reached a finger under her chin and lifted it up to face him. He wore a look of serious expression...and a hunger in his eyes that gave her warm shivers.
"...So long as You're with me...I'll make sure you always see sparkles..." he blinked as he leaned in by her ear and whispered,"In every color of the rainbow~"
She blushed a heated crimson feeling his breath against her skin. A Visible chill animated from her, but she didn't push him away. In fact...she wanted more, but she didn't have the words to say, nor did she know how to express this. Though somehow, it seemed he knew. He gave a cheeky chuckle before pressing his lips into her neck. She let out a startled squeak, but only gripped tighter onto pleaded to him in a hushed voice which brought a rosy tint to his cheeks as he watched her with wide eyes, surprised yet more than happy to oblige. He smiled cupping her cheek as he leaned in with a tilt of his head capturing her lips in his. A sweet sounding sigh escaped her as she melted into his kiss, her hands gripping at his shirt while he shifted position, both hands squeezing her love handles until she giggled and he was able to roll her under him. They fell together, melting with each other into a night of wandering hands, and heated passion.
