Mako's Message: ... So, I had a dissagreement regarding some future elements of this story with an old friend of mine a few weeks ago, and it really put me off writing. We're also in kind of a...plot defecient time span. So... here is a chapter. And hopefully I can get out of this slump quickly and write a whole bunch of stories because damn do I wish I could get fanfics out on like... a weekly basis. At minimum. Anyway! Enjoy! Cause we're only a few months away from Mindy's Birthday.

I can never catch a break. It's always either bullshit or boredom. Like, the fact that Riley has Dave and zero intention of ever letting him go, not that I blame her, isn't enough, now there's a new hot girl at NYBC. I mean, I don't think Dave is going to jump ship from Riley to Sheena, but godamnit the fact that she's there and blatantly flirting with him doesn't help.

She's not like… Like… She's HOT. I mean, Riley is hot, but she's also beautiful. She looks like the kinda girl that every guy would want. Sheena looks like the girl who's gonna come steal your man because she knows she can.

I was talking to Marty after and he said, "Ah, so you met the goth girlfriend every guy wants."

And Angela said, "I don't think she's goth. She's more like… punk light?"

I don't know what to call her. All I know is that her hair is dyed a really REALLY dark blue or purple, and it's short and kinda swept to the side but on the other side it's even shorter and swept back so it almost looks like it's shaved down, her eyeshadow and lipstick are like...the same color and she wears a lace choker.

Even in the NYBC uniform, I walked in, saw her, and thought, "Oh no."

She's just so…

Riley seems amused by her though. She was flirting really hard with a customer and Riley came up behind her with a new pack of cups and bopped her over the head with it and said, "Down girl."

Dave just rolled his eyes when I asked him about her. He said she was nice but flirted with everybody and wasn't sure if that's just how she came off or if she was just casting the widest net ever. He also said it was her first job so she might have just been taking Rileys "one letter difference between tits and tips" line too seriously. She also, apparently, wasn't able to have a lot of friends because her parents basically had her on house arrest for most of her life and that's why she's so "friendly" with everyone.

Personally I don't buy it. I think she's just giving Dave whatever excuse she thinks he'll buy so she be all close to him and then pounce on him when he least expects it. Like...get him to walk her home and then pull him into her apartment and throw him onto the couch and then...literally jump him.

I'm not super worried that he'll give in, since if he would I'd probably have seduced him already, but I AM worried she'll try.

Angela gets along with her. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

Cheerleading has been… Okay.

Brook seems to have accepted that I'm not going anywhere. I may not have a huge following of loyal...psychophants but enough people just...don't like her enough to be on my side of neutral. Like, they much prefer me with power than her.

New sports season though. And competitions are starting. So hopefully she just focuses on winning and not being a little shit.

I seriously doubt that'll happen, but a girl can hope, right?

Otherwise it's going pretty well. I don't think we have anybody that really makes up for the loss of Cameron AND Tashaya, but I think the team's ability is higher over all. I guess we'll know for sure soon since locals are coming up.

And ironically the hero side of my life has been the most boring. Nobody has been causing trouble on the streets. We haven't found anybody dealing on street corners. Nobody hitting up stores for protection money. None of the tips about robberies or shady deals going down panned out. The most exciting thing that happened was a request to supervise someone moving out of an abusive household. I ordered them a door blocker and told them not to hesitate to give us call again.

I wont be surprised if we do hear from them again. I don't know what the guy's problem was but he honestly looked like he wanted to kill them. I'm really mad he was smart enough to not try anything while we were there, because I would have LOVED the opportunity to "accidentally" cripple them. Or kill them if I got lucky. But no, he just sat there glaring absolute murder at us and them as their friends helped them get their shit out.

But all the quiet meant I had more free time at home, so I ended up spending what would've been a movie night playing games with Marcus. We've spent most of the time with this game where one player, usually me, runs around on the ground shooting robots, while the other player pilots a ship giving air support. I get the feeling that the ship is the, "let your little brother play" option, but Marcus doesn't seem to mind because we make WAY better progress when I'm doing most of the work and he's keeping enemies off my back. I think we spent like...four hours playing it last time.

Otherwise it's given me plenty of time to train, so I guess that's good.

Mako's Post-Script: A few months ago I was banned from facebook with no warning or explanation, and the Makokam Productions page went with it. I don't think I'm going to get it back. I've since been using twitter. If you're interested. makokam1
