Mako's Message: Not a week later, but close enough. I do have another project going, but since it's intended to be...drabbles, essentially, I'm waiting to have a few chapters written so I can drop them all at once. Been working on that. To an extent.
Anyway, I'm gonna try and force this forward so we can get to the next major plot point as quickly as I can...which probably won't be all that quick. So we'll see how it goes. I'm thinking of giving up my idea of "60 chapter books" for this last book and just make it...however long it ends up being. Trying to figure out an end "on or around 300" or "on or around 360" was stressing me out. So, we'll just see what happens.

Anyway, enjoy.

Okay, what's happened since last time….

Well, we have a Wii U. I feel kinda dumb because It's been in the house since Christmas, and I didn't know it was ours. I played on it with Delton for hours and all that time I thought he'd brought it. And then left it behind by accident. Who knows how long I would have thought that if I hadn't asked Marcus when he was going to send it back to him. But nope. He said, "What do you mean 'send it back'? This is ours. You don't remember me telling you?"

In my defense I was really fuzzy.

When I asked why he bought one, since I almost never touched the Wii he got me, he said, "Yeah, but I did."

I almost felt guilty, but since he enjoyed it enough to buy another one I don't really have a reason to. I'll try to remember to play it with him when we have a Family Night.

Angela convinced me to buy a pair of skates. We only skated once so far, in the arena attached to the store...or is the store attached to the arena? Whatever. It was fun and certainly was a different experience than standing. It wasn't really hard though, so I don't know if it'll help. But it's still a different set of skills, so learning them will help me be better. Probably.

This girl sat down next to Angela while we were eating lunch today. I didn't know her, but Angela at least knew OF her since she knew her name was Rebecca. I really should pay more attention to my classmates. I'm pretty sure some of them joined up with the Cunts, at least temporarily. I know at least a couple dozen of the upper classmen have disappeared since Chris started gathering followers, but they could have been killed BY the cunts as easily as… Huh. I wonder if killed any of them?

Eh. If I did they were pieces of shit.

Anyway, I'm usually thinking about other stuff. Training, missions, Dave and my other friends. Or, ya know, my school work. But knowing more about my classmates would probably be a good idea… Not that Rebecca is a classmate. I guess she would've been if I'd never skipped a grade, but I never had classes with her.

It's times like this that remind me what a fucking social butterfly Angela was when we met. I thought she'd given that up when she started hanging out with just me, Jessi, and the guys.

Anyway, I didn't like her just inserting herself into out lives. Angela didn't seem to mind and was even talking to her, so I just tried to ignore her. But then towards the end of lunch Angela asked, "So why'd you come sit with us?"

And she blushed and stuttered and finally said, "I wanted to make cool friends."

Angela laughed and went full ego mode for second as she puffed her chest out, lifted her head up, and jabbed her thumb at herself, "Well then you made the right choice, we're so cool we don't care about being cool!"

I like to think I'm really good at being stone faced and unreadable, but I couldn't help snorting at that. I said, "Well she's not wrong about that," then took my stuff to the trash while Rebecca was recovering from the shock of me saying something.

Then the bell rang so I just went to my next class. Angela's was in the other direction anyway.

And now it's time to head out for my first night back in costume since I got sick.

Can't wait to start kicking some ass again.
