The concert is over and Olivia and Mellie are waiting for Marcus to find them. Olivia decides to start talking first.
"For a country concert, that was very good."
"That was good Liv? That was fucking amazing." Mellie replied.
"Yeah your right it was fucking amazing. Every song was awesome."
"Did you see him looking our way most of the time?" Mellie mentioned. "I think he likes me."
"Yeah I noticed" Olivia mumbled. Only she knew that Fitz wasn't looking at Mellie and was looking at her. The thought of it made her blush.
"Why are you blushing?" Mellie spoke noticing Olivia's cheeks were a shade of pink.
"Nothing." Olivia answered.
"Hi ladies." Marcus yelled waving his hands in the air to get their attention.
"Let's go Liv." Mellie spoke dragging Olivia in the direction of Marcus.
"Hi Marcus." Olivia was the first to speak when her and Mellie reached Marcus.
"Hey." He replied. "Are y'all ready for the party? I know I am."
"Hell yeah!" The girls replied in unison.
"Okay, right this way." Marcus spoke showing Mellie and Olivia to the party.
As they were led to the back, Mellie decided to spark a conversation with Marcus.
"So how long have you know Fitz?"
"Since we were in elementary school together. We had the same teacher in second grade and have been friends ever since." Marcus answered.
"Wow that's a long time." Mellie replied.
"It is, I consider him my brother. We are always there for each other."
"Are you an only child?" Olivia decided to speak now.
"I am."
"Nice, me too."
"Well here we are." Marcus pointed around the crowded lounge. "Anything I can get you ladies?"
"I'm set." Olivia replied.
"Me too." Mellie chimed in.
"Okay, I'll see you both around then."
With that the girls we left on their own.
"I'm gonna mingle around a bit. Let me know when you want to leave." Mellie told Olivia. "Oh Liv, have fun. Meet some people and forget about Jake and what he did to you." Now Olivia was by herself.

"Hey man, they're here." Marcus told Fitz.
"Thanks, your the best." Fitz replied.
"No problem. I'm gonna try to find her friend again, see ya later." Marcus announced then left.
"Time to find the girl who caught my eye." Fitz thought to himself, he was on a mission.

"I don't understand how Mellie expects me to find her. It's crowded and loud." Olivia thought to herself.
"Hey" Olivia was taken out of her thoughts by a deep baritone voice talking to her.
"Uh hi." She mumbled, kind of blushing once she realized who it was.
"Do you want to take a walk to get some air?" Fitz asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Sure."
The first part of their walk was awkward, so Olivia decided to break the silence.
"When did you know that you wanted to be a country singer?"
"Well, my dad is a singer too, so I was introduced to it at young age. I guess it stuck, and now it is something I love to do. I look forward to spending time at the studio and writing new songs and albums." He answered.
"What do you do?"
"I teach fourth grade." She responded.
"Nice. That sounds fun."
"It is, I really enjoy teaching."
"You seem like a nice teacher." Fitz added.
"I think I am, but my students might think otherwise." Olivia said with a laugh.
"Probably." Fitz said with a slight chuckle.
"I feel bad because I don't know your name, and you know mine." Fitz stated.
"Olivia Pope."
"Olivia. But your students call you Mrs. Pope?" Fitz asked inquiring about her relationship status.
"No, they call me Miss. Pope, I'm single." There was his answer.
"hmmm." Was all that he spoke.
Sometime between them talking and walking they ended up closer together and holding hands.
"So what do you do for fun Miss Pope." Fitz teasingly asked Olivia.
"I swim, and I also coach the little league."
"Baseball?"
"Yes sir."
"So I assume since you coach it, you watch it to?"
"Yup."
"Who's your favorite team then?"
"Yankees"
"Cool"
"Could I ask you something." Olivia spoke looking at Fitz.
"Go ahead."
"Did you feel a spark when I was close to you getting our picture together? I might be going crazy but I felt something. I don't if it's a sign or what it is." Olivia rambled on until Fitz's lips were on hers, shutting her up.

All I got to say, is that Fitz went for it. We will unravel Olivia's past later on. Will Mellie fall for Marcus instead of Fitz? You'll see. ;)
I hope you enjoyed, please leave a review!
P.S. whoever recommended Tennessee Whiskey, thank you! I love that song. :)
