Chapter 3: It Starts

"The time is coming for another awakening" the loud and noble voice decreed throughout the black and empty space of One for All.

"And who do you think it will be this time?" All for One's brother replied as he looked off into the distance.

It took a moment for the other voice to respond, but when it did, it only did with a whisper (but it was still quite loud), "One of the young ones".

"I see" the brother calmly exclaimed as he smiled, "The ninth will be surely surprised by their presence".

And as soon as their conversation began, it ended, and the black space became unobservable again.

Ultear entered the room which and with a smirk, she remarked, "It's a shame about what happened to Deliora".

And the man who she was talking to started to get out of his seat as she continued to talk, "Who could've expected such power from such an unknown individual".

"To think that I thought that I could be one step closer to my goal if I had obtained it, but alas, fate did not deem it so, so please forgive me, Siegrain" she exclaimed as she looked to the man who had gotten up from his chair and was looking at her.

"I wouldn't see this as a failure, after all, somehow the pieces are still falling together" Siegrain said.

"Although I still can't help but think that Ur had a direct hand in how Deliora was dealt with as well" he then remarked as he gave Ultear a sly smile.

But she just held her hand up to his mouth gently to quiet him, "I think that you are going off topic" she then retorted.

She then continued their conversation, "Disregarding that unknown factor, our highest priority is to take the next step, after all we don't even have to worry about the pieces falling together" she said.

"Yes, and…, what's wrong with you?" Siegrain started to reply, but he then noticed something was off.

And suddenly the left side of Ultear's face swelled up, "Wha.., What is this?" she retorted as she felt pain.

"So it finally has swelled up!" Siegrain exclaimed with a small chuckled as he Ultear held her face.

"That reminds me, how was facing the other one, how was Natsu?" he then inquired as his face lost a bit of its jovialness.

Ultear held the side of her face as she responded, "It was impressive, even considering the fact that I used less than half my power…, he will get stronger…, much stronger".

"I suspect so…," Siegrain retorted as he clenched his fist, "He is Igneel's child".

Siegrain then looked off menacingly into the distance, "And to fulfill my dream…, he should continue to burn brightly" he exclaimed as a dark look crossed his face.

And while Siegrain stated this, Ultear slightly smirked as she had her own thought, ("And since I don't have to worry about you singling out that other one, I can allow myself a bit of time to grasp an understanding of 'his' capabilities").

The team had arrived at the town after about two days of travelling, and as they arrived, Midoriya's arm had properly healed so he had disposed of his cast.

"We've come back" Natsu announced with a fist to the sky as they walked through the city, and everybody glanced at him with a smile.

"We're back!" Happy then exclaimed after him.

Midoriya smiled at them, and then looked around at the town, "This looks like a nice place" he said as softly glanced at the buildings and the people.

"So you think that you will be okay with staying here?" Erza asked him as they walked.

And with a nod, and a slight shrug, Midoriya grinned, "Let's see" he said.

Gray then spoke up as they walked through the centre of the town, "Yeah we're back, but do you think that the payoff was worth it for all that work" he stated.

Happy also piped up after him, "It was an S-Class mission after all".

But Erza responded with a sensible answer to this, "Well it wasn't an official mission, so you can't expect much more" she said, to which Gray and Happy depressingly nodded.

And while the two of them nodded, Lucy popped up from the right of Erza nodding happily at her answer, "Right, Right, we have no reason to complain!" she said as she smiled widely.

Midoriya noticed her expression, and then remembered what they told him about the outcome of their mission while he was out of commission, "So you are a celestial spirit wizard, right, so what kind of key did you get?" he asked as he suddenly pulled a notebook out of nowhere.

"Yeah" Happy then said after him, "After all, you were the only one to actually profit from that mission?".

"Maybe you would be willing to sell it?" Happy then blurted out, but this just made Lucy look at him with a shocked expression.

"How dare you?" she remarked as they all continued to walk, "You know that there are only twelve keys that go to the golden gates, so they are rarer than you can possibly imagine, and the one that I obtained was the one for Sagittarius, the half-horse and half-man".

"Yeah, you wouldn't want to give something that rare up" Midoriya said as he continued to scribble in his notebook, which garnered the attention of the others.

"So what are you writing?" Lucy asked as she looked back at Midoriya with a puzzled glance, "And where'd you get the notebook from, I though you said that you don't have any magic?".

"Yeah" Natsu then joined in the conversation as he also looked back at Midoriya, "And how'd you also make those gloves appear when you needed them?".

Midoriya looked at the both of them, and with a flick of his right hand, he was wearing his air force glove on it, and with another flick, it had disappeared.

"The one's who sent me here, they have all the stuff I had prepared for coming here, and since I have nowhere to currently store them, they allowed for me to summon them when I need them until I get a place to keep them at" he said as he made the notebook in his left hand disappear.

"So couldn't you store other items or something" Gray remarked, but Midoriya shook his head at this response.

"The moment I find a place to stay, the items will all show up, and I will probably no longer have access to that space" he responded with, "And I wouldn't want to abuse it anyway, better not to push my luck, you know".

"But it wouldn't take any magic, wouldn't it be cool to try and see what you could store?" Happy then asked.

But before Midoriya could respond, Erza spoke, "He's smart to not push his luck when it comes to beings of unimaginable power like that".

"Yeah, you wouldn't want to piss off some being that could control your very existence or anything" Gray then stated.

Happy and Natsu both sadly nodded at the dejected idea, and as they continued to walk Erza then stopped as she glared at Gray, Lucy, Natsu and Happy.

"Now then, the first thing to be handled here, is that we go to the guild and dispose of you people" Erza stated as she stared at the four.

And then she looked to Midoirya, "And allow for you to join the guild" she said.

Midoriya gave her a silent nod, but the other four each reacted to the realisation that they were still in trouble.

"Wha, wha…, Nooooo, I was trying to forget that" Natsu, Lucy and Gray, then said, respectively.

"In my opinion, I think that you should be generally forgiven" Erza said as she glared at the Galuna island quartet, "But it would be the Master who will be deciding the punishment, and since I have no intention of acting as a defender, I would suggest that you prepare yourselves for whatever punishment he decides is best for you".

Happy then looked up at Gray worryingly, "You don't think he'd make us do 'that', do you?" he concerningly asked.

And this made Gray start to panic, "Wait, Not 'that', I never want to do that again" he yelled as he grabbed his hair.

Happy responded to this answer with just echoing "Nooooo" as he started to sweat.

"What is 'that'" Lucy screeched as she listened to their interaction.

But Natsu then slung an arm around her, and with a smile he tried to comfort her, "Don't worry Lucy, He's sure to say, "Well done", and heap on the praise" he exclaimed.

Lucy just looked at him depressed and then responded meagrely, "The eternal optimist".

Erza looked back at Natsu and gave him a nod, "I trust 'that' will be exactly what you can expect, heh heh" she said with a smirk, "and I'm looking forward to it".

But Midoriya just looked on at this exchange in pure terror, "Umm, what is 'that'" he quietly asked Erza as he walked beside her.

And she waved a hand at his response, "You'll probably find out soon enough" she said as Midoriya saw a glint in her eye.

"Oh" he mouthed.

He then looked to Natsu, and saw that the young man was starting to break down, "NO, I'LL TAKE ANYTHING, AS LONG AS IT IS NOT 'THAT'" he yelled as he dropped to the ground, and although it looked like he was about to make a break for it, Erza grabbed him by the scarf and started to drag him.

"I think I might be reconsidering this whole thing" Midoirya gravely remarked as he trudged alongside everybody, and from the looks of four-fifths of the group he was with, he started to figure out how differently this new life for him would be.

After a couple minutes of walking, (and Erza continually dragging Natsu), they were starting to arrive at the end of the street, but suddenly everybody came to a sudden stop, and not knowing what was going on, Midoriya also stopped and looked at everybody else.

"Guys, what's going on?" he questioned as he saw they all had shocked expressions plastered on their faces.

But since they were only responding in aghast reactions, he instead followed their line of sight to see a destroyed building with what looked like metal pillars stabbed throughout it.

"What happened here?" he quickly stuttered.

"That's our guild…, what happened here?" The others all exclaimed as they continued to look on in shock.

Midoriya's eyes widened as he he fully noticed all the damage that had occurred to the building.

"Who…." Natsu said as he gritted his teeth.

And Erza glared at the ruined building with an angered look on her face, "What's the meaning of this?".

They all continued to look up at it, and although Midoriya felt that he should say something, he remained quiet, as he did not want to make a bad situation worse.

"Phantom" a voice said from behind them, and they all turned to see where it originated from.

And Midoriya see a young looking woman with white hair and a sullen look on her face behind them.

"I don't want to say this," the woman said as she looked down at the ground, "but they defeated us".

They all just looked at her in shock, but then Midoriya spoke up, "Who's Phantom?" he asked as he fully realised the situation he was in.

But the white-haired just looked confused at his question, "Who…, who are you?" she quietly asked as she noticed him.

And before he could answer, Erza interjected, "Mirajane, this is Izuku Midoriya, we ran into him on Galuna Island, he wants to join Fairy Tail, and we will get to that, but right now, tell me," she said as she looked softly at the other woman, "Where is the master?".

Mirajane sighed and started to walk towards the wreckage, "He is in the basement, as well as everybody else" she replied as she led them to a set of stairs that led to the aforementioned basement.

And as they walked down, the sound of chatter became louder and louder as Midoriya realised the basement was quite large and was occupied by a large amount of people.

But he was brought out of his observation by people that were yelling directly at the stairs, "Hey, Erza's back, Natsu and Gray are with her!".

They all reached the bottom of the stairs, and as they walked, a couple of individuals turned to talk to the group directly.

First was a man with a necklace of skulls, "Did you see?!, What they did to our guild?!, Dammit!" he said as he pointed upwards.

Then two other voices spoke, "Those Phantom Lord creeps!, Look what they did!" one of the voices said, while another replied, "We never did get along with them!".

And off to the side, a young man was scowling as he talked to someone, "Now we're going to have to take their guild out!" he stated.

And the person he was talking to responded with an attempt to pacify him, "Calm down!, We're talking about Phantom Lord here!".

Midoriya listened to all of the conversations that were going on around him and he came to a few conclusions; One, that this other guild that had attacked Fairy Tail was quite reputable, Two, They were also quite antagonistic, at least in relation to Fairy Tail, and Three, he felt like he wanted to do something in response to the destruction he had seen happen to the building.

But he remained quiet as they all approached a short old man with a jesters hat, who was sitting on somewhat of a table, and appeared to be slightly intoxicated, especially in regards to the fact that he was holding a large mug of some kind of alcohol.

"Yo" the old man said as he held his hand up at the group, "Welcome home!".

"Thank you" Erza replied, "It is good to be back".

Then, it looked like Natsu was about to yell something at the old man, the old man, who Midoriya had surmised to be the master, enlarged his hand and swatted Natsu to his side, "And who might you be?" he asked as he opened an eye and looked at Midoriya.

And in that brief moment, everything went quiet, but with a quick look from the old man, everybody but the group he was with went back to their individual chatter.

Midoriya saw this and gulped, but he then sighed, "Hello, I am Izuku Midoriya" he said as he bowed, "And I would like to join your guild".

The man saw him bowing, and although it looked like he was about to retort with something sarcastic, he cracked a smile on his face and looked down at the young man, "No need for that here young man, everybody is welcome here" he said as Midoriya stood up straight and looked at him directly.

"I am the guild master, Makarov Dreyar, and you are more than welcome to join our guild" he said, and Midoriya responded with a heartfelt smile as he heard the man's response.

"Thank you" he said as he realised he had truly started the first part of his new life.

Mirajane then walked over to him, "Since you have decided to join us, where would you want your guild mark, and what colour would you like it to be?" she asked as she smiled at him.

And although her smile made Midoriya slightly fluster, he looked down at his right arm, and after a second of looking at the scars that remained from all of the injuries he had sustained, he held out his open palm.

"Can I get it on the palm of my hand please?," he asked, "And can it be green?".

"Sure" Mirajane replied as she placed the stamp onto his open palm, "Nobody has ever asked me to put it there before" she also said.

She then removed the tool she had used to place the stamp, and on Midoriya's palm, the mark of Fairy Tail was present, to which he responded with a smile.

And although it looked like Mirajane was about to ask him a question, Natsu had quickly gotten back up on his feet after being swatted and was in Makarov's face, "Hey old man, this is no time for silly business and drinking" he exclaimed.

But instead of responding in the way that Midoriya thought he would, Makarov instead said something else, "Oh you're right…, You people stole an S-class quest and went off without permission" he said.

To which Gray and Lucy responded with a big, "Huh!".

And Midoriya just looked on in thought as he watched, wanting to understand what would come about from going against the rules, ("I hope they don't get punished too severely") he thought as he looked on.

"You will be punished!" Makarov exclaimed, "I will now dole out your punishment!, Prepare yourselves".

"THIS IS NO TIME FOR THAT!" Natsu angrily interjected, but he was then silenced when Makarov chopped his hand down on his head.

Makarov then chopped his hand down on Happy and Gray's head, and then he finished by smacking Lucy's butt, but he had a cheeky expression on his face as he did that.

"Master" Mirajane exclaimed with a flustered expression as she looked down at the old man, "Stop that right now!".

The scene was interrupted by both Erza and Natsu as they questioned the master.

"Master!, Do you realise the situation you are in?!" Erza questioned as she frowned.

And Natsu just shouted, "The guild's in ruins!".

But Makarov just lazily looked off into the distance, "Oh, just pipe down" he muttered, "It's nothing to make a fuss over".

"Nobody was hurt" Midoriya said as he observed the facial expressions of the master, which made Natsu turn around to him.

"So?!" he yelled.

"He's right" Makarov said as he gulped down about half the glass he was holding, "I mean, is this the worst those Phantom fools can do?".

"It was an empty guildhall after all, what would anybody get out of vandalizing it" Makarov stated with an indifferent glance as he looked six individuals in front of him.

"So the fact that nobody was hurt is a bright spot in this whole mess" a voice from somewhere else in the basement then said in agreement.

Makarov then passively waved his hand, "What's the use in getting upset over a bunch of weaklings who couldn't even progress past the ambush stage?" he said with a relaxed look, "Just ignore them!".

Natsu slammed his hand onto the table in response to this, "I can't do that" he exclaimed, "I cannot rest until they have been completely crushed!".

But his statement was looked over by Makarov as he talked to the whole group, "This discussion is finished, We'll be taking jobs here until upstairs is repaired" he informed the group.

"Who takes jobs at a time like this!" Natsu then yelled directly into the master's face.

And Makarov responded to him, "Natsu, shape up" he yelled, while he tried to smack Lucy's butt a couple more times.

But as Mirajane gave him a judgemental look, Makarov quickly ran off, saying that he had to use the toilet due to his excessive drinking.

And after everybody was forced to accept that they just could not retaliate, Natsu calmed down a bit, and Midoriya just smiled as he watched Natsu just continue to grumble.

"Why did you get the stamp on your palm" Mirajane then suddenly asked as she walked up to Midoriya, and the young man quickly turned around to face her.

And the rest of the group also quickly turned to listen to why he did that, but he gave them a sad smile as he looked down at the guild mark that was present alongside a couple of scars.

"To make sure that I always have something to hold onto" he replied as a couple of tears suddenly fell down his face.

Mirajane gave him a soft nod before she walked off, and the rest of the team all went off on their own to do their own thing.

But since he was technically homeless, Midoirya chose to stay down in the basement, sitting on a chair, and twiddling his thumbs.

"I wonder where I'm going to stay until I find my own place" he muttered as he started to count something off with his fingers.

And as he glanced and saw Lucy leave the basement after everybody else, he heard a giant yell from behind him, and saw a tall white-haired man screaming something about being manly, and then the man's eyes settled on Midoriya.

"So you're the new guy that Mirajane mentioned" the man said as he looked down at Midoriya, and although the young man was hesitant, he nodded as he looked up.

"Hello, I'm Izuku Midoriya" he said as he slightly gulped, "And who are you, if I can ask?"

"I'm Elfman" the man replied, "I'm Mirajane's younger brother".

"Oh" Midoriya said as he quickly processed what he had heard, "It's nice to meet you".

"So I heard that you use some kind of destructive magic" he said as he sat down next to Midoriya, "I gotta say, that sounds pretty manly".

But Midoriya just gave him a puzzled look, "Umm, who told you that?" he asked.

"When Natsu and Happy were leaving, they quickly told me about you, and that you managed to destroy a giant beast with only one attack with your destructive power" Elfman stated as he looked to be sizing up Midoriya, "And that your attack also destroyed a large amount of the area around the creature as well".

("They probably forgot Deliora's name, I don't know if it's in my favour or not that people know about that, maybe I should be careful") Midoriya though as he gave Elfman a raised eyebrow.

"Well it's not exactly magic" Midoriya replied as he held up his right arm.

He then activated full-cowling at one percent, and as it started to spark with its distinctive energy, he continued to talk.

"I have an ability that stockpiles energy, and it allows me to exert in many different ways" He said as he tensed his arm, and then deactivated the full-cowling.

"That's pretty manly" Elfman exclaimed, and then he was about to say something else, but before he could, a large crash was heard from near the entrance to the basement.

And the two of them looked over to see a bit of smoke, and walking out of said smoke were Natsu and Happy, and it looked like they were looking for someone.

But as soon as their eyes settled on Midoriya, he gulped as he realised something bad was probably about to happen.

"Hey Izuku" Happy yelled out as he and Natsu quickly scurried over to Midoriya and Elfman.

"Hey guys" Midoriya replied sheepishly as he started to consider just running away, but then Natsu's next statement forced him to reconsider this plan.

"So you said you haven't got a place to stay right" Natsu asked as he smiled at Midoriya, and although he was still hesitant, Midoriya replied with a nod.

"Well, we're gonna go crash at Lucy's tonight, did you wanna stay with us tonight?" he asked.

And although every bone in Midoriya's body was screaming danger, he sighed and stood up.

"That would be perfect actually" he responded as he gestured for Natsu and Happy to lead the way.

But before they left, Midoriya quickly turned around and gave Elfman a quick bow, "Goodbye" he said and then walked after Natsu and Happy.

Elfman looked on as the three of them left, and he grinned, "That kid has gotta be strong, I wonder what kind of creature he defeated" he stated as he also got up and walked off.

Natsu, Happy and Midoriya walked for only a short while before they arrived to what Natsu said was Lucy's apartment, and waiting out the front for them, much to Midoriya's confusion, were Gray and Erza.

"I see that Natsu convinced you to come" Erza stated as the three of them walked up to the other two.

And Midoriya sheepishly rubbed the back of his head in response to this, "Well, I didn't have anywhere else to stay, and since it appears that all of you will be staying here tonight, it will probably be fun".

"Yeah, Lucy's totally fine with it" Natsu yelled as he swung the front door of the building open and walked in.

"I guess if she's fine with it, then it shouldn't be a problem" Midoriya mumbled as he followed after the dragon slayer, and Gray, Happy and Erza followed suit.

(About half an hour later)

Midoriya was sitting on one of the chairs as he absentmindedly tensed and untensed his arm as everybody else made themselves at home in Lucy's apartment.

"I wonder" he murmured as he looked at the wall.

"Are you waiting until a more suitable time to tell everybody else about your power" Erza said, breaking him out of his absentmindedness and looking to her.

"Well, I don't exactly know how I want to approach the whole Deliora thing, and the fact that my ability isn't even the most stable" he exclaimed as he watched Natsu and Gray tussling in one corner of the room, "And I also didn't exactly want to bring even more problems into the fray".

"So, what do you plan to do, know that you have gotten here, and joined Fairy Tail?" she asked as she took a sip of the tea she was holding.

But Midoriya just gave a weak chuckle in return, "Those guys didn't exactly give me any hints, and although I read up about all I could about how this world operates, I'm still concerned about the future, and whatever that presence was that revived Deliora" he meekly stated as he tapped his fingers on the table.

He then glanced to Natsu on the ground, "Hey, what did you tell Elfman about me?" he questioned the boy.

And Natsu shrugged, "Well I told him you destroyed a giant monster, because I couldn't remember the name of it, and you did it in one attack, and that it was awesome" he stated.

"And you didn't think to tell him what happened after he used the attack?" Gray questioned Natsu as he sat down at the table.

And Natsu shrugged again at this, "Guess I forgot about it" he said.

Midoriya sighed at this interaction, and then he smiled, "Well, I guess that it doesn't matter, since you didn't mention any of the stuff I said not to say, I can't really tell you off" he said as he then grinned at all of them, "But try not to forget all the details of what happened, otherwise people might get the wrong idea about how powerful I actually am".

Gray, Natsu and Happy all nodded at his statement, but Erza took another sip of her tea and then looked at him, "But at the same time you shouldn't think of yourself as weak" she said.

Midoriya then gave her a slightly questioning look, but then he nodded and smiled at her, "Right".

And just as they finished talking, the door opened, and Lucy walked through the door, followed by what Midoriya guessed was one of her celestial spirits.

"…the best-!" she exclaimed as she walked through the door, as if she was just finishing a sentence she had started before she walked through the door.

And although she had a shocked expression at everybody in the room, Natsu, Gray, Erza and Happy all welcomed her as if she were reacting normally, but Midoriya was instead confused by her expression.

She then started to pick up the suitcase she was carrying as Midoriya realised what was going on.

"Too Many People!" Lucy screamed as she flung her suitcase directly into Natsu's face, sending him crashing to the floor.

"Why do I get the feeling I was lied too" Midoriya then slightly muttered as he looked at how irate Lucy was, but before he could get up and explain his situation, Erza spoke.

"This relates to the incident with Phantom" she said as she crossed her arms, "And the fact that they came to this town…".

She then continued, "Which means that they may have discovered the addresses of our personal residences" she said with suspicion, to which Lucy gulped, and Midoriya just continued to look on she talked.

"I hope this is not the case…, but they may attack any one of us when we are alone" she said as she closed her eyes, "So Mirajane said to everybody else that it would be safer if we stuck together for the time being".

"i… is that so…?" Lucy sheepishly replied as she looked to Erza.

And Happy yelled to her in response, "So we're all staying here tonight!".

Midoriya then sheepishly spoke, which got Lucy's attention, "I didn't really have any place to stay, and since Natsu said that you were okay with me staying here tonight, I guessed that it would be better than nothing" he said as he bowed to Lucy in an apologetic manner, "And I didn't know that you didn't know, so I am sorry".

But Lucy just waved her hands at him, "It's fine, I guess, you didn't have anywhere else to stay, and it isn't your fault" she said as she turned to look at Natsu (who was just looking at everybody with a glum look).

"You are a young woman of a certain age, and so it would be inappropriate for you to stay with Natsu and Gray unchaperoned" Erza quickly interjected, which made Lucy look to her, "That is why I am here".

Lucy nodded at Erza's explanation, and then she looked to Gray and Natsu, "And what about them?" she asked.

Natsu responded to Lucy's question, but at that same time, Midoriya heard a much louder sound call to him, and watched the others talk about something embarrassing, judging by how Lucy was reacting to what was being said.

He absentmindedly walked over to the window, and looked out of it at the glistening moon, and more importantly, the town he was in.

("Something's off") he thought as he started to feel a small amount of power surge through his body.

He then looked to the others, shaking his mind of the absentmindedness, and quickly grabbed a pillow off the couch.

"I'm just gonna take a quick nap" he said, and when he saw that they had heard him and were trying to respond, he gave in to the unconsciousness that was starting to grow over his body.

"Midoriya" Erza said as she quickly stood up and ran over to him, while the others all turned to look at the young man who had just suddenly passed out with barely a warning.

Erza then knelt down as she checked to make sure he was still alive, and when that was proven to be true, she relaxed slightly.

"Maybe exhaustion" she said to the others as they all looked at him.

"We should clean ourselves up for the night" she then said as she grabbed everybody else and proceeded to work out the bathing schedule.

Midoriya awoke in the now familiar black world that he was getting quite used to ending up in at the most randomness of times.

"YOUNG MIDORIYA" All Might yelled as he suddenly appeared in his weakened form.

Midoriya then slightly flinched at the sudden appearance of his former master, "All Might" he exclaimed as he jumped up and faced the vestige of the older man.

"You seem to be doing well" All Might relaxingly stated as he looked at the younger man.

And Midoriya gave him a heartfelt nod, "Yeah, I guess I am" he said.

"Well, that is good to see" All Might then responded as he smiled, "But since you have awoken back here, you must know that another is about to come to the surface".

"Another quirk of the vestige's?" Midoriya questioned, and All Might gave him a shrug.

"Maybe, but all I know is that you will have to realise that even though you cannot truly not interact with those that you have lost, some have still left something with you" All Might explained as he flung his arms out in an expressive manner.

But this statement made Midoriya just look on in a completely confused manner, "What…?' he expressed as he looked to All Might.

And All Might gave him a knowing nod as he started to disappear into shadows, and the blackness started to cloud Midoriya's vision again, ("Seriously") he thought to himself as he lost consciousness again.

Midoriya awoke as he heard mumbling around him, and as he groggily looked up from the spot he had been lying on for who knows how long, he could see the others talking about something, but his mind was still fuzzy, so he could only pickup on every couple of words he heard.

But after a couple of minutes, he had managed to piece together what the others had been talking about, and as he stood up and stretched his joints from not having his body in a proper sleeping position for a long amount of time, everybody looked to him.

"How long was I out?" he asked as he looked to them.

"Only a couple of hours" Erza replied, "And I would inform you of what we just finished discussing, but since I noticed you had regained consciousness a couple of minutes ago, can I assume you already know?"

Midoriya raised an eyebrow at her and then shrugged, "So what will happen now?" he hesitantly asked as stretched a bit more and leaned against a wall, "In regards to Phantom Lords actions, and the future?".

"Hopefully, nothing" Erza morosely muttered as she looked down.

(The next morning)

The group were all relaxing in Lucy's apartment, having woken up, and just messing about.

"So do you think that you could do destroy anything in one attack?" Happy asked as he floated by Midoriya.

And Natsu also looked to him in anticipation of his answer, "Because you said that was only ten percent of your power?" he then asked.

But Midoriya started to wave his hands in hesitance at them, "You guys saw what happened when I went to that limit, do you seriously think that I would survive using all of my power?" he worryingly questioned.

But he then held a finger to his chin as he started to think, "Well, All Might, the one who came before me, he could change the weather with just one attack, and since I have no idea what those guys did to my quirk, I'm quite concerned of what the output will be" he muttered.

"Your mentor could easily change the weather just like that, and since your power has not just increased beyond that, but also been influenced by incomprehensible beings" Erza started to explain, "I would say that you should probably be wary".

Midoriya nodded, and then, at that very moment, they heard a scream, and upon looking out the window to find its origin, they all saw a large group centred around the middle of the park.

"What's going on there?" Gray questioned as they all watched.

"We need to check it out!" Erza stated as she ran out the door and down the steps, and soon she was followed by the rest of the group.

"What could've happened?" Midoriya questioned as they all started to run through the streets and to the park.

They all soon reached the area, and after they had pushed past the crowd, they came upon a sight which made them shocked.

There appeared to be three individuals, two men and a young woman, bruised and beaten, and chained to the tree by their arms, and judging by the reaction everybody else was having to the people attached to the tree, Midoriya was able to assume that they were fellow Fairy Tail members.

He then heard the others utter different things in reaction to seeing the people.

"Levy…" Lucy said with tears in her eyes.

"Jet, Droy" Gray expressed with shock as he and Happy looked up.

And Erza just shook as she looked up at them.

"The Phantom…" they all heard, and they turned to see Makarov starting to approach through the crowd as it parted.

"Master…" Erza muttered as she looked down at the old man, and Natsu started to seethe with anger.

Makarov looked up at the three individuals stuck to the tree, and then looked down and held his head with his hand, "I could look the other way when they made a ruin of our bar…" he started to utter.

"But no father can see the blood of his children and stand silent!" he then declared as he tensed his hand and destroyed the staff which he had been holding.

"THIS MEANS WAR!" he loudly exclaimed as he looked up with a face of pure rage and anger.

("This isn't right") Midoriya thought as he solemnly looked up at the three people stuck to the tree, ("Right now, it doesn't matter what is right or wrong").

And as Gray, Erza and Natsu got the other three down from the tree, he quietly sighed, ("Going against the rules, been a while since I've done this").

Definitely did not think that I would be writing another chapter of this story so quickly, but I think it will probably be the last one for a bit.

So yeah, Phantom Lord will be next, whenever that might be, but until then, thanks for reading this story, and giving it reviews, and favouriting it.

And all questions and feedback are welcomed for this chapter.

Peace Out.
