Murderous Mornings
"Now, now, do not be like that," Morgana said darkly as she slowly walked around the kitchen table towards the terrified mother and son. "Early morning cheerfulness can be extremely obnoxious."
"W-What do you mean?" Petunia asked bravely as she pushed her large son behind her in a protective manner. "Why...why did you break in here using that freakish power? What did we ever do to you?"
"You were too happy in the morning, that is what," Morgana snarled out angrily, ignoring the shocked and surprised expressions on Petunia's and Dudley's faces. "You were all happy and cheerful and excited about the day!"
"Because once dad gets back from work we are going on holiday!" Dudley said from around his mother's thin form. "We get to travel lots and see lots of different places and dad promised to bring home a portable DVD player and there is no freak. What is there not to be happy about?"
"Dudley," Petunia said softly in a conceding tone, fear building in her eyes as she pushed her son backwards while staring at the freak of a woman in front of her. "Maybe you should...go outside and see if your farther is back yet?"
"No, I want to know what is going on, I want to know who this woman is and what she wants," Dudley said angrily, his spoilt nature showing though causing Morgana's anger to grow. "Besides, Dad only left for work half an hour ago! He said that he would not be back for another two or three hours!"
Petunia let out a soft groan as she tried to angle herself so her son had a clear run to the door. As she stared at Morgana Petunia spotted a smug knowing glint in her eyes. Laughter bubbled out of the woman's mouth that sounded like an evil cackle to the two muggles.
"How cute, mummy is trying to protect her baby boy," Morgana all but cooed causing Petunia to flinch and Dudley to gulp nervously. "But it looks like that mummy's plan is not going to plan and all because her baby boy is too stupid and spoilt to realise just what his dear mummy is trying to do for him."
At Morgana's words Petunia briefly closed her eyes as the image of her smiling sister the last time she had saw her flashed across her face. Petunia's heart ached as the sudden realisation hit her, she was now in the exact same position that her sister and nephew had been in all those years ago.
"I...I do not need my mum to protect me!" Dudley said, both bravely and rather stupidly, as he puffed himself out making him look larger than he already was. "I am not a little boy, I am a man now, and men protect their woman!"
"How cute but this is not the time," Morgana all but snarled out as she shot the pair a dark look. "Why do you have to be so cheerful for this time of morning? I do need my beauty sleep you know after being forced to stay up all night to protect the likes of you!"
"W-What do you mean? Protect us?" Petunia questioned as she prepared herself to give Dudley a sharp shove out of the kitchen door, into the hallway. "My family do not need any protection from you, the old foolish freak of a Headmaster set up special protections that-"
"How do you think they work? How do you think he got them all to work in harmony with each other? What do you think powers them all?" Morgana asked as she glared at the two terrified muggles in front of her.
Dudley gulped nervously. "T-The freakish power...that people like you and the freak h-have?"
"That is only half of it," Morgana snapped out making both Petunia and Dudley jump in fear. "I am the other half, I am the one who checks the wards every night, I am the one who makes sure that the hidden runes and special objects are alright and not damaged. I am the one protecting you all by keeping everything in working order. If it was not for me with your hatred towards your nephew would of caused the wards to fall after the very first six months he had been in the house!"
"H-How did you get into the house?" Dudley said suddenly, not missing the sudden light in Morgana's eyes. "M-Mum thinks you broke in because dad forgot to lock the front door or you came in by using a freak way but...I saw you come out from a tea pot!"
"Smart boy, I did not break in, I have been in this house since the very day Harry Potter came to live with you," Morgana said as she folded her arms and glared at the pair. "I have been living inside the magical lamp, which is not some old tea pot, in the cupboard under the stairs."
A gasp of horror came from Petunia. "S-So you know...you know all about-"
"Yes, I know all about your dirty little secrets and how you treated your nephew just because of his magic and your dislike of his parents," Morgana snarled out angrily like a dangerous wolf. "You sicken me, you and Dumbledore are the same!"
"I am nothing like that freak of a man!" Petunia shrieked out angrily while pushing her unmoving son toward the hallway door. "I am a better, more normal, person. I am not a freak, I am a hard work, loving, kind and normal mother!"
"I believe that you have also left out the word 'child abusing old biddy goat who knows how to manipulate a child's mind, just like that lemon sucking old goat who trapped me inside that stupid lamp, took me away from my home and brought me here!" Morgana shouted out angrily, her powerful magic gathering up behind her in preparation. "Enough is enough though, today things are going to change. I am going to make you pay for what you have done to your nephew and I! I will not stand for this any longer!"
End.
