Mako's Message: Getting better...just a little better...but better. Gotta keep it up. Btw, a little self promo, I've been writting some random scenes featuring original character of mine on my Facebook page. They're short and not in chronological order, but they're all part of the same story.

Anyway, on with the fic!

Dave has been great lately.

I've been fucking miserable though. Training has been practically unbareable. I've been popping pills like a pixie with a pez dispenser. It's been hard to even make myself go out on patrols. I just want to lay down. I haven't even been able to come up with halfway decent comebacks when Brook starts giving me shit, I just tell her to do the fucking thing or I'll kick her off the team. I swear it'd be easier to just stab her through the throat and hide the body than to keep dealing with her.

God I hate her.

Marcus noticed and I told him about how I was hurting, even the boob part because I was just hurting too much to be embarressed. He called...aunt Jasmin and she said it sounded like normal growing pains. Which is...good and bad news. Because yay, I'm getting taller and my boobs are growing. Nothing like a nice pair of tits to attract the guy you want. Except that it still FUCKING HURTS and both my legs and my tits aren't going to stop hurting until this growth spurt is over.

I'm so glad I assumed I'd grow more when I bought those new suits. If I'd known I was going to need the larger sizes so soon though I wouldn't have ordered any more in my current size.

And it just had to happen now too.

John came up with this "brilliant" idea for us to film a parody video of this super popular video for charity. I really didn't want to do it, it seems so stupid and I don't want to lose more of my mystery than I have to... But then John showed me the video and said he wants me to be the girl the lead is fawning over, and Dave would be the lead, plus I'd get to show off...and the song is actually pretty catchy. And he's convinved that between the popularity of the song and the draw of not just Jusstice Forever, but Hit Girl, would bring in THOUSANDS to help people hurt by the storm.

Alice has been a real help with that. I've been sticking to over the counter pills, but to make sure I'm able to spin around on the bar and just be my usual awesome self for the video she's given me some more powerful stuff. It's made the rehersals and filming kinda tricky though, because I don't want to take more than one dose, so we have to be really careful about when I take it and how long we film. It should be done in a few days though.

Angela is really enjoying it too. She's also helped me with make up to change the shape of my face and nose a little. Hopefully nobody will notice. Marty also came in to fill out the back up dancers. And add some variety to the cast. There's not a lot of us after all.

It's nice to see him in that Battle Guy suit I had made for him too.

John did get Grey Guard to join us. He's not as secret as Biker Knight was, but he's not really acting like our friend. I don't mind. I feel the same. I'd be worried if he was trying to act like our best friend. But he'll probably join us officially soon.

He also asked The Guardian to join us, but he refused. Thank fuck. He said he might help us occasionally, but he is not going to be officially affiliated with us. What an asshole.

But Dave has been great. He knows I'm hurting and has let me set the pace for everything. He hasn't been asking if I'm ready or anything either. He's just waited patiently for me to be able to keep going. And not just when we're training either. When we're hanging out, or walking somewhere, he just acts like he's perfectly happy sitting there however long I need to or moving at whatever pace I set. We've been hanging out at my house a lot actually, watching movies and stuff. And when he works he always brings me ice cream.

The novelty has worn off now though. He always brings me something different, but having it almost every day is getting kinda boring. But seeing him come in with the bag still makes me happy. Plus getting to snuggle up to him is almost worth the pain. Almost.

Mako's Post Script: It's Gangnam Style. They're filming a Gangnam Style parody.
